How to set chromakey settings so only my teeth show up white

Greetings all,
I'm using PREL 7 and I want to create an effect where my mouth fades into a green screen but I can't seem to get the settings right for proper contrast. I made up my face to be green - the same color as my green screen - and I cropped it to show only my lips and teeth. I was able to neutralize my lips but my teeth also have a green tint.
From the Keying menu, I selected chromakey and used the eyedropper to select the green makeup on my face. I've adjusted teh Similarity, Blend, Threshold, Cutoff, Smoothing. On the Image Control setting, I adjusted Contrast and Saturation.
I think there's a setting I'm missing but I don't know what will create contrast I'm looking for. Any ideas?

Once you have everything else set up, my might want to look at Track Matte Keying, on a duplicate of your face, to separate out your teeth.
This TUTORIAL will give you some basic tips on doing this. You will need to "read-between-the-lines," as it is about "softening skin tones," but the principles are the same - just with your teeth, and you'll not likely be using the Gaussian Blur, that Curt used. Still, the general techniques are the same, just modified for your purposes.

No need to crop your clips. The mask does the cropping of the upper clip.
To use the image mask, you need an image to place into the drop zone in the inspector. In your case you'd want a simple black to white gradient as the image mask and choose Luminance in the Image Mask source luminance pop-up. I'm attaching a sample gradient. The original was 1280x720 to match a 720p movie but the forum shrinks it down. This gradient was created in Photoshop in less than 30 seconds.
You import this gradient file into your event. Click on the Mask Source in the Image Mask effect and then click on the gradient file in your event list and click Apply Clip. Change the Mask Source to Luminance. Change the offset mask parameters to move where the gradient lines up in your movie.

We almost had the same requirement, but we just needed to color a specific column.
Here goes the solution to that, you might do the same for your row highlighting
Changes are required in jsff and one method to be added in backing bean

How o set envoirmental settings of OAS 10g (10.1.2.0.2)?

I am first time installing the OAS 10g (having OSS and OID) on OEL 5.5 x86 , and after that I will go to integrate it with EBS (12.0.6) with database 10g.
I have 3 machines:
1: One for oracle Application server (EBS r12 (12.0.6)) ----> Red Hat Linux 4.6 x86 ---------> Install and functioning.
2: Second for oracle database server (oracle 10g (10.2.0.3)) ---> Red Hat Linux 4.6 x86 ---------> Install and functioning.
3: Third for OAS 10g(10.1.2.0.2) with "OAS Infrastructure" and "OAS Middle Tier" (On same machine with different ORACLE_HOME). ------> OEL 5.5 x86 ------> Not Installed .
So, I had installed the "OAS Infrastructure" , but not install the "OAS Middle Tier",, and I restart the OS , after that my envoirnment is not loaded and I cannot startup the OAS services.
Please guide me about my above plan is correct or any helpful suggessions from ur side, I will appretiate in advance?
Please also guide me how to set the envoirnmental setting for OAS?

Airport Express - How to set proxy settings?

Hello all
I have an AirPort Express in for testing at work.
The internet access at work requires going through a proxy. This proxy gets set on domain clients via gpo.
We have some devices we dont want to put on the domain (wont get the gpo) but we need them to have internet access.
We could set the proxy on these devices manauly but theres a lot of them.
I have been trying to find where in the Airports settings you can set proxy settings but cant find anything.
Can you set proxy settings manualy in the device and if so, where abouts?
I'm using windows for accessing the Airports settings.

unfortunately i have to use 1.4 which makes this a bit more tricky.
my other idea was to use system.setProperties to set the 2 proxy fields and then afterwards set them back to what they were -- however in the case they were null I get an NPE when I try and set them back, so I'd need a workaround for that as well.

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I want to be able to print in just black and white on my printer.
My printer is a HP Officejet Pro 6830, and my computer operating system is Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
I do not have an option on my word program that allows me to 'greyscale' or any type of colour option.

Hi,
Follow the steps below to print using Black Ink only:
1. From the application used to print, click the File menu and select Print. The Print window appears.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized: Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.
2. To access the color options, click the lowest selection box listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
3. Select Paper Type/Quality from the drop-down menu.
4. Click the triangle next to Color Options to expend the settings.
5. Set the Color field as Grayscale.
6. Set the Grayscale Mode as Black Ink Cartridge Only.
You may save the settings for future use by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...
Any used preset will remain default so simply select teh standard preset to print in color.

