How to send automatic emails to lotusmail from forms 10g

hi iam new to oracle forms 10g...as i have developed complaint module. now i need to send automatic emails from my forms 10g to my department heads
depending on complaints assigned, to their lotus mail... as iam totally new to this can any one tell me step by step process to do........ if anyone having sample
complaint module pls send it to me it vl be more helpful to me........

How to send an email confirmation after a form is submitted

Hi,
I would like to send an email confirmation to the person who fills out a form besides the html page confirmation that they receive. Is there a way to write in some script to pull their email out of the form and send this confirmation to them? The form is here: http://tinyurl.com/klej69

Contact Tech Support and ask them if you can modify their script or run a 3rd party formmailer script that will do what you want. I don't think they allow you to use other scripts for security reasons but it won't hurt to ask.
If you decide to change hosts, Formmailer.php from DB Masters will do exactly what you need.

How to send more than one parameter from FORM to REPORT?

Dear all,
i can send one parameter from FORM to REPORT. but when i send more than one parameter it gives error: frm 41214 unable to run report.
here is the code i think the error is in the following line of procedure:

where to place the parameters and is there any space is required?

I'm creating a form that will have an email button to send an allert that the form was filled out. So far I got it to work based on another example on this forum, but it is attaching the file to the email. I don't want that, all I need is to send an email with a predefined Subject line. Error when sending report output to printer from Forms 10g

I have a simple report that I am running from a form using run_report_object built-in. I can successfully send the report output to a file but when I send the report output to a printer my report is
terminated with report status of 'TERMINATED_WITH_ERROR'. I am using the default forms service and reports server that comes with the forms builder. How do I specify the reports server to user my default network printer ?Following is the code that runs my report.

If you use Windows the user that runs the reports server is usually LocalSystem. Check this in the Windows Services panel.
LocalSystem has no printer access. To be able to print, you have to use a real domain user that has access to the printer. So, change the Log on properties in the Services panel.

How to hide URL when calling Reports from Forms 10g.

When end user runs a report through a form then report output is displayed and following type of URL is also generated on address bar of browser: http://server:7778/reports/rwservlet/getjobid22243?server=rep_servername_appsrv
Can we hide this URL so that the user cant change the JOB_ID and get access to other previous reports.

Actually, there are several options including the one already offered above. Here are a few more:
1. If you are using 10.1.2.3 and a newer JRE on the client (e.g. 1.6.0_10 or newer), you could use java script to open the report. This will not be a perfect solution because it may not work if using a non-IE browser or if java scripting is disabled. Refer to MyOracleSupport Article 265863.1 for more information.
EXAMPLE:
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('javascript:void(window.open("http://www.oracle.com","","location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,"));self.close()','_blank');Replace the url in the above example with the call to your report.
2. Set the age of the cache to a very short value so that it is only available long enough to be viewed by the user who created it. In other words, when setting the reports properties in your Forms code, include the Reports "others" parameter with TOLERANCE=1

How to send ENCRYPTED email from 10v2 to end users who will receive their emails from Microsoft Outlook?
I created a stored procedure to change user passwords. I need to email the users their passwords but the email message has to be encrypted since it contains user passwords. How do I use util_mail to send encrypted messages? The users will pick up their passwords through Microsoft Outlook. Thank you in advance.

not sure what is the mechanics of decrypting (PGP maybe?)
I have few tips ...
1. look at DBMS_CRYPTO package
2. create JAVA stored procedure (I'm sure there are some good samples to use java for encryption) to encrypt the body (this can be executed from pl/sql)
3. save the body as a file on unix and encrypt it with unix command (this can be executed from PL/SQL utilizing UTL_FILE and JAVA stored procedure)
4. forget sending the password in email and save the password on Oracle Apex site and configure access using single sign-on with transparent windows authentication
