How to send pictures from cell phones to Mac?

I have a LG VX8300 from verizon. I am wondering how i can send the pictures i have taken from the phone to my computer.

Use BlueTooth assistant (from the pane in System Preferences) to pair your 'phone if you haven't already done it.
Easiest way is turn BT on in your 'phone, open BlueTooth File Exchange (in the Utilities folder) on the Mac, press the "Browse" button to connect it up to the 'phone.
Then navigate to the folder containg the pictures on the 'phone, select them and press the Get button to transfer them over to your Mac.

You can use Bluetooth, or messaging, email, direct wifi with SuperBeam, NFC, SmartShare....many ways. Go to the gallery and tap the photo you want to share. Tap the share button and a list will pop up of ways to send.

I want to learn how to send pictures from my camera via e-mail but the CD asks me to log in as an administrator before I can download the handbook to tell me how to send pictures.

That's works but I have also used ES File Explorer and my home's wireless network to copy files from the phone to the shared My Documents folder on both of my computers. I usually employ this option when I'm too lazy to walk upstairs to get usb cord from OEM charger.

I just installed my new HP Officejet Pro 8900. So far every thing is working great except when I sent a picture from my I-phone 5, the picture printed the full size of the 8 1/2 x 11 page. Not only do I NOT want a picture that big but I do not want to go thru that much ink. How do I change the picture size to a 4 x 6 or 5 x 7?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as part of the reason I bought this printer was so I could e-print. I take and print a lot of pics from my phone, I was hoping to avoid having to e-mail pictures to computer in order to print.

Airdrop is the best answer for sending photos between iOS devices.
For iOS to Mac and vice versa, an app called Instashare is quite good, and works a bit like Airdrop (you send the photos from the app, and run instashare on the device you want to send to)
I hope in time Apple will support Airdrop on mac, too.

MMS messages -- no. Email -- yes.
So, to send a photo, pick the photo and tap the little icon with an arrow at the lower left. It'll bring up an email with the photo attached. Send it to an email address, or if you want ot send to a phone, send it to the [email protected] for an at&t user, or for other carriers do a search on this board and you'll find the correct address for them.
To receive a photo, just ask the sender to send it to your email address. If they send it to your phone number, you'll get a text that gives you a login and password for a website to go see your message, viewmymessage.com, which is a pain in the neck but it does work.
For video, the same applies, except that you can't send video because the iphone doesn't store videos at this time.

What Cell phone do you have? I have the LG Lucid phone which is an android phone and just use the usb cable to transfer the files. I also have dropbox that I will use from time to time as well. I have to set the connectivity setting to Mass Storage to be able to transfer files and photos. The media sync option only works if you have Windows. When I first plug the phone in, Mac will tell me that the device is not compatible and will ask if I want to eject or ignore it. When the phone is first plugged in, it tries to run as an installer so Mac doesn't like it. Once I ignore it, the phone then becomes a storage device and will show both the internal and the external SD card on my desktop. I can then use the standard copy and paste methods to move files from the phone to the drive or you can use iPhoto or other photo progams to copy them. I have picassa on the system that I use to get photos.

1. Create Album (Folder) in Dropbox using Quickoffice or computer
2. Tap Upload on bottom left in Dropbox on iPad

4. Select photo/photos you wish to transfer to Dropbox
5. Select destination Album (Folder) on bottom left

That type of bluetooth connection (profile) is not supported by your iPod Touch. See this article for list of profiles that supported.
