1) How can i edit an "Item" of a choicebox with css? I've figured out that i can easily give my choicebox like a other background color with it's ID. But i dont know how i do it with the items in a choicebox.

best way to start styling is to have a look at the default styles defined in caspian.css located in jfxrt.jar

2.) I think you could set the items with -fx-color: transparent as they should dissapear on hover if you manipulate the style

How to set up load balancing with overload server on css
can anyone tell me how to set up a load balancing config on css that will enable me to LB proxy caches and when they have too many connections then LB against an overload proxy-cache.
Such that when the normal proxy-cache farm is under the ceiling of max connections then the overload server is not used ?

not really clear what you want to achieve. To change the look and feel of the application to not use ADF browser look and feel you need to write your own skin. See the developer guides for what skinning is and what it does
If what you mean is how-to switch the default skin upon start-up then this needs to be configured e.g. in a session variable (or wherever you read the current skin name from), which can be done e.g. in a servlet filter.

Can't figure out how to set a frame width
Noob questions I suppose....our instructor has us creating a
site using only framesets. I realize this isn't the best way to go,
but we are leading our way up to CSS.
If you look at my navbar, it needs to be 125 to be able to
fit my buttons, but I can not for the life of me how to set the
width of that frame.
Also, how do I name the site on the index file from "untitled
document" to what I want. I know how to do it on individual
pages... or normal index pages, but here, it does not seem I can
pull up the index file alone without everything being loaded and no
way to edit the index file.

You set the width of a frame the way you'd expect to - in the

How to set a hover for Accordion content?
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to make a vertical side navigation using the accordion feature.
I've got it all working for what I want to do except for a hover on content.
I have it set for hover on the labels so it shows the blue bar and yellow text on hover or open like I want.
What I'd like now is to have a background on each content line when I hover on it (and when selected it stays the background shown on hover).
I've got a background image for the yellow gradient highlight shown below, but can't figure out how to set the Content for hover like I did the Top Level Tab.
I'm attaching a couple of files for demonstration in case the above is not clear.

As Francois pointed out Oracle forms has nothing to do with html based technology. The way you can get the equivalent effect of creating consistancy in the way your objects are displayed is by creating a set of items you want and alter their apperance and behaviour and place them into object libraries (one library should do the trick). From there you subclass all of you forms items off these libraries.

How to set width of a TextField ?
Hi all,
I want to use Polish in my javaME code , so I add //#style style_name before calls of constructor TextField.
The problem is that when I run the application then the textfield is very small in width ! And when I try to enter a value inside then a big textarea is shown in the screen in which I enter the value ; and after that I click the "Ok" command item and I finally return to my form.
I use a polish.css file to define the style.
So how to set a width for a TextField ?

How to set alignment in a TextField?
I need to set allignment of the text in a TextField to right. There is no such under TextField.
Anybody knows how to set alignment in a textfield in javaFX 2.0 ?
ThanksIt may be worth filing a feature request jira to get platform native support for this.
You might think that textField.setStyle("-fx-text-alignment: right;") would work, but it does not.
I guess that the -fx-text-alignment css property only right aligns multi-line text, not text within a text field.
The following code uses binding to keep Text in a TextField right aligned.
The translations place the text visually right and keyboard editing is OK.
Mouse transparency is enabled because mouse based selections still act as though the text is left aligned.
So it's not a complete solution.

1. How to set a background in Adobe Dreamweaver so it's gonna be visible in whole browser no matter what resolution is set, the problem is that I cant set to repeat it as the backgroud is not symetric (picture below):
