I have a query,is there a way to send email notification (something like password change) to users from OID(Oracle Internet Directory)?

Macs newer than 10.7's release just need to boot with the 'D' key.
Otherwise you need to find the original installer disk of the Mac, or call AppleCare for it to be able to run the hardware diagnostic.

There is no profile option available to specify whether send or not send email notification.
But after login, in preferences youcan set the notification preference value by which you can configure whether to send or not
to send email notifications.
If you select ''Do not send me mail' or 'Disabled' it will not send.
For other values it sends the notfication in different formats like text, html, attachments etc...

Send email notification when the baseline and actual values are different in project

Hi
I am working with MS Project 2013 and Project Server 2013.
I need to the send email notification to the program manager (or to a user) whenever the project manager changes the task finish date for a task. Comparison should happen with the baseline finish and the difference needs to be updated to the Program Manager
over mail.
How to configure/customize email notification for changes in MPP.
Please suggest.

If you are not having developer skills it will be complicated for you.
You need to create event handler by code, as in the below link:

How to send Email Notifications to OID users?

Hi All,
I have a requirement where I need to send an email notification from the BPEL process. The Email notification has to be sent to a used who invoked the process the userName is provided in the initiation parameters. But I need to fetch the email id for the give userName from the OID which is integrated with the BPEL Process Manager.
Is there any way I can fetch the email addresses from the OID in BPEL ?

Hi Folks, Finally I found the answer... If the APP server is integrated with the OID(Identity Management is set to Oracle Internet Directory and configured properly) the function ora:getUserProperty(bpws:getVariableData('myUser'),'mail') should return the mail property of the user object in OID.
If your Identity Management is set to the File-Based system then it will get the user properties from the $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/services/config/user_properties.xml.

I am working on a process consisting of 2 activities :-
    - Creation of a Proposal by the Employee
    - Evaluation & Approval of Proposal by the Manager
I have these 2 doubts :-
    - I need to send a notification to the manager on creation of a proposal. How do i go about it???
    - Also i need to send a notification to the user regarding the approval or rejection of the proposal.
Should i create a Callable Object in GP and add that in the Action Create Proposal???

·        A local installation of Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher or a full version of Adobe Acrobat 7.0.
You can download Adobe Reader for free from the Adobe web site.
Depending on your requirements, you may also need to configure specific composite form properties.
Apart from that, if you have a ready composite form created previously, you can upload it by checking the Field-Based Template checkbox in the beginning of the wizard for creating composite form.Thus, the wizard does not make you create a new one from scratch, but rather upload your own.

Workflow to send email notification to the assigned person using Sharepoint Designer 2013

Hi,
The requirement is whenever the assigned to Field is changed to someone, the assigned to person should get an email notification saying that the item has been assigned to you.
I created a sharepoint designer List Workflow to send an email notification, below are the steps,
1. Log workflow to the workflow history
2. then Wait for Assigned to be not empty
3. then Email currentItem:AssignedTo
4.then stop the workflow
But the thing is whenever any field is changed in the particular item this email triggers, I want to send email only when Assigned to Field is changed and not any other field. how do i write the condition to check only if the assigned to field is changed
or not and and how i trigger the email.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to send email via workflow while the assigned to field value changed.
We can create a helper field
which will store the previous value of the Assigned To, then you can compare the current value with previous value of assigned to and send an email accordingly.
I have made a simple workflow demo below, you can refer to it.
I have created a new single line of text type field AssignedPerson in the list, then use the workflow below to achieve your scenario.

How to send email externally in the RTF format

Hello,
I have quite strange problem, and I am bit afraid whether SAP supports or not? which i thought will support by default.
I need to send email out of SAP, but I need the body of the EMAIL to be formatted in RTF.
Please note we are able to convert the data into RTF and then send as an attachement with email,
But what we are looking is instead of attachment we need to send content as the mail body in the format RTF.
Please any body help on this?

We have some EM-administrators with two email adresses:
-the first is a normal address for a long format e-mail messages;
-the second is common address of SMS-gate SW (!! mail need to be parsed for getting it "TO", "SUBJ" and "BODY" headers !! ).
We need to make EM to put the the first address as "TO"-header and second e-mail addres as "CC"-header, respectively.

Yes, are correct - but as I mentioned before: there is no "cc"-functionality in GridControl...
If you have the choice to specify additional e-mail addresses maybe you could implement your special logic (SMS-gate SW => !! mail need to be parsed for getting it "TO", "SUBJ" and "BODY" headers !! ) in the e-mail server itself...
Or if you have the availability to send the e-mails of the notifications to the monitored host itself, you could "process" those e-mails and send them
afterwards to the cc-recipients...

Auto provisioning users and send email notification to the users

I currently have CUCM 10.5 setup to auto register phones and I use Cisco prime provisioning 10.5 to auto provision the users.
Self provisioning is setup and users can call the IVR number enter the self service ID, which is their DN.
what I would like to do is send an email notifying the end user of their setup and how to use their telephony device Example (Self-service ID: 8888, auth code: 3333) is this possible from Prime Provisioning or CUCM.

Wishful thinking I guess. It would have been seamless if they added that form of email notification to end users when auto provisioning. Anyways to get around that I used MS word mail merge and used the same spread sheet I used to batch provision the users to send the Self-service ID to the email contacts.

How to send email notifications from a workflow?

I am having problems trying to get notification emails to work from a workflow. I have done the following:
1.Checked notification to file is commented out in waveset.properties
2.Set SMTP server and port setting in Configure > Servers > email template
3.Set SMTP and port setting in Account creation notification template.
4.I am then running the following workflow code in reconsiliation per user workflow:

Could someone advise what I can look into to sort this and get it working.

You're running into a common IDM bug. I've hit it a few times too. I'm not sure of the root cause (sometimes using notifications as you did works for me sometimes it doesn't) but there's a workflow sub-process called "Notify" that you might look into. It's got a few extra features (such as retries) that the direct provisioning class does not.
Call it using something like the following action:

Most likely you're not specifying the path of a file on the server machine.
