We have uploaded employee photos in our HR system and we can see them in pa20.We would like to send them to PI system using IDOC.Please let me know how we can do that

Hi,
there is no possibility of sending images in Idoc to any other system.
your requirement might be sending the photos of employee to some some other ssytem Via PI.
PI can pick the images from your R3 Via FTP and can route it to the target system.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?

If you want to send a friendly message to your users, then you can do this by building an ABAP program that calls function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 . You can then insert this ABAP program in your process chain (using the ABAP program process type) or as a second step in your background job. With this technique, you can send an email to SAP users, or to external users (e..g Outlook email addresses)

You can test out the function module first in SE37 (just put the name of the FM and click execute). Testing it in SE37 will help you get your parameters right.

How to send photos as email attachments???

This is a ridiculously easy and simple question but I'm a mac newbie and can't figure out how to send photos as email attachments, not embed them in the body of the email. Every time I go to send a picture or group of pictures from i-photo an email message opens....the pictures are embedded in the body of the email and that's how they appear to receipients. In a test, I've sent them to a PC...the message comes through just fine but the photos don't have separate attachments that I can click on and "save as." they come through as bitmap files. Any ideas? THANK YOU.

It will not ALWAYS fix the problem that this topic is about; I had my Mail preferences set to send as Plain Text and it did not fix the problem. Additionally, since there is NOT an option in Iphoto as you previously noted, it might be confusing to some people.
However, for those of you who have the same problem, there seems to be a solution that worked for me. I also had the problem that Mail was overriding my sizing preference when I selected them in Iphoto (share > email) and always sending them as small instead of medium as I preferred.
Since it seems that sometimes Mail does not deploy the plain text default so you need to kick start it to remember. This is how I did it....
- Select the photos you want and hit SHARE > EMAIL in Iphoto
- Now, in Mail click on the photo browser button
- Find another photo in Iphoto via the browser and drag and drop it into the email that you're composing
- You'll see a size option appear in the bottom right hand corner
- Playing around with the sizing option a few times kicked it into gear and it seems to be working better since then

Why would an iPhone using iMessage be able to send photos to another iPhone using iMessage but not to a third iPhone?

I'm using an iPhone 6+ to send photos to my sister using iMessage. She has an iPhone 5C. We both see "blue" backgrounds on our outgoing messages and grey on incoming messages. We both send and receive photos successfully. However, with another sister, using an iPhone 5, we used to be able to do same until recently. Now our backgrounds for outgoing texts are "green" and if we have a photo in the message we get ''Undelivered" message. I've taken screenshots of my iMessage settings and she claims hers match mine. Are we missing something?

We want your phone working just as well now as it did before your trip, sngbrd9. Are you trying to send the pictures to other Apple users using iMessage or are they being sent through MMS/picture messaging? Are you able to send pictures one at a time to those same contacts without an error? Did you change any settings in your camera to have HDR now instead of a slightly lower resolution with a smaller file size?

Yes you can if you replace your email client with Adobe Email Service
Open the Organizer and Click Edit à Preferences à Sharing
Under Email settings click the dropdown menu and choose Adobe Email Service
Then enter your name and gmail address.
Obtain the verification code from adobe and paste it into the dialog to confirm.

