That depends on what you mean. If you mean two iTunes Store accounts, no. Only one Apple ID can be logged into the iTunes Store at a time and if automatic download, iTunes Match or re-downloading of content is used the ID can not be changed for 90 days.

So i guess if i solve my goof up on creating different apple IDs and setting her phone as a new one .. according to you that shall do the trick.
But i have a question here in that case what happens to all the applications that have been purchased on my Id ? Wont i be needing them to be purchased/downloaded again in the new id?
If you previously had been using the same Apple ID for iTunes Store purchases for both of you there is no reason to change what you've been doing. If this is your wife's first iPhone, and you want to share the iTunes Store account just don't use the new Apple ID you created. As long as there are no purchases on it there's nothing to worry about.

  • How to set the sampling interval using DAQ device?

Now I have a capacity sensor and a 24 bit DAQ device (http://www.mccdaq.com/usb-data-acquisition/USB-2404-10.aspx).
The DAQ device has the maximum sampling rate of 50kS/s . My question is how to set the interval of data collection. For example, if I set the sampling rate to 2000, in continuous sampling mode, I use DAQmx read.vi in a while loop and set the 'number of samples per channel' to 100. I want to plot these data as a function of time by using a XY graph and also save these data. So I add a 'Mean' function to get the average of the 100 samples per each loop (than means, there are 20 data output per second). But when I set the 'number of samples per channel' much smaller (to get more data per second), there are some problems. It seems that the program cannot read so many data and get the average at a higher frequency. I don't know where the problem is. All in all, how to collect data more frequently?Maybe I didn't express my question clearly. I'll upload a simple program later if necessary. Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Another question is in continuous mode, NI DAQmx uses Samples per channel to determine the buffer size. But according to the website you specified, it says if the acquisition is continuous (sample mode on the DAQmx Timing.vi is set to Continuous Samples), NI-DAQmx will allocate a buffer according to the following table. And for sample rate between 100 - 10,000 S/s, the buffer size is 10 kS. So if I set the sample rate to be 5000 S/s, and set the Samples per channel to be 20000, then what exactly the buffer size is? 20 kS or 10 kS?
    Thanks.

I can setup a simplified USB keypad device using NI-VISA Raw mode but I can't seem to read interupt data from the device. Basically, I want to be able to push a button on the USB keypad device and then read the output hex code using LabVIEW. Do I have to further configure my device through NI-VISA in order to read the device output?

  • How to set the default DVD Burner (output device) in DVDSP 4.2.2

For the life of me I can't find that click - default DVD Burner (output device) - but I can see where you can set it under both Build/Format and Format. Too bad it always goes back to the superdrive, which I never use. Thx!

ha! So I am not crazy on this one. The strange thing is that every once in a while when I open DVDSP, the external burner has become the default, and I can use the Burn click, but only until I do a reboot or shutdown. But obviously then there is nothing in the interface for setting a default. jvenzon, If you do a format and build you can choose, which is what I do each time, remembering to change the Destination to the external drive. Then say "reuse" when asked, and I think that does what the Burn click would do anyway. Cheers,

  • How to set acknowledgement flag in asynchronous message

    Hello,
I just read in the documenation that it is possible to request acknowlegment messages by setting an "acknowledgement tag" in the request message.
My question now is how to set this acknowledgement tag and which rules I have to follow? Do you have any more information on this topic? I see the flags in "ReliableMessaging" but not sure how to set them.
    Thank you.

  • How to set "Identity" of the MDM Payload from iPhone Configuration Utility?

Does anybody know how to set the "Identity" of the Mobile Device Management (MDM) payload of a Configuration Profile from iPhone Configuration Utility (iPCU)? The description says that this is the "Cryptographic credential used for authentication" and I should "Add credentials in the Credentials payload". Any help is appreciated.

