We are using SAP B 8.81 PL-10. we want to set by default location like "Bangalore" In Serial Number setup.How can we do this.Please suggest me.

Thanks For your response. Here we are using 10 warehouse and all warehouse having same location like' Bangalore'.No currently we are not using any FMS.

Andrew is essentially correct. You can get around the trigger,
but not the sequence, if (and this may be a very big if) you can
guarantee that every time an insert is done into the table, from
whatever source, the statement looks something like

Look at the box it came in.

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

I'm pretty sure higher access superceedes, so you could set up a group with no actual access, just to get the preferences working, then their individual security will dictate what they can do. I haven't tested this fully, but I beleive this is how it will work. As far as setting the preferences, go into the admin console and right click on the group, then select Preferences. To apply the group preferences to a user, add the user to the group, then right click on the user, select preferences and from the upper left corner, use the drop down to select the active preference, in this case, it will be the group you created and added them to. Go to IQ02 on Header tool bar you will find edit(2nd option on header tool bar) => edit manually=> Click from Customer=> and then to Stock you will find the expected results...
Generally Serial number Status use to change along with the movement of material linked with that serial number... So if you are changing serial number with manual trasaction then please remove all the details from IQ02 like plant storage location Batch and master batch so that i will not provide you error while doing next transactions.

We tried all the way but could not able assign characteristics value before saving the document. it means we can only see the assigned value using transaction CV02N. but our requirement is to check if the user fills any value into characteristics it should check with default value which we would like to assign whenever we create a new part of the document which we are not able to achieve.we tried a lot but could not succeed.
Nay idea if we can achieve this....

MODIFY t100 FROM message_wa.

I have a registered copy of PSE4 and want to upgrsfe to PSE 10 but cannot get thes/n by clicking "About" because it is a Power PC app and will not start sinceI upgraded to Mac OSX Lion. How do you add an additional serial number to TestStand logfile name?

I have two boards that are tested as a pair and I would like to have the log name show both serial numbers for tracking purposes. The logfile name is currently set up to show the serial number of the mainboard. I put the second serial number into a StationGlobal after it is scanned it in. How can I add the second serial number to the logfile name?

I have found a Community Example that demonstrates how to modify the report name in Report Options. The pictures may not show exactly what you see If you are using TestStand 2012, but the steps are essentially the same. I hope this helps!

I'm trying to deploy some content types and columns into a site with a feature. All it's ok, except that I'm trying to set a default value for boolean columns with no success.
I've tried to set default value at column level:
<Field ID="{EFE23A1D-494E-45cf-832E-45E41B17F0CF}" Name="ScopeSpanish" DisplayName="Se publican noticias en español"
Type="Boolean" Hidden="FALSE" Group="Columnas ShaCon" >

and at content type level:

But in any case, when i create a new item with this content type, default value is applied.
Can anyone tell how to set default values for boolean columns?
