How to separate/Decentralize a SLD in SAP PI 7.3?

Hi Experts;
I have one central SLD for PID and PIQ, because during installation of PIQ was connected to SLD of the PID. My requirement is one SLD for PID and other for PIQ.

Hi Alberto - I think you just need to adjust the below pointers.
NWA: config->connectivity->destinations
SLD_Client and SLD_DataSupplier -> to your quality system details
Config ->infra->java system properties->services-> XPI Service: All.adjust the values of the below properties*connect*cr* && *landscape* -> change these details to Quality

Configuration Steps
The configuration steps that you need to perform depend on the type of system. The following system types are relevant for the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD):
· SAP technical systems
The following SAP systems do not need to be configured manually since they automatically register themselves in the SLD:
¡ SAP Basis systems as of Release 4.0B
¡ All SAP Web AS ABAP systems
¡ SAP Web AS Java systems as of Release 6.40
You do not need to maintain data about SAP software components and products that a system contains since their data already exists in the component repository, which is delivered with the SLD. SAP technical systems automatically register themselves and report data about their installed products to the SLD by means of data supplier programs. However, if you cannot use the data supplier programs (if your Support Package level is too low, for example), you have to define SAP technical systems manually. For more information, see Manually Registering SAP Web AS ABAP Systems.
Other SAP systems (business systems, for example), which have to be registered manually.
· Third-party systems
If you have installed third-party (technical or business) systems in your system landscape, you have to register them manually in the SLD. This includes maintaining data about the software components and software products that they contain.

Problem in File dialog Box ,why it is hidden how to get it on top of sap

It is hidden how to get it on top of sap

I am having a similar problem. However, the fileDialog only shows up behind SAP occasionally. I am running each ona separate thread and have tried passing a blank form as the parent (as was suggested), but the problem persists.

SLD in SAP PI

Hi All,
I started working on PI recently. I did not understand the SLD concept well and need your help.
Is SLD a separate server from SAP PI server or is it part of SAP PI server?
Will this SLD will come along with SAP PI installation or its a separate installation?
Please correct me if I am understanding the SLD in wrong way and if I am wrong with the terminology.And I have heard of Master SLD or Central SLD. Please let me know about this and the differences between local and central sld and suggest me some basic documents to understand SLD in SAP PI.

"The SLD is a server application that communicates with a client application by using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)"
Server application is nothing but the SAP server, every SAP server has it's own SLD which can be treated as local SLD. it will use HTTP communication to interact with the Client's nothing but the other SAP and non-SAP systems which are configured in your SLD.

there are 4 types of Technical and business systems in available in SLD.
Web AS ABAP : used for configuring SAP systems like SRM, CRM etc
Web AS Java : used for java systems consist of one or more instances.
Third-party : used for configuring non-SAP systems like Oracle, SQL server, Web-services etc
Stand alone Java: used for java systems that are installed on a system from an administrative perspective.

How register the ECC to SLD

I know the we could use RZ70 to register the ABAP system to SLD
but it seems RZ70 only could register it as the technical system in SLD
but i am wondering is it possible to register the client as the business system in SLD?
let's say: ECC host is erp, and the client is 100, how to register ERPCLNT100 into SLD automatically???

How to separate enter GR and return in invoice verification

Hi: guys
I have completed GR for purchase order, and then, vendor send me invoice. however, during invoice check, warehouse return goods to this vendor. so I just want enter GR item excluding the new return item. but sap system automatically propose total Qtys/amounts. I cann't manually change Qtys/amounts.
everybody can tell me how to separate enter GR and return in invoice verification.
someday suggest me use return PO and 161 movetype to deal with this problem. however, I not think this is a good solution.

well the main point of u r problem is that u r not able to change the qyantity /value in invoice
but system should allow u to change the quantity and vlaue as per standard sap settings
i think u r user profile is not authorized to do so.........chek the authorization for miro
u can aslo ue invoice reduction option in miro
suppose u r vendor invoice u for 100 pc but u have recived only 89 pc as 20 pc u have already returned then u can use invoice reduction option to change the quantity and value and in this case sytem will genrate the credit memo and invoice
100 pc invoice
20 pc credit memo
and ultiamtely u have posted 80 pc invoice

*The overall runtime can be split into 5 different parts (Database, OLAP, MDX, RFC and
WebIntelligence) .
*We have to gather the statistics in the SAP BW system. Use transaction SE16 (Data Browser)
and go to table RSDDSTAT_OLAP
*Enter User name and UTIME and calendar date object name (Bex query)
*Press the execute button and you will get the table with all the statistics in SAP BW. Now, you
have to separate the backend runtimes into database, OLAP and MDX runtime.
*Gathering the Database Runtime
Click on the header of the column “EVENTID” to mark the whole column. Set a filter by pressing
and select the between range from 9000 to 9011.
*Gathering the OLAP Runtime
Click on the header of the column “EVENTID” to mark the whole column. Set a filter by pressing
and select the between range from 2500 to 4999.
*Gathering MDX runtime
Click on the header of the column “EVENTID” to mark the whole column. Set a filter by pressing
and select the between range from 40000 to 40036.
*Gathering the Single Statistical Records STAD
To get the memory consumption, Remote Function Calls (RFC) and the details about all the BAPIs
called during report execution, we need to enter transaction STAD in SAP BW.
When starting STAD, set a filter on the connection user for the Universe and select the appropriate
start time and the length of the interval to be investigated (according to the total runtime of the report).
This will return a set of RFC calls to the backend. Normally, the major runtime influencing part can be
easily determined by the column “Response time (ms).
Subtract all this times from Webi report refresh time , we get time taken at BO end.

How to change the default operators in sap web ui Search screen?
For eg. Using advance search option , I have some fields with default operators like equals, contains,is between, is less than and is greater than. I don't need all these operators for this field.
I need only "equals" operator. How do i remove the rest of the operators?

There is a view cluster crmvc_dq where all the standard setting is present related to you r issue. Please try if you can modify that, that way you will avoid the code.
Incase you are not able to make any changes there then in that case you have to redefine the method GET_DQUERY_DEFINITION () of the IMPL class to delete the operators for a particular serach field.

Hi,
Usually it can be determined using the field shkzg. If it contain 'S' its debit and if it contains 'H' then its credit.
Before showing the amount you need to do like;
IF wa_gl-shkzg = 'H'.
wa_gl-dmbtr = wa_gl-dmbtr * (-1). " dbmtr - amount
ENDIF.
This will solve your problem.