The Identity field in the MDM payload section of a configuration profile can only be set AFTER you have set the correct credential in the Credentials section. If you have set the correct credential in the Credentials section, then you will (in my experience) only have one choice for Identity in the MDM payload section. It will be the correct choice fortunately.
To set the correct credential in the Credentials section of the configuration profile, you must have a valid personal certificate in the Windows certificate store. If you have a valid personal certificate in the Windows certificate store it will show up in the (very long) list of certificates you can choose from when you click on  Configure in the Credentials section.
You should be prompted for the password for 'exporting your identity'. Fill in both boxes and then click on OK. The set the password again. Yes, the password must be entered three times.
At this point you can go back to the MDM payload section and everything should be OK.
Note that my comments only apply to Windows. My system is Windows 7. However, only version of Windows probably works the same.

  • How can I change the geo tag of an image in iPhoto '11?

A lot of my old photos either have no geo tag, or have incorrect tags (apparently I took some pictures in the middle of the Yellow Sea).
So, how do I change or at least erase the geo tag for one or more photos?  I've tried "Rescan Location" and nothing happens.

And did you look at iPhoto help on adding places?
    Add places to your photos
If you have photos that don’t have GPS information, including print photos that were scanned to a disk, you can still map your photos in Places.
    https://help.apple.com/iphoto/mac/help/index.html?lang=en#
Watch the movie (about 2 minutes)
View and organize photos using Places
iPhoto matches recognizable location names you enter, such as “Seattle” or “Milan,” to a mapping database. When you add a location to a single photo or an entire Event, those photos are marked on the Places map.
Or, if you have latitude and longitude information for the place where you shot your photos, you can use that information to add the location.
Important:  You must be connected to the Internet for the Places feature to show photo locations on the map.
    Hide
    To add a place name:
Select the photo or Event you want to add location information to.Tip:  If you select an Event, the location is added to every photo in that Event. But you can add locations to selected photos without adding locations to them all. To do so, select the photos you want, move your pointer over them, and then click the Info button. Skip to step 3.
Click the Info button in the toolbar to open the Information pane.
Select “Assign a Place” and start typing the location name to see the related names iPhoto suggests. You can type city names, place names (such as “Empire State Building”), and addresses (such as “12345 Main St., Lincoln, NE”).Note:  If no locations appear, check to make sure that iPhoto is set to look up locations.
As related names appear, do one of the following:
If you see the location you want appear in the pop-up menu, choose it. iPhoto marks your selected location with a red marker pin on the map in the Information pane.
If you don’t see the exact location you want in the pop-up menu, choose a location that’s nearby. For example, if you took a photo of a star at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, you can type “Hollywood” into the location field and then choose the Hollywood, California, option from the pop-up menu. Then go to step 5.A red marker pin appears in the map in the Information pane.
To fine-tune the location, you can click the marker pin (it turns yellow) and drag it to a different location, such as a neighboring town, or a more specific location, such as a particular intersection. You can click the plus and minus buttons to zoom in or out, and drag the map to show a different area.To center the map on the pin, click the circle icon.Note:  You can move marker pins only in the small map that appears below Places in the Information pane. You can’t drag marker pins on the full-size Places map.
When you’re satisfied with the location as it appears in the Information pane, click the arrow next to the location name to view the marker on the full Places map.
HideTo use latitude and longitude to add a place:
Select the photo or Event you want to add location information to.Tip:  If you select an Event, the location is added to every photo in that Event. But you can add locations to selected photos without adding locations to them all. To do so, select the photos you want, move your pointer over them, and then click the Info button. Skip to step 3.
Click the Info button to open the Information pane.
Select “Assign a Place,” and then type the latitude and longitude, separated by a comma. For example, you can type “24, -110” or, if you prefer, you can use a longer format, such as “24.15988731, -110.50838234.”It’s important to always put the latitude first.
Look at the map to confirm the location, and then do one of the following:
If the location is correct, continue to step 5.
If the location is incorrect, retype the latitude and longitude, or drag the pin to a more exact location on the map.You can use the plus and minus buttons to zoom in and out, and drag the map to center it on a better spot.Note:  You can move marker pins only in the small map that appears below Places in the Information pane. You can’t drag marker pins on the full-size Places map.
If you want, you can view the location marked on the full Places map by clicking the arrow next to the location name.
HideTo copy the location of one photo to other photos:You can copy the location of one photo to another photo or photos.
Select a photo that has the location assigned to it that you want to copy, and then choose Edit > Copy.
Select one or more photos that you want to assign the same location to, and choose Edit > Paste Location. The location is added to the photos, which you can then view using Places.

