Hi,
I have seen others in the Apple Support Communities who have a photo instead of an avatar as the picture that appears when they make a post. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Goto Settings, select iCloud, select PhotoSteam, and turn it off - you will get a warning message that this will delete the photos in photostream (but they are in your camera roll and albums so no worries) and delete. You will now have only Camera Roll (where you CAN delete photos directly on your phone), and any albums you've imported - which you can sync using iTunes.
Otherwise you can also loginto iCloud from Mac or PC and delete the photostream there

- what if i added a photo i don't like /need/ want/ will this photo will be there forever?
- so If I want to use the sync service, i can ONLY add pictures in the photostream, until there are thousands, and my space gets FULL? what then? reset again?
- whats the point of this stream at all then?
- I just can't beleive that the only way is to reset all photostream, or just stop using it ( I will not use it )

I have registered my email and selected a blackberry email as well. I had to go online to Tmobile and register my email as I only have 2 options at the "add email" screen.
1) I want to use a work email account.
2) I want to skip email setup.
I do not have the option here for adding my own email.
I have yet to receive email to my phone.
While at the Tmobile store, the rep registered my phone so I could get the email accounts set up. When I look at my account online, I see the emails I have added to the account.
I get no emails. I sent one to my blackberry account, but still no emails.
I had a pearl that I borrowed last year and it was no problem. Actually got too many emails. Now I get none, only text messages.
Suggestions?

Nik,
This is done in Edit>Preferences>General. IIRC, the still Duration is in Frames, not seconds, so take note of that. Do this, prior to Import. It will also set the Duration for Titles, but they are easy to adjust for Duration.

No, this is not the case at all. Every device that receives email will notify you in whatever what it's set to.

If you have "iTunes Store" in the top right of your iTunes menu, the device should show up just to the left of "iTunes Store".
If you have "Library" in the top right of your iTunes menu, click "Library" then click your device next to "iTunes Store" in the top right.
Alternatively, follow Ocean20's directions and "Show Side Bar" then select your device on the right side of iTunes.

When I import photographs from my camera I can see the camera's card listed in the Finder. I move the files to my Mac.
When I connect my iPhone to the Mac, it appears in iTunes, but not in the Finder. I don't know how to import the photographs. How do I do this?
I am about to replace the iPhone (battery problem), and I don't want to lose the Camera Roll photos. I'd rather not have to email them to myself if I don't have to.

Build image

Get property of picture
    clear : lw_height, lw_width.
    get property of lo_picture 'Height' = lw_height.
    get property of lo_picture 'Width' = lw_width.
    call function 'FLUSH'.
*change the height and width values and after
Change the property
      set property of lo_picture 'LockAspectRatio' = -1.
      set property of lo_picture 'Height' = lw_height.
      set property of lo_picture 'Width' = lw_width.
