How to send a mail in webdynpro for abap

Hi experts,
Am working on webdynpro for abap. My requirement is to send a mail to end-user, he 'l fill that form and send it to me back. once I received that mail I 've to convert that pdf into xml and 've to parse that xml file and pass those values to bapi (everything in webdynpro). how can i proceed, its urgent to me. I dont want exact answer jst some inputs to proceed will help to me thank you.

I think it's easier to accomplish with workflow.
You can send workitems and receive them. Search sap help for functionality on offline approval, you can use a lot of the functionality of that one.

As I know Portal only has Webdynpro for java iview for leave request iview in the past.
but someone tell me SAP portal has delivered some new standard WebDynpro for ABAP iview.
I have a requirement to create a employee role for new Leave Request service created by WD ABAP . Under Content Provided by SAP in Content Administration, I couldn't find the iView assocated to the leave request except the Java one. Is there have any Employee Self-Service Web Dynpro ABAP workset ?

The business package for ESS based on Webdynpro for ABAP is available only for ECC 6.0 EHP5.

How authentication and authorization works in webdynpro for abap and portal

Hi Experts,
I have to create an webdynpro abap application for portal which will update the user information in the backend HR standard table.
The SSO (certificate)setup is already doen between portal and backend sap system . Do I need to pass the portal userID to the webDynpro ABAP application, via IView created to update the table. OR SSO will take care itself.

If SSO is configured as you have mentioned, then all is ok and you don't need do pass the user ID.
It will be done automatically.
Just try for yourself - create a simple WD ABAP and put it inside an iView.
Then have this WD to write the SY-UNAME on the screen.
That way you will confirm what I'm saying

Have you tried to set "Output Format" for "RAW Text" to HTM in SCOT.
If HTM is missing in your dropdown-list, you could check out table SXCONVERT2. Copy the line with category T/format TXT, and change the format from TXT to HTM. The existing function
SX_OBJECT_CONVERT__T.TXT does not need to be changed. Now you should be able to choose HTM in SCOT. You will probably need som HTML-tags in your text to make it look good.

I am very new to use this type of issue in my application i have requirement like this there is a column in the report where if it cross the limit a mail trigger must send to the concerened person saying limit exceed

1) How and where is the acl applied ?
I don't know !!! In fact, I think that I don't really know what the acl is !!! Is it the same think that the security policy ?
2) Will you need DNS ?
Yes. But DNS isn't a problem because I have created rule to check dns in my LAN and the DNS requests are OK (for example with a nslookup on my server)
3) Check the hit count
What is the hit count ?
