How to see WAD reports on browser

Hi experts,
We created some reports on BEx. Now we want to show them in browser.
For this i went into WAD and gave one report as input.
An URL is generated. I copied that URL and pasted in the Address bar of internet explorer.
It is giving an error as follows:

What has happened?
URL http://ocbomsap04:8014/sap/bw/BEx call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system BP1 with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

This is the first time we are using to publish a report on browser. What the settings do we need to do to see the reports on browser ?
Plz provide some step by step..

Hi,
Go to All programs and select your web application designer
Select the button to create a new page in WAD
Select the chart and place in the layout
Next goto Data provider Target and select your query
Give your report name in the given data provider screen
Select your query in History/find/Favourites/Infoareas button
Select your query in this screen and click OPEN
Now we can see the data provider is assigned to the chart.
To edit the chart you have to right click on the chart
After right click on it we will find another screen where we can edit all the settings
In this screen we can find NEXT click button to change our settings
In this screen we can state the tasks (Title, units, values, range)
In this screen we can change our background /validity/color
In this screen we can add values to the chart
In this screen we can add validity/positions/order/axis types to the chart
In this screen we can change the global settings/and overview of the chart.
This screen shows that we have customized the chart successfully
After successful creation of the chart we have to save the chart
Save your chart in your favorites by giving the description and technical name in the given block.
Now execute your WAD by selecting the execute button
This is the design what will be given as your out put

How to start WAD report from MSS with Hierarchy ?

I have a WAD Report that the parameters for it are: Org unit - as the root, and a year/month.
The report receive an org unit and display data for it and for all org units under it in the Org. structure.
I start the report from the MSS.
In R/3 in table T77MWBBWS I created an entry for that report with Reference char. = "ORG_STRU" instead of "0orgunit".
The report ignores the Org unit that I choose from the MSS selection screen, and starts with the Root Org unit of my Org structure.
What to do in order to start the report with the Org unit that i select and to get results for all the org. units under it ?

How to see workbook in the browser

i have created a structure according to user . and saved in the workbook . now user want to see the same workbook structure in browser . is there any way to see the workbook in browser. i tried to save a workbook in web browser. and try to open it . it opens in excel insted of IE. any suggestions will be helpful . thanks in adavance .

You can do this,
Open the query in the query designer. There is an icon in the tool bar called 'Display Query on the web' (third icon). Once the query opens in IE, copy the link and save it.
You can send this link to anyone. When they click it, the report will open in IE browser (in the default web template provided by SAP). Later on you can create your own webtemplate if required).

How to see the report when runing the application

I've created a structure of what I want to see when I run the application by creating a tree of blank pages and I see it by running the application.
Then I've created a Form on a Table with Report called Y and I've indicated under which label X of the tree to put it.
When I run the application and go in X I don't see my report Y. Where do I have to tune for showing the report Y? Somewhere in Shared Components or where else?

Could any one teel me how to see coverage report for core1_mini regression

Hi every one:
I would like to see coverage report for core1_mini regression with vcs. I used the follow command:
sims -sim_type=vcs -vcs_build -vcs_use_cm -vcs_cm_args="line+cond+fsm+tgl" -group=core1_mini.
After simulation, 4 files have been generated:
cm_data.line,cm_data.cond,cm_data.fsm,cm_data.tgl.
(under /coverage/verilog)
Are these four file for all tests(mini regression 68 tests totally)?
Is it true? shall I moify somewhere in sims,1.262 ,for example vcs_cm_merge? I feel a little confussed.

For you requirement you dont need to go for WAD.
from query to direct update DSO, you can load data through APD(RSANWB).
If it is necessary to load data from WAD, Please update, we will discuss.

How to see cover art while browsing playlists?

Is there any way to see the art work displaying in the Selected Song window or anywhere else while browsing the Playlists?
I can't only see the art cover when I select a song, but not before. It would be useful to be able to the cover art of the albums that I have created in the playlist.

Yes, when you have a song selected.

You mean you CAN only see it when a song is selected?
It would be useful to be able to the cover art of the albums that I have created in the playlist.
This feature was introduced in iTunes 7.
You can view all the artwork with the songs.

How to see Audit report in Hyperion Financial reporting

Can we run Audit report to check which user ran report at what time in Hyperion Financial Reporting ?
I know it can be tracked in Share Services but shared services are not working , do we have any other alternative method to see the Audit report?

The "FRLogging.log" file in the "Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\FinancialReporting1\logs" folder has the information.

How to see financial reporting ports?

Hi guys,
I have a non-patched 11.1.2.1 installation in a distributed environment. On this version, what is the best way to see the ports that have been configured for financial reporting? The documentation I have seems incorrect in places so I would like to double check. Usually I would use the deployment report, but this environment is locked down so the required patch to get that running would take a while...
Any help would be much appreciated.

Property files are gone from 11.1.2. You can execute FRconfig.cmd to get Jconsole and that's where you change the properties Property Information

WAD Report(Template to be opened in new browser tab)

Hi,
I have an urgent issue with WAD Report.
I have my Template with Tabstrip containing Link Item, which opens another template on click. For this I used transfer state instruction by which new template is opened in the same tab of browser,I need new template(on clicking Link Item) to be opened in new tab of browser and the old one to remain in same browser tab.

I did something similar before.
I had three tabs.
Summary Tab
Details Tab
Totals Tab.
By default when user runs the template, first tab is displayed with summary details. When user wants to drill down to the details of particular line, then user clicks on the row. When clicked on the row, details report gets generated in the second tab but user manually needs to go to second tab to see the details.
To achieve this i did the following
DP1, Analysis gird properties
"row selection"-->single with command and used SET_SELECTION_STATE_BY_BINDING.

Iam not sure for some reason, when I select web_template and click on Web Parameters, there nothing available below Behaviour section. However when I create a new Analysis Item and see its properties, the Behaviour section shows only Allow Navigation & Only Hierarchy options.
Should I reinstall my front end. We are in SP10.

WAd Report - How to change Cursor Type...

WAD report - How to navigate to first page?

Good day,
When i run my WAD report, have the pages navigation.
When i click to LAST page and then click button "Change variables", a get my report with new data by another key, but it display it's LAST page too!
How can i changed variables and get the report with NEW data starting with FIRST page.
I have found BI_COMMAND "NAVIGATE_ROW_PAGE_START", but there is unavailable in command constructor.

This could be of two reasons. One is formula collision if you are using formulas in the report. You can set from the properties which formula to act.
Secondly, if you are having key figures data with diff dimensions i.e diff units or currencies used in calculations. This can be eliminated using NODIM() function in new formula.
Check out which case applies to you.....

How to keep the input parameters in a query (WAD report)

In some WAD reports, we have to record the report name and the user name (which user use the report) and what the selection criteria the user input. How can we do?

Report name: create user exit variable (lets say Z_QUERY_NAME) with following code at I_STEP=2
WHEN 'Z_QUERY_NAME'.
DATA lv_compid TYPE rszcompid.
CLEAR lv_compid.
IMPORT compid = lv_compid FROM MEMORY ID 'COMPID'.
l_s_range-low = lv_compid .
l_s_range-sign = 'I'.
l_s_range-opt = 'EQ'.
APPEND l_s_range TO e_t_range.
User name: crate user exit variable (lets say Z_USER) with following code at I_STEP=2
WHEN 'Z_USER'.
CLEAR l_s_range.
l_s_range-low = sy-uname.
l_s_range-sign = 'I'.
l_s_range-opt = 'EQ'.
APPEND l_s_range TO e_t_range.
Then in WAD create 2 InfoField webitems. Set dataprovider and select variables for info fields.
