How to see multiple levels of photo folders?

Using my Apple TV2 and home sharing with iTunes on a Windows xp pro pc, my folder tree for ohotos has 4 levels - my pictures, year, events, sub events; apple tv shows only the year level and groups together alll the photos in the sub folders. Is there any way to have it show the event level folders individually?

Nope, I have the same problem. My first folders are Holidays, Weddings, parties, General, Kids. and then I have 2 subfolders after these. Very annoying. There are other posts about this but I think the only solution is moving to a mac as you can tag pictures. I have Windows 7 and have no intention of moving to a mac yet.

How to eliminate multiple invisible "Recovered Photos" folders?

When I go to sync any iDevice in iTunes 11, multiple "Recovered Photos" folders appear as folders in the "Albums" list.
These folders "Recovered Photos," "Recovered Photos(1)," etc. do NOT appear in my iPhoto 11 Albums.
At present they appear to cause no harm, but I'm one who believes that "where there's smoke, there's fire" in the "computers behaving weirdly" department, so I set about to find and eliminate these phantom folders.
I tried all the "rebuild/restore" functions in iPhoto. This did not work.
I tried iPhoto Library Manager 3.8.6 (have not paid to upgrade to 4) to rebuild the library. This resulted in the "Recovered Photos" folders all appearing in the iPhoto Albums list where they were deletable, but all my Keywords and Smart Albums had been wiped out.
Any ideas on how to end up with a clean iPhoto library, complete with keywords, albums and smart albums preserved, but without these phantom folders, or is this library FUBAR?

You can use the free demo of iPLM 4 to rebuild the library.
You can try the following:
1 - close iPhoto.
2 - open the iPhoto Library package with the Finder:
3 - move the AlbumData.xml file to the Desktop.
4 - lanuch iPhoto and check to see if there's any change.
If that doesn't help you can move the file back into the package if there's any problem with the library. If not then trash it.

Does anyone know how I can get iTunes to see my other photo folders it sees 30 of the 36 and I'm well under the 64 Gig capacity?

I did what you said and it worked! but not completely. in the loops browser in the "view" window it wont let me switch through the different jam packs. my only options are "show all" and "garageband". but all of the loops from the jam packs are here. Im actually installing logic studio on two different cpu's. its really wierd. on one there is a total of 20288 loops identified(my macbook pro) and on the other theres 26345( dual g4 desktop). thats 6000 more loops on the g4! and ive installed the exact same content. something's not right here. on my macbook it lets me scroll through the different jampacks in the "view" window but on my g4 desktop it only says "show all" and "garageband" I dont know if it really matters I just want these two machines to be in perfect sync for the purpose of project sharing. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How to see charge level

Hiya folks! Me again.
Just wondering how to see the charge on my Touch while charging. The top right icon says it's charging, full charge. Meter in the "Devices" in iTunes says half way, but the icon is a bit small as well. No software or preference somewhere that will allow me to see the proper charge? I like the green/red battery at the beginning of sync, but that goes away.

Whilst it's charging once you press the sleep/wake button but before you slide to unlock the red/green battery indicator should be visible. If you've been using the iPod whilst charging just press the sleep/wake to sleep the device and then again to see the battery indicator.

Is their a quicker way to delete multiple copies of the same photos without having to go to the photo and hit the delete key.

You can select multiple photos and drag them all to the iPhoto trash at once (and then empty the iPhoto trash)

How do I select all or multiple pictures from a shared photo stream to save to my camera roll?

Open Photo Stream.
Tap Select
Tap the pictures you want to save and a check mark will appear on each.
Tap Save
Choose either camera roll, or you can even create a new folder at this point

Problem seeing all of the photo folders in itunes

I own two apple tvs. When I open itunes to manage the content on the apple tv and click on the photos tab it cuts off the folders so I can't see them all.
I've tried closing itunes and reopening as well as restarting my machine but to no avail. The problem this causes is I can't navigate to the last folders in the list to click or unclick them for syncing. Am I the only one?

Thanks for the reply. If it helps I figured out you can "restore down" the window size, then manually make the window small enough until you get the side slider on the photo albums to slide to the bottom.

How to see output levels in new I-tunes?

Hello, in the old I-tunes, I used to be able to see the output levels of the files in the box where the title appears. This really helped get uniform levels between all the files. In the I-tunes I just downloaded yesterday, that option seems to be gone. Does anyone know where it went/how to access it?

How to See Multiple Locations

I have 188 locations in an xls file I want mapped to be able to view in Google Maps, or an app that uses it, so I can see and walk to several at a time.
I've tried a few ways:
1 I used batchgeo.com to create a map and categories of all these points, but it opens in Safari, not google maps.

2 Then, I found "fusion tables", www.google.com/drive/apps.html#fusiontables, and was able to import the xls file to create a map. Very hopeful.

route4me.com, but, it does not accept my xls file, as my addresses are all within one cell, and it wants the data separated, and it's $29.95/month.