  • How do I view my pics on a screen sized map based on geo tag like I could in iPhoto?

In iPhoto I was able to view an entire Event or album on a map with pins showing where each of the pics was geo tagged.  In Photos now all I can view is a very small 2 inch square map.  Is it possible to view a grouping of pics in Photos but on a large screen size map?  Do I need an additional app to do this?

    You still can (kind of).
If you open the Photos app and you are in Albums, tap Photos. In Photos, pictures are auto-grouped as Events based on location and date. If you see the location listed, that is tappable. Tap it, and that reveals the map where the photos were taken.
The one thing I don't know is how to see all photos by location. Because the most you can zoom out by time is Years, which means you can only see all photos taken by location within a single year, but not all years. I hope there's a way that I just haven't learned yet.

  • Tecra All Models - How to set Asset Tag

    Hello,
For the past year we have used a tool to set the asset tag on toshiba notebooks. It runs from an external floppy drive, but the disk is overwritten en we do not have any copies of this tool.
I am pretty sure one of my colleagues downloaded this tool from the toshiba site but we are unable to find it anywhere. Can someone provide a download link or an alternative tool wich is able to set and display a notebook's asset tag.
The commands we used in this tool are
    assettag /da
    assettag /sa
    Hope you can help
    Kind Regards,

    Thanks for your answers.
We tried to undelete the content of the overwritten floppy but we were not able to restore all data. We did manage to restore some text files, htm file and a diz file. I'll post the content below.
As you can see there a comments that suggest that this is indeed a toshiba tool. Perhaps someone reading this has better searching skills then i do.

SM BIOS Asset Tag Utility Version 1.02.1
Copyright (c) 1999 Toshiba America Information System. All rights reserved.
The SM BIOS Asset Tag Utility displays a variety of useful data fields from the SM BIOS. In addition, is capable of setting or changing the value of the asset tag field of the SM BIOS. Since the asset tag field is in the BIOS, the hard disk may be reformatted and reinstalled without effecting the field's contents.
This program is a command line, non-interactive program, suitable for use in batch files and other automated environments. It is a real mode DOS program, and can not be run in pure 32 bit environments such as Windows NT.
    usage: ASSETTAG <switch> [string]
    Switch
    Usage
    /DA
    Display asset tag string
    /DM
    Display system manufacturer string
    /DP
    Display model string
    /DC
    Display chassis serial number string
    /DS
    Display system serial number string
    /SA <string>
    Write asset tag string
    /F <filename>
Write asset tag string based on contents of specified serial number - asset tag mapping file (see format below).
The Asset Tag has a maximum length of 31 bytes.
    Examples:
    ASSETTAG /SA 12345
ASSETTAG /SA "123 456" (quotes to embed spaces.)
    ASSETTAG /F ATLIST.DAT
The /F switch specifies that the asset tag to be written to the BIOS should be obtained from a file, the name of which is given as a parameter following the /F switch. This file contains a list of serial numbers and asset tags in the format:
Serial number white space Asset tag
Each line should contain a system serial number, with no leading white space. Following the serial number, one or more white space characters (space or tab) delimit the serial number from the start of the asset tag. The first following non-white space character is taken to be the start of the asset tag, which will continue until the end of the line. Thus, asset tags may not begin with white space, but can contain almost any character thereafter.
    For example:
    12345678 FA99485
    TE992837 ACCT992
    30899283 Loaner Unit
If the lines above were placed in a file and used by the assettag program, then a PC with the serial number of 12345678 would be set with the tag FA99485. A PC with the serial number 30899283 would be set with the asset tag value of Loaner Unit.
    Kind Regards,
