Hi,
can anyone help me, is it possible to send all contacts via BT to car navigation? Pairing OK, receiving calls or calling OK, but I don´t want to send each contact separately, would last tooooo long :-)
It´s a N6300 and Renault Laguna III Carminat car navigation, it his should help.
If not, is this function available by another Nokia phone? I could eventually change the mobile - not the car... :-)

SOLVED! Copy the contacts via NPCSuite to your Memory Card. Then Select All contacts (in the Memory Card) and now it will be possible to send them all via Bluetooth to the device!
Nokia should repair the missing option to send all selected contacts to other devices via Bluetooth...

I hate Blur. There's something there that only shows a subset of my Gmail Contacts. I know on my wife's Ally and my OLD Nexus One I just went in and added the extra "groups" but I don't see that on the X.
How do I get to see all my Gmail contacts?
Update: looks like it's only displaying My Contacts from Gmail, not the groups I have.

So is the only way to get all contacts to sync across (or at least, to appear; they are on the phone, just not displaying - search and you can find them) is to make them all in the My Contacts group in Gmail? That is pretty silly. Isn't there another way?

Go to contacts > options > mark all > copy to SIM memory.
The phone will not copy all the data for contacts with multiple entries. It will only copy the 1st line.

truth is i only use one way is by integrating my contacts to one of my emails . ( i use gmail )
so when i switch to a new mobile , it automatically retrives all my contacts after i sign-in my
email . There is an old method i used to do is by transfering the contacts on my desktop (pc)
using bb desktop software and then transfer them again to the new phone. i haven't tried it
since a long time though.

You cannot -- it is one at a time, by design. Further, it's not the best place to put your data...anything beyond name and phone number will be lost. Any contact with multiple phone numbers will wind up with multiple entries. Depending on what your true goal is, there is most likely a much better way to accomplish what you need.

How to: send iTouch contacts to addressbook

I made a big mistake today.
Got my Google contacts onto the itouch. Thought I could use mobilme to sync the itouch contacts to AddressBook. Made the wrong selection and now ALL my Google contacts are erased.
So I have the contacts only in iTouch and must find a way to restore the Google contacts and hopefully get the iTouch contacts into Addressbook.

Just to ensure I am understanding this correctly. You have contacts on the iPhone, But they are no longer on the Google Server?
If the contacts are still on the iPhone and you would like them in Address Book, Launch Address Book, Ensure it has at least 1 contact in Address Book.
Now connect iPod Touch - Go to Info Tab - Tell it to Sync with Address Book. Make sure you un-check the option to sync with Google Contacts.
Once this is done apply.

I got new iphone 3gs and now I want to delete all the contacts and photos from my old iphone 3g. Any ideas?

Two choices: 1. Plug your 3G in, iTunes running, hit the restore button. Restore the phone as a new device. Eject when finished, do not sync. 2. Plug the phone into a wall outlet(can take several hours), then: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.

I have not had to deal with this problem for a while but according to my last post you simply go to address book in contacts and then do multiple selections and just hit delete but be warned I think once you do that if you sync your phone with OVI suite the phone have all of its contacts deleted.
There is a way to specify in OVI suite which copy gets preference meaning whether what is on the phone is reflected on OVI suite vice versa. If you use the first option if the phone has 5 contacts and OVI 200 once you finish the SYNC OVI will have only 5. It works in the same way in reverse if you do it the other way. But I am not sure whether the setting is to be set in the sync settings on the phone or on OVI suite I never had much success with this setting I always ended up duplicating or deleting contacts as I never really bothered to really figure out how it works.
