How to See Multiple Locations

Hi,
I have 188 locations in an xls file I want mapped to be able to view in Google Maps, or an app that uses it, so I can see and walk to several at a time.
I've tried a few ways:
1 I used batchgeo.com to create a map and categories of all these points, but it opens in Safari, not google maps.

2 Then, I found "fusion tables", www.google.com/drive/apps.html#fusiontables, and was able to import the xls file to create a map. Very hopeful.
But I have not found a way or an app to display them. I tried 3:
route4me.com, but, it does not accept my xls file, as my addresses are all within one cell, and it wants the data separated, and it's $29.95/month.

Anyone know how I can see these locations in Google Maps, or an app that uses it?

Try this:
Find the file Preferences in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/. Move it to the Desktop and reboot. A new preferences file will be created, but without the network location info. You may also need to reset the computer name.

    I think we will use all these tables and there is a relationship between all.

    I believe you are talking about defining BIN's (locations) within a Warehouse.
    This is quite possible and has been explained / discussed on this Forum a few times in the past.  Though I am completely clear on how you would like to implement this I could give you some guidelines..
    Creating a @location UDT is correct to maintain list of warehouse locations
    UDF in Items - Warehouses (Item Master ..Inventory Data Tab..Rows)
    UDF in Marketing Document Rows (When you add a UDF here U_Location then this will available in all marketing documents, both AR and AP)
    You will define a location for an Item in the Item Master....
    In the GRPO..you can use FMS to list the location/s for the Item being received from the Item Master and the User can Select it.
    In the Sales Order, you can select the location from which the Item could be picked..
    Let me know if your process / ideas are different

    If you set up the find my iphone feature on the iphone itself and it is on and it has not been restored, then you may be able to locate using icloud.com.
    Otherwise, it cannot be tracked.

    I'm working with a spreadsheet on Numbers (iWork '08) on my Mac. I have three worksheets that each have one table in them. I'd like to be able to see two of the tables simultaneously. Similar to the "Tile" function that I used to use in Microsoft Word. Does anyone know if something like this exists? Googled for it until I was blue in the face and went back at least 500 threads here!!!

    This will seem so easy once you get it. In the Sheets Pane, drag tables from one sheet to another until you have all three in one sheet. Then go to that sheet and arrange the tables to your liking.
    I should note that you will need to make sure that the Sheet icons are expanded: click on the triangle next to the Sheet icon until it points downward and reveals the sheet content.

    Using my Apple TV2 and home sharing with iTunes on a Windows xp pro pc, my folder tree for ohotos has 4 levels  - my pictures, year, events, sub events; apple tv shows only the year level and groups together alll the photos in the sub folders. Is there any way to have it show the event level folders individually?

    Nope, I have the same problem. My first folders are Holidays, Weddings, parties, General, Kids. and then I have 2 subfolders after these. Very annoying. There are other posts about this but I think the only solution is moving to a mac as you can tag pictures. I have Windows 7 and have no intention of moving to a mac yet.

    Have you aware of the geolocation field that's been introduced with SharePoint 2013?  You can store location data within a list and then integrate this within Bing.  The second tutorial on this Bing team blog will show it well.

    The short answer is that you'll put the source clip(s) for each inset on a different video track, all stacked up. Then use the Scale and Position effects (under "Motion" on the Effect Controls panel) to reduce their size and place them where you want.
    If the content of an inset will involve edited content (where you're cutting among various clips or just trimming out unwanted content from a single clip), then you'll probably find it easier to do all those edits in one sequence, then nest that sequence in the master sequence, where you apply the Scale and Positioning effects. That will save the step of applying the scale and position effects to each edited track item.

