i just cant find the option to send anything from my ipod. I have also tried pair with a phone but ipod shows not paired and one mobile was able to connect but when i tried to send a file from the phone but the phone dosent gave the option of ipod

You cannot send files from your iPod to another Bluetooth device, nor can you receive any files that way.
Bluetooth on the iPod is designed to send the audio from your iPod to Bluetooth headphones, and for limited contact between two iPods when playing certain games.
There are several different conventions for Bluetooth. The iPod uses one that has limited functions.

try resetting your network settings: Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings. This works fine if something is messed up with your carrier bundle.

Does anyone know how I get the capability to send and recieve photos using the IPhone, I have the 8GB and it is far from full?

That would not work if I'm sending and receiving from a person without e-mail capability on their phone. I used to be able to take a picture with my phone and send it a friends cell phone, is that not an option?

He should use iCloud. If he sets up an iCloud account, he will get 5GB of free storage which purchased content from the App Store and iTunes does not count against. His contacts and photos will count against the 5GB of storage but if he needs more space, it can be purchased at any time.
Many users have gone PC free and totally rely on iCloud now. It is very easy to setup on the iPad. Just tap on iCloud in the settings and follow the prompts. Read all of thses for more information.

How to get back deleted photos and contacts???

First time to sync iphone 4 to computer and I have accidently deleted all my photos and contacts! All the photos from my computer are now in albums on my iphone. Any help in how to get back deleted photos and contacts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I restored from backup but now all photos from computer are gone, plus messages since yesterday etc.!

My wife and I both have the new iPhones. Is there a way to set up two separate iCloud accounts but have photo stream from both phones sync with one family mac? So we don't want to share contacts or anything else, just photos... Thanks in advance

If you turned off Contacts wouldnt that mean that the Contacts would no longer be backed up to iCloud as well? That would make it a pain when upgrading a phone to not easily pull contacts back down.

How can I reinstall Safari 8.0 without disturbing anything else? I have OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite & Safari 8.0 (that comes in it) installed on a MacBook Pro laptop and a Mac Mini tabletop computer. I want to access internet banking which goes without problems on the laptop but does not work on the tabletop. The latter says "somebody tried to display the application in a frame..." whatever that means and obviously for safety reasons I can not start banking it always comes back to the screen with this warning. I tried Mozilla FireFox on the tabletop Mini and everything works fine including the banking. A Mac expert suggested something is wrong with the Safari settings and I should reinstall it. How do I do this without reinstalling the System? Would it suffice to wipe out the Safari Preferences and start anew? I am looking for somebody's advice more experienced than I am. Thanks!

Before you try to do any uninstall/install stuff let me suggest you something:
Create a new user and check if the same happens within its account. You could do so by going trough the following steps:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups.
Click the lock icon to unlock it, then enter an administrator name and password.
Click Add below the list of users.
Click the New Account pop-up menu, then choose a type of user. - Standard user account would be perfect here.
Enter a full name for the new user. An account name is generated automatically. To use a different account name, enter it now—you can’t change it later.
Enter a password for the user, then enter it again to verify. Using a password hint is recommended to help the user remember his or her password.
Click Create User.
Now Logout from your account (⌘⇧Q) and Login to the one you have just created. This account is fresh without any changed settings(as a new instance would look like).
Check if the same would happen and you would see if this is an issue with your installation or something more general.

In attempting to solve these problems I have gone to settings-phone-upgrade and it states that the upgrade is available-select to continue-(which I do)- it checks -please wait and it then states that update not available - try later.

For specifically fixing the Bluetooth, un-pair your phone with the car, and go through the process of repairing the two.
In general, the KK update requires many of us (different phones) to perform a Factory Data Reset after we back up our personal content (pictures, music, movies, or other downloaded files) to a PC or MAC. This will result in you having to do a bit of work to setup icons for the programs you use, and maybe putting in the specifics again for email accounts and other specialized apps. So if you are going to do this sort of thing... copy important information/settings down on paper.

