How to see old ssis logs ?

Hi ! I don't know where or how SSIS (the SSIS tool, not sql server agent) stores logs for old jobs. Is there a way to see the log of SSIS jobs from past day, week, month etc . ?
Thanks.

Will it also show reasons for failure of the package ? Thanks.
Hi blastoSO,
By querying the sysjobhistory table of MDSB database, we can view the error message of jobs. However, to get the SSIS package log details, we have to make use of SSIS logging such as SSIS logging provider for SQL Server which store the package logs into
the sysssislog table.

    Dears,
Could you please how to see the change logs for billing document.
My client is using ECC 6.0 & if i use VF03 > Environment > changes > does not show the changes i had made.
    Thanks in advance
    Ranjan

    hello, friend.
you should be able to see changes done after the initial creation and saving, by going thru Environment > Changes.  try it again, and this time make sure that changes were done to the billing document prior to posting to accounting.
normally, when configuration of Billing is done correctly, there will be little or no instances of changing anything in the Billing document,  as saving the document after creation will post this to Accounting.  of course, inclusion of a posting block in the billing type will provide you the opportunity for changes.
    regards.

  • How to use old archieve logs with a new control file

    Environment:
    ORACLE_BASE="/export/home/oracle"
    ORACLE_HOME="/export/home/oracle/product/8.1.6"
    NLS_LANG=".UTF8"
    2 partitions:
    i) /data1 -- contains important datafiles (OS striping on 3 hard
    disks)
ii) /export/home -- contains the oracle program, and SYS/SYSTEM
    datafiles
    Problem:
    -/data1 cannot be read/mount (damaged)
    -oracle failed
    Action Performed:
    -reinstalled OS
-mount /export/home successfully (all oracle system files,
    instance init files exist)
    -/data1 is an empty partition
-created the oracle user, and its groups
-chown recusively for the $ORACLE_BASE directory
-set all the oracle environment variables
-attempted to start the instance, but failed due to a control
    file was
    missing
-since control files were set to be mirrored, i copied a control
    file somewhere
    from /export/home/oracle/oradata/<SID>/control1.ctl to
/data1/oracle/oradata/<SID>/control2.ctl (i.e. have them back to
    their original locations)
-the instance failed to start as well, since the datafile set in
the control files couldn't be found
-this forced me to re-create the control file... b4 i re-create
a new control file, i backed up the old one
-once the control file was created, the database can be started,
but, to oracle, all achieve log information are lost (although
the achieve log's physical files r still there)
-i imported the important data from a dump file that was
exported a week ago b4 the system failure
-since we r using the new control file, the redo logs switch
contains no achieve log information that the old control file
has, so running "recover database" doesn't do anything
    Purpose:
since the dump file is a week old, i'd like to get the data
after my last export and b4 the system failure. the database was
run in arhieve log mode, how can i recover those data with the
    new control file
    Question:
-how can we create a new control file that can drive the old
    achieve logs?
-can we convert the achieve log data (.dbf format) into text
    format?
-can we still use the old control files to start the database?
-what's a suggested solution if we'd like to re-construct the
database up to the moment b4 the system failure in another
    server?
    thx

I am in an unenviable position, with an unsupported database.
We are running Oracle 9i on Windows XP. We are upgrading soon to Oracle 11g on a newer platform, but need to get our development environment working first.
We lost a system that was running our development database without having a database export. The C drive was placed into a new system as the D drive.
I have loaded Oracle 9i on the C drive, but I have been unable to determine how to point it to the existing data files on the D drive. My search skills may be the limiting factor here...
We cannot simply load the drive as C, since the hardware is different.
What are the steps to point the new database software at the data files on the D drive? Or, how do I copy the old data files into the new Oracle Home and have them recognized properly?
Are you stating that you don't know how to use COPY command?
Can you recreate same directory structure on new C drive as exist on old C drive?
Can you then drag & drop copies of the files?

Only message that contain error, holding, not delivered are getting persisted not the sucessfully delivered ones.
Is there any Archiving scheduled for your Adapter Engine?
I want to see the old messages that were delivered sucessfully
In Message Monitoring Itself select Archive (instaed of Database) and make a search.....if archiving is scheduled then you should be able to see the messages by this option.

  • How to delete old archived logs

hai i am running oracle 9i in archive log mode
my disk is about 90% full
pls tell me how to delete archive logs that are very older

    Hi Rajeskm,
First of all, archives should not be deleted, depending your backup policie, you can need them in a recovery. But if you want delete them, do:
find <log_archive_dest>/ -name *.rdo (or extention used by you) mtime +<days ago> -exec rm{}\
    Explanation:
Find -- The first, and most obvious, use is find's ability to locate old, big, or unused files, or files that you forgot where they are.
mtime -- The mtime--modify time--is the time when the actual contents of a file was last modified. This is the time displayed in a long directoring listing (ls -l).
rm -- Deletes a file without confirmation (by default).

  • T.code FF7A: how to see old and NEW open items?

    Hi All,
I've filled the "Cash Managemeng Group" in the master data of a Customer.
The report Cash Manag.& Forecast doesn't update its old open line Items.
Only the documents successive to the insertion of the "Cash Managemeng Group" in the master data are updated in the report.
Could anyone tell how to obtain all the items (old and new) in the report?
    Thanks
    Gandalf

There are a couple options depending on the additional details of your situation....
Within t-code FDFD, there is a button labeled Data Setup.  This button is intended for use when cash management (CM) is activated for an existing company code and CM needs to be updated with transactions created prior to the activation.  It deletes all data in cash management for the Co.Cd. and then builds the CM data for all GL, customer and vendor accounts.  There are also options to update CM for other areas (Sales, Procurement, Treasury, etc.)
Also within t-code FDFD, there is a button labeled Correct Data.  This button can be used instead of the Data Setup button, if the CM data for a particular area needs to be corrected.  This function has the following options:  All GL accounts, All GL accounts with open items, All GL accounts w/o open items (non-open item managed accounts), All Customers/Vendors, All Customers, All Vendors.
It's best to run these functions when transactions are not being created on the system.

Are you accessing the account with the Mail app?
If so and you want all server stored mailboxes available on your iPhone, you must create/access the account as an Exchange account. Instructions for doing so should be available via Microsoft's Hotmail website or try a Google search for it.

There is no simple answser. This depends mainly on the way you can retrieve some application data in GV$SESSION.
This data needs to be set up explicity with DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO or maybe implicitely by the application code/database driver.
