How to send progess info to the LMS

My organization is new to Captivate 7 and we're having a problem with our first course. We currently use a Meridian LMS and have been using OutStart Evolution to create content.
We are having problems with a small percentage of our learners not getting credit for the course. We've eliminated the simple problems (e.g. closing the course with the red X instead of the Exit button), but now our LMS technical people believe that the problem might be that our Captivate course, unlike Evolution, isn't sending parsing information on the course's progress after each slide but is instead waiting until the learner selects the "Exit" button at the end of the course and then sending it all at once. The thought is that the course is shutting down before the handshake for the information transfer is complete and the LMS isn't getting the right information that the learner has actually successfully completed the course.
Does anyone recognize this issue and, if so, is there something we should be doing when building the course in Captivate to alleviate this problem?

You will need to show us screenshots of your settings in the Quiz Settings dialog, especially those settings that relate to SCORM.
It sounds like you may not have things set up properly.

You can have a partner function like 'Created by' and use an exit to populate the User ID to this partner function(dont have the system right now but i think this can be done with standard partner detr. procedure also)
Then, create an Output type for that Partner function with transmission medium as 'External Send'. You can use the standard SAP program to trigger the email. To send the actual email after the output is trigerred, the link connection has to be set up be BASIS but if you want to check, then goto SOST and see if the email got trigerred or not.

Go to the table CRMD_ORDERADM_H give your trnsaction( Activity ) no in the OBJECT_ID field, you will get GUID corresponding to the transaction.
Pass the GUID in the SMOATTACHLNK Table in the PARENTID field, then you will get PHIO_ID.
Pass PHIO_ID in the table CRMORDERPHIO Table in the field PHIO_ID, then you will get LOIO_ID.
Finally pass youe LOIO_ ID into CRMORDERLOIO table in the field LOIO_ID then you will get how many attachments are there for particula transaction

If you want to give him a really clean new laptop, the best thing to do would be to erase it (or secure erase it, if there's stuff on there you don't want being found if the machine were to get stolen or something) and reinstall the system from scratch
If you want a simpler method, it's probably easiest to just securely delete anything sensitive (put it in the trash and choose Finder -> Secure Empty Trash) and then create a new user for your son. Make him an admin user, then log in as him and delete your old user, making sure to tell it to delete your user folder when asked. Of course, you'll want to make sure your data is safely stored away elsewhere first!
As far as applications go, if they were bought from the App Store, you can legally use them on multiple machines in your household, but you could also delete them by just dragging them to the trash. For other apps, if they required an installer, look for an uninstaller provided by the company that made the app. If not, just drag it to the trash.

I am working on a process consisting of 2 activities :-
    - Creation of a Proposal by the Employee
    - Evaluation & Approval of Proposal by the Manager
I have these 2 doubts :-
    - I need to send a notification to the manager on creation of a proposal. How do i go about it???
    - Also i need to send a notification to the user regarding the approval or rejection of the proposal.
Should i create a Callable Object in GP and add that in the Action Create Proposal???
please guide me regarding the same.

·        A local installation of Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher or a full version of Adobe Acrobat 7.0.
You can download Adobe Reader for free from the Adobe web site.
Depending on your requirements, you may also need to configure specific composite form properties.
Apart from that, if you have a ready composite form created previously, you can upload it by checking the Field-Based Template checkbox in the beginning of the wizard for creating composite form.Thus, the wizard does not make you create a new one from scratch, but rather upload your own.

Help with How to permanently store info in the MY Ratings field

Info that I enter into the My Ratings field in iTunes is lost when I remove the songs from the Music Library (iTunes window) or copy my music files to another computer. I don't understand what is going on here or why anyone (at Apple) would design iTunes to work in this way.
I want to know if there is a way to store the My Ratings info in a way that it will reload into the Music Library (iTunes window) and show up with my music in the same way that the artist, album and track names show up when the music files are reloaded into the music library or copied to another computer.
If this issue has been previously addressed somewhere else in the forum, I would appreciate a pointer to the discussion topic for it.

I have found applescripts on the web that I have used to successfully input info into the Category and Description fields....but the data in these fields also disappear once the songs have been removed from the music library
Applescript makes it possible to edit tags which are not editable using the iTunes GUI. However, Applescript sends commands to iTunes, so the tag information is stored the 'iTunes-way'.
All information which is not stored in the tags is stored in the 'iTunes Library' file. Some information, like Ratings, is also stored in the 'iTunes Music Library.xml' file and exported song lists.
This article gives some information about the library files, but isn't specific about which information is saved in either file.
I know from experience that ratings re-appear when a song is 'added' to the library by importing it from a previously exported song list (stores information like the 'iTunes Music Library'.xml file). The songs in the list that were already in the library, will not have their ratings changed. Also comments re-appear.
My library is on an external disk and when I switch to another computer, I just copy the 'iTunes Library' file. That retains all information.
If you copy the entire iTunes folder to the same location at another computer, then it works like Shyguy01 said.
