If my email address contains numbers in it I get an error on the send.
SMTP error: No addresses in list were deliverable

I send email messages to an email address that is a phone number (example: [email protected]) It is received by the telephone as an SMS message no problems. Are you able to send messages with that mail object if the email address contains only letters? (this is what it sounds like what you are explaining, but I have not had this problem) Version of LookOut you are using?

For Mac users running Leopard it can be done from iChat.
Just choose FIle>Send SMS.
If you don't have Leopard you can do it this way:

I'm most likely missing something very obvious here, but I cannot figure out how to add a second (or more) recipient in the To: field for a text message. I can add, select the first recipient, delete etc. but can't figure out how to add another.

We use iCloud calendar for patient bookings in our Physio clinic. I've been told you can set up reminder messages to be sent as a text message (synced with contacts) through iCloud but have not been able to work out how to do this.

You cannot set up reminders for events that will be sent via iMessage or SMS.

I recently got an iPhone 4 on Verizon and send a text to various friends at once except some of them don't get the message or some of them just get it as an MMS message that doesn't say anything. I've heard that you can go to the settings and messaging but I didn't know what to turn off, as of now I only have the MMS Messaging option on and Group Messaging and Show Subject Field off, should I turn off MMS and what not or will that make it so I can't send picture messages to my friends and what not too? The one thing I have found is it's generally my friends that have iPhone will always get it but not all the others. I also know there's an app that may solve this but I'm low on cash and don't wanna pay for it. So yeah if someone could help me with this that'd be great, thank you

The iPhone uses MMS to send group messages so leave that on and turn Group Messaging on.
You are limited to I think 10 people in one group message.

Help with what? It looks like it's working exactly as it's supposed to.
If you want to send a plain text message, no formatting, no signature, no smilies, no extra anything, then use plain text mode and send it via vtext.com If there is a picture, or it's an html email, it needs to be sent via vzwpix.com.

I used my Old Rokr to Send my Daily Devotional's though Text Messages becasue i can send it to Diffrent users with one Text Message. It was simple just make the Message then you checked off who you wanted to get it. I dont see nothing like this on the phone to send One message to Diffrent people. Anyone know if there is a way?

It is currently not possible to send an SMS message to multiple recipients.
Hopefully with a software upgrade they will add this, but don't count on it.

hi! does anyone know how to send mass text message to a group i already have set up in address book/contacts? i have tried looking up the group as a contact to send a text but that doesn't work. am i just missing something here?

If you send an SMS or an email to 500 people or to 10 people, yes.