Try this:
Find the file Preferences in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/. Move it to the Desktop and reboot. A new preferences file will be created, but without the network location info. You may also need to reset the computer name.

How to see video from share photo stream?

Since iOS 7, we can share videos in shared photo stream from our iDevices. It is working fine on iPhones and iPads. And I was expecting to see this appearing with the new firmware of the Apple TV.
But no. The videos are invisible!
I even created a brand new stream just for videos. The stream appear on the Apple TV, but it is empty.
Is it normal??
My Apple TV is a 3rd generation model.
I am also expecting to see them in a future upgrade of iPhoto and Aperture....

I found out that if you create a brand new photo stream on your iPhone, put videos in and then you go on your Apple TV, then the videos will appear. But the videos on already existing streams are still invisible.
But I found a fix for that to. Go in your Apple TV setting and disconnect from your iCloud account. Connect again and then go back to the photo application... wait...wait...wait... a long time and then bingo! They appear!!!
I think it is still a bug, but at least there is a workaround now.
Ok now waiting for an iPhoto and Aperture update....

How to see old emails in hotmail folders on iPad

Are you accessing the account with the Mail app?
If so and you want all server stored mailboxes available on your iPhone, you must create/access the account as an Exchange account. Instructions for doing so should be available via Microsoft's Hotmail website or try a Google search for it.

How to archive multiple outlook 2007 mail folders into a single archive file?

I just migrated a client from Eudora (yeah ... I know ;-) to Outlook 2007.
He has previously set up a folder within Eudora for each year's worth of old mail going back a number of years.
I'd like to archive the oldest 5 years or so of mail into a single archive, but the manual archiving function in Outlook appears to want to create a separate archive file for each mail folder. Is there a way to select multiple folders and place them in a
single archive or must I create archives for each folder and then open them back up in Outlook and merge them?

I applied the registy update and it the (MANUAL) archive action still picks up no files....
But .......... I've just discovered the "other" Eudora import problem with which I'm sure quite familiar ...
HTML formatted e-mails being "converted" to almost unintelligible plain-text format.... :-(
This is a pretty big deal to me and worth paying up for a solution ... I found the Aid4Mail and Stellar MBOX to PST products recommended on your company's website.
I think I will be buying one or the other of them .........
Do you think one is superior to the other?
The PST file on my new machine is now ~1.5Gb populated with all the folders from my old Eudora account and LOTS of hosed up HTML --> plaintext mail
I have the PST in operation for other functions (calendar / Todo / iPhone sync). so would like to Delete all the "old" Eudora folders leaving just "IN" and OUT and a bit more then have
either Aid4Mail or MBOX2PST import the Eudora mail correctly into my existing PST file but I'm not sure that's a reasonable expectation...
In "additional" expectations ... maybe these programs would import with correct time-stamps and fix my archiving issue also ;-) ?

How to see multiple tables on the same screen using Mac Numbers?

I'm working with a spreadsheet on Numbers (iWork '08) on my Mac. I have three worksheets that each have one table in them. I'd like to be able to see two of the tables simultaneously. Similar to the "Tile" function that I used to use in Microsoft Word. Does anyone know if something like this exists? Googled for it until I was blue in the face and went back at least 500 threads here!!!

This will seem so easy once you get it. In the Sheets Pane, drag tables from one sheet to another until you have all three in one sheet. Then go to that sheet and arrange the tables to your liking.
I should note that you will need to make sure that the Sheet icons are expanded: click on the triangle next to the Sheet icon until it points downward and reveals the sheet content.

I have create the class of variant, characteristics and configuration profile, also I have create the Bom and assign the dependency. But in my quotation, when I chosed the characteristics, only the first level can be brought out under the top material. The item aa can't be brought out.

I change the Structure Scope to B and Application SD01, but it seems conflict with the config strategy and variant matching. So, in VA21, material can't be determined by system automatically through choosing characteristics. System expands all the material of the top material. Like this:

How to "Capture Multiple Levels" of a SharePoint 2010 site

Hello! I have an end user I'm trying to support who is trying to update her SharePoint site so she can print the .pdf format. Whenever she tries to "Get Entire Site she gets an authorization failure and it says Error: Nothing Done. We have migrated the site content over from the old intranet page into a SharePoint 2010 site. However, user informed me that she needs to have the ability to print the entire site content and she had been doing this using Adobe Acrobat X Pro. How do I correct the authorization failure message? I'm a SharePoint administrator so please let me know what I need to do on the back end to get this to work. Thanks!

I have seen the same error a number of times. I found that certain domains would not work and give me the error msg. and not allow me to capture a website into PDF format.
http://www.wisconsindot.gov/projects/index.htm generates the 'Authorization Failure' error msg. and will not create a PDF file.
http://www.dot.wi.gov/projects/index.htm and http://www.dot.state.wi.us/projects/index.htm both work fine and create a PDF file as intended.
Do you have an alternative domain you can use for the URL? If so, try that and let me know if it works.
