How to see what settings a preset contains?

When I get a preset from somewhere, how do I see what settings that preset controls?
Thanks,
Jim

Jao vdL had this to say:
Open it in a text editor, it will list all the settings and their values with pretty obvious names.
I think those presets are really just XML files - just a normal ASCII
text file, not a binary format file. So using any text editing tool
should tell you what settings get changed, I guess.

You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu option on your computer's iTunes (though I'm not sure if that shows in-app purchases and/or auto-renewing subscriptions) - you should seea Purchase History section on that page, with a View All link to its right

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6/7, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

  • How to see what Tables are being used in all reports

    Post Author: tmashley
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hello,
How can I see what database tables are used in all my online reports? I have around 1000 reports posted to Enterprise over 6 different datasources. If possible I would like to see the fields within those tables that are being used to.
I am using Crystal Reports XI Release 2
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks,
    Tom

I don't think you can see the databases of the reports unless you download the report onto your pc as a Crystal Report format and then open it under Crystal Reports.
This way it will open the report within Crystal Reports and will show you the datasource it is coming from.
I doubt if you can see them online.
    Kind Regards

    Hi all,
How to see the what are the privilages a USER has.

    Hi,
You can use the "DBA_SYS_PRIVS" data dictionary view to see a user's system privileges.
You can use the "DBA_ROLE_PRIVS" data dictionary view to see a user's roles by filtering on the "GRANTEE" column.
Finally, you can see what direct grants a user has on tables, views, packages, types, procedures, functions, etc. with "DBA_TAB_PRIVS"...
    Hope this helps...

  • HT4859 how to see what is backed up in iclooud

    Hi there,
I am quite new to this icloud lark and wondered if there is a way of seeing what is actually stored in icloud.  The last time I had to back up I lost all my photos as I didn't know about putting the photostream on.  I was having problems with my 3GS phone holding a charge - it had gone from 36 down to around 8 hours so about a month ago I went to the Apple store where they replaced it and the new phone was great :  back to 36 hours before recharge again.  This week I downloaded ios6 after a prompt which said it would be better for the phone,  and now this phone is only lasting about 8 hours which is why I'm going back to the Apple store yet again to see if they can sort it out.  Does anyone else have this problem after this download?  Apple won't even look at the phone if it hasn't been backed-up which brings me back to my original question of whether I can check that my photos have been backed up this time???

Tough call.  Only photos in the camera roll are backed up and only if camera roll is turned on...
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage,  tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
    IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream.  If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered.

Can you figure out with whom your MacBook is communicating? Try launching /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app from an admin-privileged account and type
        tcpdump -i en1 host 192.168.1.101
where the gray entries are variable entries, "en1" is what I think is the interface address on MacBooks for Airport, which I assume you are using as your connection to the router, and the "192.168.1.101" should really be whatever is the 192.168.x.x address for your MacBook. (If you get a message that says "no IPv4 address assigned" then en1 is the incorrect interface; look at /Applications/Utilities/Network Utility.app's info panel to find your active internet interface).
tcpdump will display packets and the IP address with whom your MacBook is communicating. It will also show MacBook port and distant end port numbers, which may help you identify what application or service is communicating, and to what application and service at the distant end.
/Applications/Utilities/Network Utility.app's lookup and whois panels should help you figure out to whom that IP address belongs, which may shed some light on why this packet traffic is happening.

  • Any direct method to see what my transport request contains ?

    Hi *,
    I have 2 doubts.
    1) I have a query already existing. Now I have created a web template of it. When I transport the query, is it that the web template automatically transports along with the query or we need to explicitly assign the request to web template ?
    2) Is there any direct method(table or program) to know what are the objects contained in a transport request. I have hundreds of queries categorised into various transport requests. Some also contain web templates, InfoObjects etc. In a single shot I want to know what a particular request contains.
If I use SE09 or SE10, the UIDs of the query elements are displayed which I need to put in the table RSZELTTXT and see the description. This is making our task cumbersome.
Please let me know if we have any direct method so that I can assign points to the useful answers.
    Regards,
    Srinivas

    Hi Mr Kapadia,
Appreciate your prompt reply. I have assigned you points.
But one thing - here I can see all the UIDS in a single instance for the request, but if I need to know what that UUID refers to - a query , web template etc or what then it could have completely solved the issue.
If you can find any table which also contains the descriptions and waht type of object it is  do let me know.
Anyways, I guess this is a useful info for everyone.
    Regards,
    Srinivas

  • How to see what are the Tables avialable in DataBase

Thanks in advance .Learning where to look things up in the documentation is time well spent investing in your career. To that end, you should drop everything else you are doing and do the following:
Go to tahiti.oracle.com. Drill down to your product and version.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what is available here. Take special note of the "books" and "search" tabs. Under the "books" tab you will find the complete documentation library.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what kind of documentation is available there by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab.
Open the Reference Manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to get familiar with what kind of information is available there, especially the initialization parms and the data dictionary views.
Do the same with the SQL Reference Manual.
Do the same with the Utilities manual.
Then set yourself a plan to dig deeper.
    - Read a chapter a day from the Concepts Manual.
    - Look in your alert log and find all the non-default initialization parms listed at instance startup. Then read up on each one of them in the Reference Manual.
    - Take a look at your listener.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files. Go to the Network Administrators manual and read up on everything you see in those files.
    - When you have finished reading the Concepts Manual, do it again.

  • How to see what "as shot" camera wb was for jpgs?

How do you see in Lightroom (2.7) exactly what the in camera white balance setting was for images shot as jpgs?
For example, I shot some jpgs using the camera's "Flourescent" setting, and some other jpgs using a numerical Kelvin value.  All the jpgs were shot at the same event, and are imported into the same LR catalog.  Now, I'd like to compare back and forth which in camera white balance setting worked better for me, but all LR reports on white balance is "as shot."  That's not very helpful.
I'd like to learn where, how, or if Lightroom reports the in camera white balance settings in metadata.  I can see exposure details, like shutter speed, aperture, ISO setting, etc.  Is it possible to also see the white balance setting?

Thanks for the responses so far.
It sounds like Lightroom CANNOT read the White Balance value of the camera's EXIF data.  It sounds like I'm looking for something in the Lightroom program that isn't there.  Is this correct?
The idea was for me to not have open up another program when I'm browsing through thousands of jpegs in LR just to be able to read what the white balance setting was.  It is very disruptive to the workflow to have to leave the LR catalog every time the question comes up.
I was hoping that LR would report what the white balance was in the camera (Canon 1DM4) just like LR reports what the camera's ISO setting was.  Since LR cannot change the ISO of a jpeg after the fact, but can still read ISO, it would seem logical that LR could report what the camera's WB was also, even though LR cannot change it.
I just want to make SURE that I haven't overlooked a box or setting in LR that would enable me to see the WB EXIF data.
    Thanks!
