How to send an mail to my email by using shell scripting

Hi,
I have shell script which generates some text file with text information. Now i want to send over the information available in the text file to my mail id.
Can anyone give me over the syntax or the script.?

1> Use the Mail Step in the WF and Choose the Receipient as the E-Mail Address and Give the E-Mail Address there.

I have one requirement.i had created one alert on a table.
It will fire only for update of the table.but i am getting mails on each update.
If 10 records updated then i am getting 10 mails.Is there any way to get one mail to show all the updated records in one mail.

I stored email addresses in the DB. Now the question is how to send e-mails to concerned users without using external software (Outlook, etc.). Have you tried to set "Output Format" for "RAW Text" to HTM in SCOT.
If HTM is missing in your dropdown-list, you could check out table SXCONVERT2. Copy the line with category T/format TXT, and change the format from TXT to HTM. The existing function
SX_OBJECT_CONVERT__T.TXT does not need to be changed. Now you should be able to choose HTM in SCOT. You will probably need som HTML-tags in your text to make it look good.

How to send multiple customer statements by email using RFKORD11 program. Is it possible?
As of now we copied the stanadard program and sending the customer statements by email, one by one.
if i execute the z program it will show the customer statement and send mail option.
if i click send mail it will send that customer statement to the corresponding customer.
then again i need to click back, it will show next customer statement and click on send mail.
Pl guide me, if any one worked on this program.

You first need to copy that program to Z and make the changes in it. Can you convert sapscript to smartform?
then you can write a logic to send mail in the loop.

You can have a partner function like 'Created by' and use an exit to populate the User ID to this partner function(dont have the system right now but i think this can be done with standard partner detr. procedure also)
Then, create an Output type for that Partner function with transmission medium as 'External Send'. You can use the standard SAP program to trigger the email. To send the actual email after the output is trigerred, the link connection has to be set up be BASIS but if you want to check, then goto SOST and see if the email got trigerred or not.

The only way to send an email without opening a client is: using server-side mail objects invoked by your app.
This would be the workflow:
- your user fills in form data (subject, body, mail_to)
- your application sends form data to a server (via httpservice or webservice or AMF)
- the server takes care of sending the mail in a way that is transparent to your user
So: it is not possible to send emails without opening the iPhone client (I think by "outlook" you mean the "mail client" with an Exchange account) for security reasons. You wouldn't want any app to send mails without you pressing "Send" in a known interface.
