How to set a consistent footnote in pages 09?

Hi people,
I am currently writing a business report in Pages 09.
I want to have on all pages the same footnote and headnote.
Now, I have some stuff in the foot and head line of the first page and attached the style to it - but i did not anyything to set this to have the same text in every the footnote to every page, didnt also find it in the manuals - can you help?
thanks!

My guess is that your document is organized in sections and, for some reason, you asked the program to use different header/footer in the second section.
Using the setting displayed here you will get the same footer in every pages.

    Hi,
    "cookie" is a reserved name. If you want to write to a session scope attribute called "cookie" then you have to call #{sessionScope.cookie}. If you want to use EL to set and read from cookies then you will have to use
    #{cookie.cookieName}
    Note that #{cookie} writes to and returns a map

  • How to set the bind variable on page load and execute query ?

    Hi All,
    I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5
    I have a table called "Employee"
    Columns :- id , name , location
    Data :- 1, ,james , chicago
    2 ,Raj ,capetown
    Now i have another webservice(created as a webservice dataControl) which sends me the "id" on each time my page loads.Now the id which has been returned by webservice should be incorporated in my VO Query as in where clause to fetch the data for the respective "id" in that "Employee" table and should be rendered on form.
    Eg :- Id "2" has been sent by the webservice then the record should be fetched from database should be "2","raj","capetown".
    I know that there would be necessity of bind variable , but how do i set the bind variable on page load ?
    How can i use the bind variable appropriately ??
    Please suggest !!!!

    Hi.
    I already know how to set a perspective for an item but I didn't find how to do this for a whole page.
    Does somebody knows how to do that ?
    Thanks
    Donald

    That would be a great place to put the Perspective, but I only found the Category.
    However there's the Pages and the Items tabs in a Perspective page.
    I really don't know where they put this...

    You can set the page in the current tab as only home page if you drag the tab or icon (website's favicon) that you see on the left hand side of the location bar or the toolbar Home button that has been moved to the far right of the Navigation Toolbar.
    Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.

  • How to set a template to multiple pages

    Hello,
    I'm using Oracle Portal 10.1.2.0.2 and I've created a hiearchy of pages and a template with regions for banner, navigation portlet and content area and I want to set up this template to multiple pages. Manually and uncomfortably, I can edit my page and in [Template] tab in [Properties] select my template. But how can I do it for example for a whole page group? Default template for page group doesn't work for me - though I've set up it in page group, in a particular page I still see [Page template]=none with no effect. Is it possible to do it through some sql query? (With specification of region, in which the page will be mapped?)
    Thank you for your advice,
    tb

    Observation:
    Pages from one page group can't see templates from another page group. In case of multiple page groups I have to put my templates in [Shared objects]. Unfortunately I didn't find a way (if even exists) how to copy template from one page group to another, especially to shared objects :(

  • How to set default font color in Pages

    I don't know why. I did a standard clean install of iWork 08. In Pages, everytime I select to insert a text box, the color of the font defaults to brown rather than black. It's a pain to change it to black all the time. Also I noticed that when I select to insert a line, it also defaults to brown. Any thoughts on why this is happening as the default color and how to fix it?
    Also, almost evertime I do the option click on the text box icon to draw a text box, the cursor changes to the crosshair but the box allows me to draw the with size, but the length of the column automatically can't be drawn- it extends instead all the way off the bottom of the page. In other words I can't really draw the text box to the size I need. I'm new to Pages.

  • How to set a consistent Framerate

    Hi, I'm making a top view racing game and I need to set the framerate to 30fps. I have tried the method in this game: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pars/pacman/pac.zip
    Although I am successfully in getting a consistent 30fps, my game stalls for a very brief moment every second because of the autocorrection. Is there a better method that I can get a smooth game with 30fps?

    This is perhaps the easiest method...
    while (true) {
    doFrameLogic();
    renderFrame();
    /**sleep the thread if we are going above 50 frames per second*/
             try {
                  if (System.currentTimeMillis() - lastFrameTime < 20) {
                    Thread.sleep(20
                                    - (System.currentTimeMillis() - lastFrameTime));
                      fps = 50;
                  } else {
                        fps = (int) (1000
                                    / (System.currentTimeMillis() - lastFrameTime));
                } catch (Exception e) {}
    }Of course change the 20 value of how long you sleep for how many frames you want to max it at, 30 frames per second would be total of 33 ms for a frame