Thanks that seems to make much more sense, still having some troubles though.
Ok so now the majority of it seems to be working and it seems to be sending the String just fine. And I'm having it send the String to the BufferedWriter "out" and then using the newLine() method to send a carriage return but the BufferedReader on "in" seems to not detect the carriage return.
I have it doing a readLine() so that (as I understand it) it should be blocking, waiting until an end of line character so I assume each call of newLine() should have it pick up something but a quick breakpoint shows that it never stops blocking on readLine().
I assume the connection is fine because the application running as server uses the socket object returned by the accept() method.
Is there something I've perhaps misunderstood about the BufferedReader's readLine() method?

Also on a different line of questioning, I'm just wondering about socket convention.
I was thinking it'd be useful in a game similar to what I'm attempting to make to not only send player position information but also client keypress information, I was just wondering, if you're doing something like that would it be frowned upon to use two separate ports? I think it would make the implementation far more legible and easy to structure but wasn't sure if applications usually try to stick to only one port or not.

Got 2 iPads. One used by my wife and the other by me. How to keep contents like photos and contacts separate? Don't want to mix infos between the 2 devices. Is it possible to make sure that they don't sync together?

I stripped the old iPad (the one I gave my wife), so now she only has the contacts and photos "suitable" for her. When Iwoke up this morning my iphone and my new iPad had only the photos and contacts that I left her on her old iPad!! That really *****! I've lost all of my contacts and quite a few photos. Is there a way to restore the old settings here?

I did everything according to the instructions, defined e-mail address, got the code and confirmation of the adress, but still when I try to send meile in the end there is symbol that the computer is trying to perform this task, but the minutes passes by, and nothing changes. I have spend a lot of time trying to fix it - with no success. I use Windows 8 and Microsoft OutLook. I have no problems sending other thing. I also have Mozzilla Thunderbird om my computer, but it is synchronised to OutLook (can use both of them, whichever I want).
I bought Photoshop Elements 12 to send and edit photos. I'm close to that to give up this product, despite the fact that the rest of his functions as a judge very successful. It's great that there is a possibility to get a refund of the purchase of this product for 30 days from the purchase over the internet.
Please, help me.

Do you see Adobe Email dialog hidden along the right edge of the screen? Please try dragging that in the middle of screen and then send.

Because the iPod does not have the necessary BT profiles to do that. You can pair with another iOS device via BT via some apps that for peer-to-peer gaming.
You can also use apps for limited file transfer between iOS devices like this app:

Without apps you can pair to newer iPhones to share there interent connection if you have subscribed for sharing with your carrier

Can't recieve photos or contacts from a lg lotus or a samsung blade.

I can "pair" my curve to both the lotus and the blade.
The lotus and the blade list the curve as a "trusted" device.   and vice versa with the curve.
When I try to send a photo from the lotus I have the curve's media set to recieve bluetooth and then send from lotus. The lotus seems to start then I get a BLUE bliplight on the curve led then the lotus says "the connection/transfer failed".
Same thing happens if i try to send a contact from the lotus to the curve.
All of the above also happen on the Samsung blade with an additional odd symptom. When the curve is set to recieve a photo and you go to the blade to send it..... the curve is not listed as one of the devices.... the lg lotus is, but not the curve..... If you go back and look.... It is still shown as a 'trusted device", but just doesn't show up in the photo send feature.    One of the options the blade has is to "search" for a device... Again.... even though the curve is listed as a trusted device.....when the blade searchs from the media menu for a bluetooth capable phone.... it doesn't find the curve.

Before start receiving the pictures in your blackberry device go to media, press menu and receive using bluetooth.
After this start the file transfer and you'll be ok.

I was just referring to the visual graphics (you know, the fireworks, stars and other stuff that reminds me of the 70's....) that you can play on the screen when iTunes is playing music?
I noticed that these effects are not just randomly chosen, they are in fact synchronized to the beat and intensity
of the music, and that struck me as rather cool......

Abbreviated sync sometimes only does apps and photos - not contacts or iCal

I have noticed recently that sync, which was fine for a long time, now often seems to work but goes very fast and only backs up and then does music, apps and photos (which have no changes). It does not seem even to attempt iCal or contacts (which do). This seems normally to be when the iPhone has changes but the Macbook does not.
Simply clicking on the 'sync' button will eventually trigger a proper sync, but this may take several gos (often I still get an abbreviated sync) and seems odd anyway. Behaviour is eventually fine and the clocks are synced of course (& settings are normal and static).
Any ideas?

Did you reset the phone and see if there's any different behavior?
Did you try to reset iSync history?
