How to set a menu as a top or root one

Hello to all,
I am using Encore CS5.1
1)The problem.
I would like to set the first menu in the sequence as the "Root menu" (or "Top menu" depending on the remote control).
Unfortunately in the DVD I have made each time I click on the key "Top menu" the DVD comes back to a submenu.
2)The details
Let's look at the following flowchart.
I would like to transform the menu "Nicole_et_JP" (yellow circle) as the "Top menu". The problem is that when I click on the "Top menu" key on my remote control the DVD player goes to "C_etait_nous_menu" (red circle).
Maybe the numbers B2 (for the first one) and B1 (for the second one) are related to the problem.
3)The question
I have not found out the answer in the help. So could you help me to learn how to set a given menu as a root (or top) one.

I don't know where I got this note, but it illustrates why I stay confused about remotes:
DVDs have a title or top menu, which will take the user to the menu specified for title remote. Timelines have a menu property, which takes you to the menu specified for the timeline (menu remote). The two should not be confused.
Go to the Flowchart and select the Disc icon. Then look at the Properties panel. Set the title remote as you wish - where will the user go when they push the top menu button.
So, logically, I suspect that you do not have the "title remote" set correctly.
But it may also turn out that the buttons are not doing what the Adobe help file says. (I suspect that is where I got the above verbiage. But I can't find it now.) And I have not gotten around to testing this. It is one of those things that can only be tested using real remotes and not computer player.
Maybe the numbers B2 (for the first one) and B1 (for the second one) are related to the problem.
The B1 and B2 show the default button for the menu.

I have a menu on the top of the page on a sidebar-sort. I was wondering how you could make it move to the left, not until the scrollbar reaches the end of the page, but when I say so. If i put the key position under the menu, it disappears. If i put it at the top of the page, my only choice is to use the Final motion, but that one moves until the scrollbar ends. So how can I do it?

You need to set the initial motion to zero and specify the key position to the scroll point, where you would like to begin the scrolling from.

How to set up a second iphone/itumes account on one computer

Hi,
I have iTunes on my windows laptop and my iPhone and my iTunes account is currently set up on my iTunes.
I want my partner to also be able to have her own iTunes account and iPhone on my laptop.
I have read a few forums but I cannot follow any of the instructions. The steps outlined are not available on my iTunes program. for example on apple suppor it says

Look in your computer's Help documentation to learn how to set up other user accounts. To find this information:
Click the Start Menu and click Help or Help and Support.
Enter "new user" in the Search field.
Press Return.
when I go to my iTunes and go to help my options are "iTunes help" or "Apple service and support" and neither of these option allow you to search for "new user" so these instructions are useless.

I bought a second iPod touch for my daughter. My problem is that this second iPod is not being recognized as a device... therefore I cannot sync it or add any content to it. Do you know how I can add a second iPod to my iTunes so that I am able to sync it?

How to set module to be on top of another module

hello guys!! i'm just newbie in flex, and cant figured out
how to manage loaded modules to set who's on top of each other. if
i load one module then loads another one, the last module loaded is
the one on top what i want to happen is when i click on the first
module it should be brought on top. how can i do these?

How to set the menu item you want highlighted upon playing DVD

I have a list of about 9 menu items on my main DVD menu. The 6th one is the one that is highlighted when you play the DVD. This happens in submenus as well. I want the FIRST one highlighted at all times. Is there a way to set that?

I was having this problem and I found a fix. It all happens in map view.
I'm viewing my iDVD project map horizontally... Left to Right.
Whatever object is directly to the right, will be the default. Here's a lame diagram.
MENU-MOVIE 1
-MOVIE 2
-MOVIE 3
In this example... Movie 1 is the default. It's right next to Menu. Want to change it? Got everything saved? Then select Movie 1 and hit Cmd-X to Cut.
It will disappear in a poof of smoke. Don't panic. Notice how the other movies got "promoted?"
MENU-MOVIE 2
-MOVIE 3
Now Movie 2 is the default. SO!
Select the MENU object and hit Cmd-V to Paste.
Movie 1 should return at the bottom of the list. Like so.

-MOVIE 3
-MOVIE 1
Now preview your work to make sure.

How to set a date variable to "top of the next hour"?

hi
i have a idler script that i want to continually run. at the moment it idles for an hour, then runs the "on idle" handler.
what i would prefer is to set this to the "top of the next hour", for any hour. e.g. if its 4:35, it would set it to 5:00. is there a simple, standard way of doing this, or will i need to do some maths to get to the result?

How to set up to get email for more than one address like you can on ipad?

I have several addresses set up on i devices and get mail from all. Can I set up all addresses on thunderbird the same way and if yes how? Community help site seems to have answers but when I tap on the answers I get nothing. It does not connect to answers.

My wife already has a ipod so we have itunes already set up on the home PC and her work pc. We are about to activate two new iphones. I use the home pc primarily and have myoutlook running on it. Wife uses her outlook on work pc
2 iphones purchased. My iphone will be setup on home pc with outlook and plan to get mobileme. Second iphone sitting on seperate work computer with no mobileme on it. Though music is sitting on both computers and want to share the music between both iphones. Do not want to share mobileme and contacts between the iphone users.

How to set front panel size to be same as one led?

