You can drag and drop files to the Time Capsule using the Finder.
Open Macintosh HD or the Finder and look for the Time Capsule icon under the SHARED heading on the left side of window.
Click on the Time Capsule icon and a folder representing the drive will appear in the window to the right.
Double click the folder to mount the drive on the desktop. -

I have Time Machine that I used to back up my old computer. It was running snow leopard. My MacBook died, so I got a new one which is running Lion. how can I restore the data from the time capsule to my new Mac?
In technical support, sometimes you have to make educated guesses. I'm sorry that you were offended.
iTunes does prompt when it is going to erase a device, and the message is clear.
She said in her message that she was able to successfully sync the old ipad. This indicated to me that itunes wiping the data was not an issue, because either it had been setup at the apple store (in which case it doesn't actually wipe the ipad despite saying it will*) (*based on a single case I saw), or because the itunes media folder was migrated.
Furthermore, my solution was to tell her how to backup her ipad (by either doing it manually, or as a last resort, by deleting the corrupt backup -- that she couldn't access anyway.)
I got that last part of the instructions from the "Taking Control of your iphone" book which I found samples of when I did a google search for "corrupted backup itunes".
She marked this as a solution, so it worked for her. -
I have bought a time capsule to use as time machine device. Until now I have used a external hard disk. How can I transfer the the old time machine datas to the time capsule?
This is really difficult to the point of not really worth it.
Keep the old TM backups in archive.. and start afresh on the TC.
Time Machine has a different way of backing up on Network drives cf Local drives.
Pondini does have a method to do it... but I would not recommend it.

TC password or disk password in the TC.. no problem.. soft reset.

If you encrypted the backup in TM and have forgotten that password you are doomed.. there is no way to recover it I know of.. there is a warning.. very clear.. do not forget the password.

As far as I can tell, there's no built-in option to get the date printed without the time. It's hardcoded in a C++ file.
As a workaround, you can enter custom text for the footer, but it would need to be updated every time the date changed. I can think of a couple ways to automate that:
* An add-on (but I'm not aware of any add-on for this)
* External process to push a new date into prefs.js, a settings file that stores your header/footer preferences, among others (but Firefox should be closed when you update this file, and it will be read when you restart)

This works if you imported your footage from a camcorder, either miniDV or AVCHD.
However, if you have imported an analog file, or saved a DV file to a QuickTime File, you may just see the file creation date in VIEW PLAYHEAD.
However, there is a trick to getting even these clips to display timecodes if you know the start time.
First pick a clip. Make a copy and drag it to your desktop, just so you don't lose anything.
Rename this copy in the following format clip-yyyy-mm-dd hh;mm;ss.current file extension.
For example, clip-2001-07-14 09;30;45.mov (note the space between the day and the hour)
This would be a .mov clip that starts with the first frame at July 14, 2001 at 9:30:45 AM
Then import the clip into iMovie. You now have timecodes at the playhead. -

No, that is incorrect, the red ones show only the ones which need several hundret milliseconds in one execution. This can even be correct for hard tasks. And there are lots of problem, which you will not see

How do i parse data from the second jframe back to the first?
Hello.
I have a jFrame were I promt users to keep a list of Names in a jTable. (I keep data for something else, but lets say names.. ) Anyway, afterwords I want to add some extra parameters for each name. So I created a new frame, which is opened when user press an Edit button. The new frame opens and users can add for the specific name some extra data, like age, height, color, sex.. etc. that characterizes this person.
On this second form i have a save button, which when its pressed i would like to keep this information for this name, so as when user press edit again from the first frame on the same Name the data that previously entered will be loaded (lets say that the user can not enter the say name again)
I haven' t figured the code for the save Button, but with the rest I am fine.
Can you give any ideas with structures that I have to use and how the action listener will have to be??
When I set visible the new form i have made a constructor that loads the new form which have a label with the name of the person that is edited., but how do i parse data from the second form back to the first that is already opened??

How do I transfer data from one time capsule to new time capsule when TC backs up an iMac and MacBookPro
It is generally better to leave the old backups and start again.. unless there is something you particularly need.
But if you desperately want all the old backups you have to copy the sparse bundles.. this will take very long time as it must copy via the computer..

I am using an old iPhone 3 as an iPod touch. It's no longer connected to a network. I am trying to download apps while using a secure internet connection, however, it's not allowing me to do so. IPhone 5 using data all the time
My husband has had his iPhone 5 for a couple of weeks. We have Verizon 300 mb plan, as he is mainly just using it for calls and text. But it is using data all the time! Today our online Verizon account is showing 59 episodes of data usage. They are small, but still, why are they there? All he has done is call and text. He would like to keep the cellular data on because he texts by talking to it. He did not send anything close to 59 texts.n was not on the Internet.
We have turned off practically everything. Location services, stocks, weather, email, notifications for everything except text and calls. Stopped it from sending data to Apple. He has added only 4 apps- cam wow, talking bird, talking cat, and free cell solitaire. Not signed in for iCloud or Facebook or anything.Is Digi a CDMA carrier? or is it GSM/UTMS?
If CDMA, that's normal. The technology was not designed for data and calling.
If its GSM, give them a call to seek resolution.
