How to see the To do List on the iCal in the iPad

Hi! Does anyone know how to see the To do List on the iCal in the iPad?
I've bought some applications from Itunes (Bento, Iwork..) and none of them allow me to see my calendar and the To do list on the same screen

Guys, I'm having this error "$ not a valid integer".
I have five modules..all in .exe format. 3 of these modules are working fine with the links, 2 modules are not..
I have 1 .exe as a menu, when I publish this slied..it would say "the files/project listed below are linked to the open projects may require exporting"
3 modules are having this
[title.htm,title.swf or title.exe}
and the remaining 2 are having the full address of the file "c:\documents and settings\ so on and so on"
what can't be like the 3 modules? I used the same procedure, what could be the problem?

How to get the iChat Buddy List to automatically appear on the Desktop

On my friends computer iChat is set to launch whenever he logs into his account, but the Buddy List does not appear on his Desktop. So when I see him online there is no green video camera mark next to his name.
If I want to do a screen share with him, I have to ask him to go to the iChat icon towards the right side of the Menubar (the round 'speech ballon') and click on Show AIM Buddy List at the bottom. Once he has the Buddy List on his Desktop, I can screen share with him.
Surely there must be a way for the Buddy List to always appear on the Desktop when logging into his computer... Can anyone help out?

Interesting one.
If I were telling you how to create this it would be like this:-
1) Go to System Preferences > Accounts > Your account and enter iChat in the Login items. (Makes iChat launch at Computer Start Up)
2) to Hide the Window (Buddy List(s) ) at Start Up click the Red Button to close the Window/Buddy List before Quitting.
This will cause the next Start Up to not show th Buddy List.
How you make the Buddy List appear after that depends on how you bring it in to View.
NOTES:
Some Windows in iChat from Buddy List to the Preferences to th Actual Chat Windows will appear in the places you left them for the most part.
The Exceptions are Incoming Invites.
This means the Buddy List will be were you left it, your Outgoing Invite/Preview whilst waiting for Connection will always be where the last outgoing Video Chat window was.
Using the Red Button on a Open Chat Window will end the Chat (All types).
However doing it to a Buddy List only Hides it.
In addition to this using the Item (or the Keystrokes) from the Window Menu of iChat for a Buddy list when it is On view will Hide it (or Bring it back if Hidden)
The Show AIM option in the Menu Bar icon's drop down is a two edge thing as it shows All Buddies (Available ones) from all AIM Buddy lists if you have more than one (Apple names are also AIM Names in this case).
Does he want to change this Behaviour ?
He would be better off using the iChat Window menu (or Keystrokes) after he has clicked the icon in the Dock to bring the app to the Front so he can access the Menu bar with ichat in it.
He could also click and Hold the icon for iChat in the DOCK and select the Account Name there. This, if I remember correctly, will have the same effect as presenting the Buddy List from the Menu Bar icon (it will be hidden at Next Start Up)

Sync your iPad with computer iTunes.
Note: your contacts should be in computer Outlook (Windows) or Contacts (Mac) application.
If you have iCloud configured in iPhone, do the same for iPad.
Setttings > iCloud >
     Account: your Apple ID
     Contacts: ON
     Documents & Data: ON

Object Id on the Decision Report List applet does not display the Object Id

The Object Id field of the Decision Report List Applet displays either the entity name of the entity name - Id. We wouldlike to dispay the siebel row Id's in that field respectivey for the parent or the child or grandchild entities.Please help with h to go about it.
If the base entity is declared as global in OPM, then global gets displayed in the Object id. If a siebel entity is declared as an entity in OPM then entityname - Id gets displayed.

Unfortunately the decision report comes from deep with the engine and there is not much you can do to change it.
However, the Decision report is XML which is then modified by an XSLT for display in Siebel. You could have a look at the style sheet and the original XML and see if there is a way for displaying the XML that might be more suitable for your purpose.
The xslt is decision_report.xslt and can be found in the siebsrvr\XSLT directory.

Silly me. I was playing around with the virtual keyboard; found the international keyboard list. I turned on the Russian/Cyrillic keyboard. Surprise, surprise, now everything is in Russian, and I can't see how to restore everything to English. Help!

Silly me. I was playing around on the settings portion of my I-Pad2, when I found the international keyboard section. I reset the keyboard to Russian to see what it would look like. Now, the keyboard is in Russian, and so are all the settings elements. I can't see how to get it all back into English. Help,

How do I make my form (list/menu) items open in the same window (self).

