How to send mass texts on iPhone 4

I recently got an iPhone 4 on Verizon and send a text to various friends at once except some of them don't get the message or some of them just get it as an MMS message that doesn't say anything. I've heard that you can go to the settings and messaging but I didn't know what to turn off, as of now I only have the MMS Messaging option on and Group Messaging and Show Subject Field off, should I turn off MMS and what not or will that make it so I can't send picture messages to my friends and what not too? The one thing I have found is it's generally my friends that have iPhone will always get it but not all the others. I also know there's an app that may solve this but I'm low on cash and don't wanna pay for it. So yeah if someone could help me with this that'd be great, thank you

The iPhone uses MMS to send group messages so leave that on and turn Group Messaging on.
You are limited to I think 10 people in one group message.

If you send an SMS or an email to 500 people or to 10 people, yes.

Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity
Go to Messages > Text Message Forwarding, and enable the device(s) you would like to forward messages to.
Your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch will display a code. Enter this code on your iPhone to verify the SMS feature.

I am a team mom for my son's football team and I have to send mass texts at least once a week to all of the parents. Some use email and some do not.. But all have, and prefer text messaging. How do I send a mass text to one group of about 22 contacts without disclosing phone numbers or breaking up the group into smaller groups?

Search the app store for "Group SMS" or something similar. The built in Messages app dosen't do group texting especially well.

I put the java code in SYS, 'cause I assume that account has max privilege. If the test is successful, I will move that to some user schema and then to deal with those privilege settings... But I'm unlucky.

If you are using Oracle8i, release 8.1 -- much can be done with Java. java
would be able to print directly from the server.
Looks like using Java to print out file is better than PL/SQL. But there's no more hint there! And, no new question can be asked there today either...
I'm wondering whether we can create a socket to a printer and send the characters there directly... Anyone has experience on this?

Did you or can you set up the new iPhone from a Backup of the Old one ?
They would have to be at the same Level of OS
iMessages are deleted from the iMessages servers as soon as that are accepted by the device they were sent to.
Essentially they are duplicated if you have more than one device and each then gets it's own "Copy" as they are push to each registered device based on unique login info.
Therefore there is is no simple "Download" old iMessages.
SMS items are also unlikely to be kept by the servers.

I have the Iphone 4s
1. you should be able to easily make a group for texting on the phone, without having to go to a computer
2. even after setting up a group text, you still have to individually select the members of your already created group in order to send a text
3. the number of persons you can send a text to seems to be limited to....ten. Wow.
This has to be fixed immediately in this phone. It is a phone first, before the cute stuff.

thanks. However, group texting is somewhat akin to tweeting to a large number of people with some frequency. It normally does not require 'discussion'. Example of use:
1. to Soccer Mom's that a game is cancelled. or that game delayed for 2 hours.
2. to a prayer team that a member has a request for the group to intervene in prayer over
3. to colleagues about a location change for happy hour or a surprise party etc.
my last 3 phones I was able to transfer my contacts and set up text groups that I blast to in 15 minutes. Never have to continually reselect the same people for subsequent texts.
You are suggesting I keep the text thread in the phone to "use" for subsequent texts, correct?