Can't figure out how to send photos to outside lab

Hello, I am new to Apple products and have had my iMac desktop for one week.   I am not very computer savy to start with and it is so different from my old pc.   I also have a new camera - Nikon D7100 - so I am attempting to learn TWO new things. At least my camera came with a user's manual. With my iMac I am stumbling through trial and error and taking up way too much time.   I tried using iPhoto but ended up losing my photo library I started (somehow it just disappeared after a series of error messages saying it was attempting to repair the library). I ended up buying the Aperture app beause I want to be able to do more with photos for my art business. Now I am thinking iPhoto wasn't so bad, all except loosing my library, of course. It was very simple to use. But once I learn more I think I will appreciate Aperture and at least through Aperture I was able to have my photo library restored.   I do not have a good printer yet, however, so I am attempting to have an outside print lab download my pictures to have the prints mailed to me. (Note: I used to use Snapfish but didn't like my last batch of pics. Someone suggested Walgreen's Photo Lab.   Maybe someone has a better suggestion.)
However, I cannot download my pictures to any outside site because they said they must be in jpeg format. My camera is set to take ONLY jpeg photos right now - I need to master this before even attempting raw - so the problem must be on the software use end. When I transfer pics from my camera to my computer, Aperature (or is it thru iPhoto to Aperature I don't know) it gives them a name without a suffix attached. I see that they identify the photo as JPEG at the top of the Info screen and I can go in and change the name and make it SAY .jpeg but even then I cannot download it to an outside photo lab for the same reason - "must be in jpeg format."    Plus to change the name to include the suffix .jpeg I am having to do that one picture at a time - there must be an easier way. How do I make them all be .jpeg photos that can be recognized by outside photo labs?
I would be open to sending my pics to the Apple photo print lab but I can only figure out how to send ONE at a time and that seems very impractical so I am obviously doing something wrong there. How does the Apple photo lab compare to others?   How do I send a batch of photos at one time?
One other question not related to photos - With my p.c. I had a mouse that would let me right-click and move, copy or delete highlighted areas. I cannot find that function at all with my iMac. Is there a "right click" type of function on this computer? I have this cool touch-pad. No more mouse.   Sorry to be do dense. I need users manuals I guess. More hours.   I would appreciate any help so I can spend more time outside in my garden instead of hunched over my computer in frustration.   Thank you!
Oh, one more thing. I cannot figure out my operating system.   My iMac box says "Preinstalled OS X and iLife4" How can I find what version I have? That would be helpful.

As for iPhoto, it sounds like you were trying to move files around in the library. That is a bib no-no in Aperture or iPhoto.

I need to send a fax thru sap system. In the given parameter I need to give email address & fax number. The result is the content I shud receive as both email & fax.
As far as email is concerned no problem. But I am not receiving the content fax. I am getting the following error as email. Pls find below the error message.

Send routings to external system using ALE

Hey guys,
I am using ECC 6.0. Under tools->ALE->Master Data Distibution-> Logisitcs-> Bill of Material -> Routings i tried to send a routing to an external system which is already setup for many other types of master data. I get the error "Transaction code /SAPMP/SEROU cannot be executed" . I do not know how to fix it.
I also tried using transaction POIM but did not understand how to send the BOM along with routings and work centers in that T-code. I am able to send materials through that screen successfully but nothing else. If someone could help me out I would appreciate it.

AN issue regarding " Long Texts "(texts in accounting document).
1) Am using RFBIBL00( Direct Input method ) to transfer Accounting Documents.
2) I need to Update "Texts" both Header & line item for accounting document using Direct input method.
3)I tried to append a custom 'Z' include, that calls SAVE_TEXT function module, in program RFBIBL00 to save texts for the respective Accounting document.But the performance is very low.
4)If I use direct input program /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS or /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_SXDA_TEXTS how will it save texts to document, before it is created , since we are still in LSMW that just generates .CONV file , but it might not create account document number, once the .Conv file goes to RFBIBL00, account document gets generated .
5)another major issue am encountering is , if one of a document fails (error) how about updating texts.How i send text to BDC in this case.
My queries are :
a) Is there any other way to update texts using Direct input method ?
b)Can I integrate, direct input program RSTXLITF with RFBIBL00, is that feasible, will i be able to save texts with out any performance issues ?
I would really appreciate if am given some suggestions or solutions for the above case.

Maybe you can try to solve the communication between the systems via IDOC.
There's a standard IDOC designed for TRs ("WMTRID01"):

SAP online help mentions this IDOC belongs to message type "WMREQ" and you should assign it (message type) to inbound partner profile. So, you need some development in order to be able to use it for outbound process.
