How to serialize the txt file?

HI, part of my program is as followings:
FileInputStream f = new FileInputStream ("c:/test1.txt");
ObjectInputStream s =new ObjectInputStream (f);
but,there is an exception when debugging when it runs to second line above.I think this is the problem of the "c:/test1.txt" file which is created by myself.
I just want to realize the function of reading a txt file from the drive.What shall I do?

What if I want to read the whole text? Hi.
Just put the reading in a loop:
BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(new File("C:\file.txt")));
String line = br.readLine();
while (line != null) {
  System.out.println(line);
  line = br.readLine();  // returns null if EOF
