How to send STRG+ALT+DELETE throug ARD to a Win 2000 Server

Hello,
Just stuck, how do I send STRGALTDELETE through ARD via VNC-connection to a Win 2000 Server?
Had to restart the machine, but cannot log in now. Thanks for your help.

The CoRD/RDC is the route I'd go, by the way, since it works very well. It's one thing MS has included with Windows which Apple should have years ago.

In a personal computer with the Windows operating system, Ctrl-Alt-Delete is the combination of keyboard keys that the computer user can press at the same time to terminate an application task or to reboot the operating system (have it shut down and restart itself). In Windows 95 or any later systems, Ctrl-Alt-Delete brings up a window that allows a user to see the status of all currently running programs and to terminate any of them, and also offers the options of shutting down, restarting, and so on (the specific options vary slightly with the particular version of windows). In Windows 95 or 98, if Ctrl-Alt-Delete is pressed a second time or twice in a row quickly, the operating system closes all programs that are running and then restarts.
When the operating system seems to hang suspended while waiting for an application program to continue, a user is also left without a way to regain control of the system. The Ctrl-Alt-Delete key combination allows the user to terminate the "hung" application and, if that doesn't work, to reboot the system. The system can also be restarted using the mouse to select Start-->Turn Off the System-->Restart. However, Ctrl-Alt-Delete sometimes works when the menu option doesn't.

How do you Control Alt Delete on mac Book Pro keyboard when using VM Ware?

This must be the stupidest question I'll ever have to ask...but....normally in the office I have a separate mac keyboard/screen/mouse and log into Windows via VM Ware. I am using the latest Mac Book Pro model. I have to click on the window and press Control Alt Delete before I log in. This works fine until the day I was out of the office and had to press Control Alt Delete via the Mac Book Pro's own keyboard and nothing happened. I passed the laptop over to 2-3 other mac friendly people and we all were left scratching our heads.
Can anyone shed some light on this??

Turned up another Apple Discussions post that said to press  + U at the ctrl-alt-del prompt to bring up the 'visually challenged' tools, and to turn on the on-screen keyboard. This should allow you to log in, then once you are in, remap the keys to something more convenient, maybe assigning the right-hand-side command key to DEL. Unfortunately, I haven't used a Windows PC in ages, so I can't tell you how to do this.
On a related note, I've just discovered that I don't have an  key on my MBP. You learn something new every day!

How do you control alt delete on a mac?

My MacBook air has frozen when using keynote for a presentation. Usually on a PC I would do ctrl alt delete to end that program. How do you do that on a mac? Pressing esc doesn't help. The only thing that works in holding down the power switch and rebooting but that surely cannot be the solution? Help!

"Force quit".
You can get there by pressing option-command-escape.
Or via the Apple Menu.
Or via the various "Stop" commands in Activity Monitor (in your Utilities folder).
Or by clicking and holding on the dock icon of a hung-up process, or pressing option while clicking and holding on a dock icon of a normal process.
There are other things, too, e.g., Terminal commands, but the above usually suffice.

Can't send cntrl-alt-delete to start PC remotely via Mac

I am using Symantec PC Anywhere software and even when I try the Mac equivalent of cntl-alt-delete the PC I am trying to connect to doesn't recognize the command. (Once I am in, the connection works fine). Any suggestions? Is there a better program out there to connect to a PC remotely via Mac?

Are you running Windows on the Mac (via Boot Camp, or Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion) or is pcAnywhere CrossPlatform Remote (or something similar) used under Mac OS X?

Just guessing here (I do not know whether the command in question will work at all when used via said remote control program). Would it be correct to assume that you have noticed the difference between the delete keys on a PC and a Mac (the delete key on a Mac is the same as backspace on a PC). You may want to have a look at this article (and perhaps this one).
Is there a better program out there to connect to a PC remotely via Mac?
When working under Mac OS X, could something like this (or maybe one of the programs here) possibly be of interest?

How to send an idoc of lower release to an External RFC server

Hi All,
I am sending idocs from the sap system to an external rfc server(written using Sap RFC SDK).
When an idoc is sent from the Sap system, I receive an IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS call in the external RFC server with the Idoc data.
Everything works fine with the latest release of idocs. But if I send an Idoc of lower release number, I am getting the data records properly for the lower release(say 640). But the DOCREL field (in the control record- EDI_DC40) always gives me the latest release number(700)
In my partner profile, I specify the Segment release number to 640 and even then I am receiving the value 700 in DOCREL.
What am I missing here? How can I populate the DOCREL field with the appropriate release number?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have defined in the port definition giving the path name refering to unix like /outbound/<system name>/<directory name>. But I dont know how to define for C:\temp\, if I define the same way as c:\temp\ do I need define anything anywhere else ?

If you want to send the instance message to user who is already logged into the system use
Tcode SE37Select Functional Module TH_POPUP>click on test/Execute tab
In the next screen provide the information like client..User..What is the message you want to send and then execute
The next second user can see this message on SAP screen

I want to know that is it possible to send PUT, DELETE request (practically) through java.net.httpURLConnection to http based URL. I have read so many articles describing that how to send GET, POST, TRACE, OPTIONS request but still not finding any sample code which successfully perform PUT and DELETE request. Can any one give idea regarding that?

ThanksIt's technically possible I am sure but 100% impractical because almost nobody uses an HTTP server for that purpose. I don't know what HTTP servers actually implement PUT and DELETE but you can be sure even in those that do the behaviour is off by default.
If you need to do PUT/DELETE sort of operations you should be using FTP.

I have a new iPad Air and in using the App Store, it seems frozen with an app that I didn't want. I cannot look at other apps in the store or anything. How do I unfreeze it? Something equivalent to Control Alt Delete with Window.