    Suddenly my event library in iMovie 11 is empty.  I have tried deleting the plist, importing clips from multiple locations (to see if they show up in the library), re-installing iMovie, and re-installing Mountain Lion.
    I was working on a project, when all of a sudden the event library went blank.  There are no devices showing in the left column, only "last import" and "aperture videos".  There are no video clips in the editing window.  I have "Show: All Clips" selected.  I've tried "group events by disk". 
    When I have a Project open, it plays just fine.  There are no yellow triangles saying "source clip is missing".  Yet, again...nothing is in the event library large editing window.  So, it seems the data is still there, but invisible.  This is true with all the projects, and all the external devices I've experimented by plugging in to see if their video clips show up in the event library. 
    I have tried to import new movies, and iMovie responds as normal...looking like it's importing, then "generating thumbnails", then it makes the "ding" signalling that the import is complete...but nothing shows in the event library.  I've tried importing movies from the harddrive, from quicktime, and from an external drive.
    I have searched the forums, and found many users with a similar, but not the same, problem.  For them, it seems the "go to users-library-preferences and delete iMovie plist" has solved their problem.  This didn't work for me. 
    I uninstalled/reinstalled iMovie, I even have re-installed Mountain Lion (from a last-ditch effort suggestion from Apple technician). 
    HERE'S AN INTERESTING DETAIL:  After almost 5 hours on the phone with Apple, I decided to cut my losses and take my project to another Mac I have.  I'm working on a project, for work, that is critical that it's completed by tonight (whoops), and all my video is on an external drive.  So, I plug in the external drive to Mac #2, open iMovie, and everything is looking fine.  I continue importing some files I was converting, through Wondershare, and suddenly (whether or not this has to do with the importing, I'm not sure), the SAME THING happened to Mac #2!!!!  I can't believe this. 
    Does anyone have any suggestions?  Have you ever heard of this happening?  Could it have to do with the files I'm importing??? 
    I apologize if my language is confusing.  Obviously, I'm not an Apple genius-person!  I hope I've provided all the information you need.
    Mac #1 is a 27" desktop, mid-2012, software up-to-date.  Mac #2 is a 24" desktop, about 4 years old, OSX 10.7.5

    I'm adding more information:
    in Finder, my iMovie folders are all visible and accessible.  When I click on a clip from iMovie Events folder, Quicktime opens and plays the clip.  ALL my video is not missing - it just isn't showing up in the Event Library!
    This happened all of a sudden, while I was working on iMovie project (on both computers).
    All my Projects are intact, and play when I open them.

    I can create an image from a virtual machine, but this image is only available to the location where the virtual machine was originally created (for example East US).
    I want to create a single image that is available to multiple locations (East US, North Europe, Southeast Asia, etc...)
    Is this possible?  I've noticed that stock images are available to multiple locations, can user images be configured in the same way?

    As far as I know, it is not supported currently. But you could use a compromise method. You could copy the Image into other regions storage account. Then you could create the VM using yourself Image. But you may be charged the outbound data. I recommend

    Currently i'm trying to write a simplesearch implementation that will only return the result it if contains a specific tag. I would also like to include DAM assets in the search, wherein lies the problem:
    I need to look in both jcr:content and jcr:content/metadata for the tag, and if the tag is found in either location, return that page. Here is the code I am trying to use, but it currently only looks for the tag(s) in one location. Any tips on how to get it to look in multiple locations?

    I figured this one out on my own. Kind of a "Doh!" moment.
    What I ended up doing is this: I created a PredicateGroup, and populated this group with the predicates I needed. Then, I set the PredicateGroup allRequired to false. Voila! It works!

    I want to select photos from multiple locations (close to eachother) in Places view (shift-P). I tried clicking to pins with cmd-click, but that did not work. They turn yellow, but that does not select the photos from that location.

    Yellow pins select the photos from that location, whereas clicking the arrow on the balloon above the pin creates a filter for photos from that location.

    In iPhoto you can see a map with your photos on it by clicking on the "Places" icon in the left panel.
    If you want to see the location for a specific photo, find the photo in iPhoto, select it, and press comman-I (or mouse-over the lower right corner and click on the 'i' icon that appears). A panel will apear that shows the photo name, date it was take, and location.
    One thing to keep in mind, the Photo app on the iPhone will only record the GPS location where the photo was taken if all of these is true: the iPhone has Location Services enabled (Settings > Location Services), the Location Services switch for Photo is set to on (Settings > Location Services) and the phone can determine its location (if you are in a cavern taking pictures, it's not going to be able to receive signals from the GPS satellites to figure out where it is).
    If no GPS coordinates are recorded in the photo, you can use iPhoto to specify the location where the photo was taken after you import it from your camera.
