How to select alt. recipe

Hi
there are 2 recipe's for a material , whenever Process order created system automatically assign recipe group X, but i want to change another group (Y) during process order release.
How to do? which setting drive's the automatic assignment of receipe(multiple recipe group for same material) to Proc.order

Hi Sami,
As indicated by our friends your issue can be resolved by using the production version and config the same in OPL8 under production version as "1" i.e. manual.
While creating alternate routing / receipe for a material , you should have the same Group with different Group counter. The same has to provided in the Production version creation against the material in MRP 4 view.
There is one more option : instead of config the Production Version in OPL8 as 1 i.e. manual you can create the required Production Version ( i.e Receipe assigned aganist the PV) as the First Production Version in MRP 4 view - Production version and selection method to be selection by Version only.
OPL8 you need to maintain the PV as automatic , then system will by default take the first production version mentioned in MRP 4 view of MM.

I assume you are using the Shape tool to draw your hexagons. After you drag out the shape, use the Transform controls to tweak the size, so that the width is evenly divisible by 4, and the height is an even number. If you wand a gap between shapes, include that in your adjustments. Make a note of the new width and height.
Once the scaling is committed and the shape is selected, Control+Alt+T to Free Transform Copy, and in the Option Bar, set the X and Y to Relative. Set X to zero, and Y to the height you set earlier, and commit the Transform. Then Repeatedly press Shift+Control+Alt+T to make more transformed copies.
With a vertical column of shapes, Alt-Click on the Shape Path in the Paths panel to select the whole path. Control+Alt+T again. This time, again using relative, set X to three-quarters of the width you noted earlier, and Y to one-half the height, and commit
Finally, again Alt-click on the Shape Path in the Paths panel, and Transform Copy relative with X = one and a half times the width you noted, and Y to zero. After committing this, Shift+Control+Alt+T as above to extend more columns.
And JJ, those are Octagons .

I have used all the steps as you mentioned in your previous reply....including checking Mulitple Selection Check Box..
Iam able to get the results when I am selecting one value..
and also I am able to handle multiple values the in the query by using IN :Parameter, but seems when we select more than one value from the parameter drop down i think the Bi Publisher is sending the values in concatenated form something ilke
ex: "'ACCOUNT','HR','SALES'" ,and when trying to display the parameters values in the output, its throwing the error as 'missing right paranthesis' ....on the whole do you have any solution which would handle
1.Single selection.
2.Multiple selection.
3.'ALL' Values.
4.Separating the concatenated string into individual strings and dispaly them on the output of the report..etc..in case of Mulitple selection.
Ex:
Concatenated String from BI Publisher:"'ACCOUNT','HR','SALES'"
Expected Output on the report:ACCOUNT,HR,SALES

How to select multiple values from the Parameters defined in the concurrent program...and i believe multiple selection is not a direct feature of EBS, but is there any workaround solution to acheive mulitple selection?

I think there's no way to do that using standard feature.
Some workaround I use :
1. If the number of selections are fixed, you could use multiple parameters for the same valueset. For example :
Selection1 : <choose first selection>
Selection2: <choose 2nd selection>
..etc.
If you don't use it then leave it empty.
2. Use text varchar valueset and enter it manually and separate by comma (or other value) , eg : selection1,selection2,selection3....etc.

If you are using the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. In methods SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY.
in layout structure you will find field SEL_MODE
pass :
LS_LAYOUT-SEL_MODE = 'A'.
In PAI.
CALL METHOD GRID->GET_SELECTED_ROWS
    IMPORTING
      ET_INDEX_ROWS = T_ROWS
      ET_ROW_NO     = T_ROWID.

How to select all the colomns_names from a table, with their datatypes ..

i would like to know, how to select in SQL all the columns names from a table with their datatypes so that i get something like this :
Table 1 : table_name
the column ID has the Datatype NUMBER
the column name has the Datatype Varchar2
Table 2 : table_name
the column check has the Datatype NUMBER
the column air has the Datatype Varchar2
and that has to be for all the tables that i own ! ..
P. S : i m trying to do this with java, so it s would be enough if you just tell me how to select all the tables_names with all their colums_names and with all their datatypes ! ..

Hi,
The data dictionary view USER_TAB_COLUMNS has one row for every column in every table in your schema. The columns TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME and DATA_TYPE have all the information you need.
Another data dictionary view, USER_TABLES, may be useful, too. It has one row pre table.

Displaying an ALV list in a popup is by no means different from a list displayed on a main screen. The only thing you need to consider is that you set the right screen level when creating the parent container for the ALV.
For more details refer to thread in CL_GUI_SPLITTER_CONTAINER ALV list is not show in called screen