In documentation reads that minimum front panel size is one pixel. I need to create front panel which have same size as one led (see attachment). I'm not able to make front enough small just by dragging window borders. I also tried to change front panel size from File->Vi properties ->Window size but that didn't helped. How I can set front panel to smaller size?

I think I got it
In the window apperance option I removed everything except "Allow user to resize window" And the Run options. Then I ran the VI (continuosly since there is no loop) and resized it. After I stopped it, I then removed "Allow user to resize window" from the window apperance options.
P.S! If you try to resize my Vi now, it will pop back out for some reason.

How to set permissions to allow reading on more than one device

Our base permissions restrict reading to one device for 365 days with print 1 page and copy 1 page limits. For a new book we're adding to our online library, we want to allow people to read on more than one device, with a defined expiration date (January 15, 2012) and no printing and no copying. (The "more than one device" restriction is intended to allow users to transfer the book to iTunes and read it in Bluefire Reader.)
How do we set permissions for this new book? In particular, what Read settings for devices do we use? No selection? The options in the ACS Console are not clear to us (i.e., the choice between A Single Device and Specific Device Type) and the manual doesn't offer an example. ... I'm guessing the selections should be none -- i.e., do not specify any device setting. Yes?

Which I would describe as allow viewing on the device which fulfilled the content for one year, and in addition allow viewing on any mobile or tethered device (Bluefire Reader iPad app, android app, Nook Color, etc...) until Jan 15, 2010 at midnight PST. One print and one copy is allowed (and can only be used on the device that fulfilled the content).

How to set up family sharing if we previously shared one account?

My wife and I have 2 phones and 4 tablets between the two of us. We have always just used my itunes account on all of the devices. Now that family sharing is available, I'd like to set her up with an apple ID and separate our stuff.
What is the way to do this? When I do this will it "break" things on her devices? Will apps disappear when we add her apple ID to the devices and then have to reinstall them? Now that we can take calls over all the devices, this is becoming more important.

As far as I know that can not be done, because content sharing is done using Itunes store licensing and licensing laws are different in different countries. That is why itunes store is not international entity, every county has it's own.

what can i say, i run a music studio, dj off of mp3's as well, and edit video in my spare time
so, i've got terrabytes of data, on multiple external and internal hard drives, and have therefore invested in 2 (two) 1tb time capsules. however, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to set them up to both backup my different and various hard drives on one computer! at the moment, i can get both visible on one network, but only one TC at a time will backup, the other just sits there gathering dust as far as i can tell.
i'm running a mac pro, os 10.5.8, with an 4 disc external drive - 3 disks with various data (one contains video data, one mp3s, and one protools recording data) and one running super duper to make weekly clones of my main hard drive. i'd like to configure one time capsule to backup, say, my hard drive and protools disks, and one time capsule to backup the video and mp3 drives.
i've searched quite bit on google and here for a solution, but there's a dearth of information on this subject! hasn't anyone else out there done this? surely i'm not the only person out here with loads and loads of critical data in his home needing more than one tb of backup...

That is correct. For backups, the Time Capsule is basically just a dumb HD; the Time Machine software on your Mac is what controls things, and it can only have one destination at a time, whether it's backing-up one or multiple HDs.

Again, TM won't do that. Only one "instance" of TM will run at a time, and you can only have one set of exclusions (to limit what it backs up) at a time.

No, but it's fairly rare, and few want to do this wirelessly. And note that Time Machine was not designed for such situations, but as a very simple, "set it and forget it" backup tool for the novice to intermediate user, who's likely never used any backup app at all.
For a Time Capsule to back up everything (except the clone), about your only option is to forget the TC's internal HD. Instead, get either a single external HD that's 2 or 3 times the space of what you want backed-up, or enough smaller ones that you can make a +Concatenated RAID set+ large enough. Attach this to the TC and back-up to it.
But for that much data, this is a very slow and cumbersome solution.
You probably need a mixed solution of some sort; using Time Machine to the Time Capsule for your boot drive and as much of the more volatile data on the other drive(s) as is reasonable; then SuperDuper or another app to back up the other data to an external HD.

Based on my further research, we can use the following method to word around the issue so that the first table will print every odd row and the second table will print every even row, effectively giving you multiple column output. For more details, we can
refer to the following steps:
Add two tables to design surface.
On the Detail row of the first table, insert two fields, then use the following expression to control the row visibility:
=iif((RowNumber(Nothing) Mod 2) = 1, False, True)
On the Detail row of the second table, insert the same two fields, then use the following opposite expression to control the row visibility:
=iif((RowNumber(Nothing) Mod 2) = 1, True, False)

How to set up two apple ids for use on one phone?

Help! My husband got an iPhone 4S. I have had one for a while. We each have an apple ID. I need step by step instructions as to change his phone settings so that we use my apple ID for music and apps on his phone and his apple ID for everything else. My goal is that he can access music and apps I already purchased, but we each get our own texts, emails, etc.
I know this has been asked hundreds of times, but I can't find the answer searching past discussions. I did this already for my daughter's ipad mini, but I had to go to the apple store for help. I can't figure it out on my own. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure that in Settings
Messages> Send/Recieve -your signed in to your own account
When your trying to share applications you cant be signed in to both accounts Simutaniously but you can technically sign in to their account in Settings>iTunes / App store- download their apps/music
Then sign out and back in to your device with your own account