Hello, the kind, brilliant people on this forum have always been able to help me in the past, so I thought I'd give it a try today. Items in a form (list/menu) that I've created are opening in a blank window (pop-up) when clicked. I would like them to open in "self" mode so that pop up blockers on various computers don't become a challenge for site visitors. Can anyone please tell me how I could make that adjustment? I selected the entire form "red dotted line" around the list and changed the "target" in the properties menu to "self". Then I selected everything on the page and still not correct. I am inserting the code below. Any assistance to get me on the right track would be GREATLY appreciated!! BTW I also made the form a library item (just in case that fact is needed). Looks like it still isn't working. When I removed those items the drop down menu stopped working as well. I went ahead and posted yours as the correct answer. I'm convinced it's my skill level. i'm gonna do some javascript searches to see where the js code should go, it's very confusing to me. How do I get a shortcut list on my desktop of the Dictation Commands available using Accessibility Dictation?

I've begun to use the dictation feature within Accessibility>Dictation. When I first started to use that feature there was a nice little list that could attach itself to the desktop and float around that would be a good cheat sheet for dictation commands. Somehow I closed that window and have not been able to figure out how to get it back again. Google searches have not been very helpful so I thought I would come here and ask the community. Anybody know I can get my cheat sheet back of dictation commands for my desktop?
Of course, if there any training exercises or videos for how to use dictation in Yosemite that would be greatly appreciated to

It is also dependent on your license type, as it is populated at logon - prior to any Z-coding option - which will cause a lockout if attempted an access that way.
I recently found a cool way to detect DB triggers and updates - very obscure...
However I also "move around" during support in projects and don't always want to kick myself out. I guess SAP can "work-it-out" from the various fields of the table to map the user behaviour.
Personally I dont believe that all of such information is appropriate for public domain, as all the SAP_ALLers out there combined with the types of authentication options are not always responsible with the information either.
Thankfully, SAP has added a "salt" to the password hashes now. They offer RZ11 login/password_downwards_compatibility as a workaround...

How to see DBMS_OUTPUT error when pl/sql proc runs in the EM job scheduler?

I have a pl/sql package that uses DBMS_OUTPUT to handle exceptions. When I run the package in sql*plus:
set serveroutput on;
begin
mypkg.myproc;
end;
and there is an exception, I see the output from my DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE.
However, when I use the job scheduler in Enterprise Manager... if there is an error, I do not see the output from my exception handling code (i.e., the output from DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE).

Using DBMS_OUTPUT to handle exceptions is generally not considered good form. At a minimum, you would want to log the exception to a table (or a file). If you are catching an exception that you cannot handle, you would really want to let that propagate back up to the caller so that Oracle knows that the job failed and can take appropriate action (i.e. retrying, not running dependent jobs, notifying a DBA, etc).

If you set up groups in iCloud, a contact can also belong to multiple groups. And no work around or mispurposing of a field needed. You can also filter a group without using the search function. Plus, your contacts are backed and available via another avenue if needed.
Not questioning your solution - I'm sure it works - but the functionality exists within the design.

Imac is 4 months old. Using installed Outlook for Mac 2011 but now want to use ical so that I can start to use iCloud to sync with my Ipad2 and iPhone. How do I move my calendar from outlook to ical on the iMac?

This is my first attempt at using this forum so please be patient with me. I am new to the apple world. Bought an Imac desktop computer back in October and installed Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 because I was used to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and outlook. Now I am being told that I should be using ical for my calendar so that I will be better able to move to icloud for use between my Imac, Ipad2, and Iphone.
The question is: how do I move my calendar which is in "Outlook for Mac 2011" into ical on my Mac? Do I have to remove the Outlook entries from the computer and reinstall them back to the same machine or can I somehow move calendar entries within the machine? I appreciate any help I can get. ICloud on the web is missing events on iCal, iPhone and iPad

I am using iCloud to sync 3 calendars between my Mac, iPhone and iPad. Bizarrely, all of the events are perfect in iCal on my Mac as well as on the iPad and iPhone. However, when using iCloud's Calendar app on the web it is a patchwork of random events missing. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.
Also, with iCal running on the Mac, my Calendar app of choice, Fantastical, displays all of the events perfectly. Once I quit iCal, I get the same random missing events as the web app. Yet, Calendar, Fantastical and any other calendar apps on both my iPhone and iPad always display all the events properly.
This has been driving me crazy. I tried exporting all of my calendars locally, deleting everything on iCloud, creating new calendars and merging in the old data. I got the same end result. I also tried importing the old calendars as completely new ones (not merged) and got the same missing events.
If anyone has any suggestions of something I may have missed, I would be eternally grateful. I can't afford to lose any of my calendar data.

Sign into your account on icloud.com, click on your name, then click on Time Zone. Check that it is the correct time zone and the selected citiy is near your location.

How to delete addresses from the pop-down list in the "To" line ?

Several times I have entered someones's address incorrectly in my address book. When I correct it at some later time, the incorrect one still appears in the pop-down list when I start typing the name in the To: line. Sometimes I don't look closely and the old, incorrect address gets entered (and then I never hear back from the person!). So how do I delete the incorrect ones? I've tried everything I can think of.

Those are probably coming from your previous recipients list.
Open Mail, Click on Window, Previous Recipents, and delete any that you don't want.