How to set print settings

I have an Epson R260 printer and previously printed using photoshop Elements, with Elements managing the color. I am trying to figure out how to print using iPhoto.
When I choose a photo and click the print button, I get a box that has 4 presets: "Photo on Photo paper", "Photo on Photo Paper - Fine", and 2 more for matte paper. I pick the Photo on Photo Paper - Fine preset and click the Print button. This gives me another print dialog, again with a Presets drop-down, but now with "Standard" available and preselected. Should I re-select the "Photo on Photo Paper - Fine" option here? Or leave it at Standard? There also is an "Advanced" button, which allows me to choose Print Settings -- once more allowing me to select a paper type and print quality, as well as color management, where I can set what looks like parameters for the Epson print driver -- Mode (Epson Vivid is preselected, but Standard and Adobe RGB are other selections) and Gamma (1.8 is preselected, but 1.5 and 2.2 are available).
I've gone through 3 or 4 different tries at combinations and either get something rather garish, or too dark. Can someone help out?

What I do is create a special setting for the printer while in PSE with the settings for the paper quailty and other items that you use for best prints and save with a custom name. Then go thru the print process in iPhoto selecting the printer and print size. Then in the last window you can select the custom setting that you developed earlier.
You'll be able to use those settings from any application.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. How to set item via URL only when that item is null

From application A, I am attempting to set an application-level item of Application B via the URL to Application B. I only want the application-level item of Application B to be set when it the item is null. If it is not null, I don't want the application-level item to be set to something else.
I can't think of a way to do this from within Application B after the URL takes the user to Application B and I can't think of a way to do it from within Application A before the URL is invoked. The URL in Application A is part of a List (Shared Component) so it is not clear to me how to use PL/SQL to dynamically tell the URL to include or not include the assignment of the application-level item in the URL call.
Am I missing something obvious?

You could pass the value into a different item in application B. A before-header page process in the target page could then perform the transfer of the sent item into another item if that other item is null.

How to set up iCloud to only contain iPhone pictures

I updated my phone to iOS 8 yesterday and since then iCloud has been acting all weird. Before the update, the pictures from my phone would get uploaded to the cloud and I'd be able to see them in iPhoto. I had some pictures from my macbook (that were taken with a DSLR and were never on my iPhone) imported to the iPhoto library and after the update they all got synced to iCloud which i found weird and disabled iCloud for the time being. Anyway, I deleted the pictures and now my library in iPhoto is empty but when I turn iCloud back on, a lot of the pictures that are on my laptop appear, I'm not sure if it's all of them since I don't know exactly how many pictures I have. Soo.. how can I get only the photos from my phone to appear on iCloud?

If you already have it set up on your phone you can go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. If you never set it up using your phone, then you won't be able to set it up to find your phone.

How to set value from LOV only as a default reference not enforce validate check?

In jdev 11.1.2.3,
By creating List of Value(LOV) for an attribute of a VO, I can get default value for the current VO's attribute from the lookup table, but it will also enforce a validate check for that value.
If I input a value which is not in the lookup table, then errors will raised.
Now I hope I can get default value from LOV, and can also input some new value (and this new value can be insert into the lookup table by a database trigger) for the attribute/field without failure to pass the check.
Any one can help?

However, my current issue is a different requirement, let me describe it clearly as:
I have a formlayout to input a field value which can be from a lookup table, or if this value is not in the lookup table then it can also be input without raising value validation check failure.and this new value can be added to the lookup table at the same time.
for example, there is a FK attribute deptno in the EMP table, in a form for editing EMP attributes, user can input deptno value which is already in the DEPT lookup table by selecting from a LOV. also can input some new value which cannot be selected from the LOV, and this new deptno value will be posted to database both in EMP and DEPT table.
The issue is, after create a LOV for deptno attribute in EMP VO, there will be a enforced value validation check, so new values cannot be input in EMP unless it is input into DEPT first.

List of values are designed to return valid values only. As a result, validation rules defined on data source view object attributes will be suppressed.
My question is: how to disable this enforced value validation for a LOV-enabled field?

How to set home for SSH-only account in OS X Server?

Hi everyone,
I need a Linux VM to regularly access a shared folder via SSH/SFTP. So I created a new (network) user account on the Yosemite Server. If I select no user home - only services in Server.app I am not able to login with that user via ssh. If I select user home - only local I can login, but my current path will then be
/Users/username/
I can go to / and see the rest of the file server, but I have no access to /Volumes/RAID/… where I need this account to be able to write to.
Ideally I would like to have a user account which only can use SSH (I know how to restrict that via SACLs) which auotmatically lands at /Volumes/RAID/data/here/ and can not cd upwards.
What would be the best way to accomplish this?

In the Server app, select the Users panel, then select
Local Users
from the popup menu above the user list. Right-click the user name in question and select
Advanced Options...
from the popup menu. Change the home folder.
this test user has access to /Applications, /System and so on, even though I did not mark him as an Administrator.
You don't need to be an administrator to get into those folders, only to make changes.
