How to set default working directory in iSQL*PLUS

In regular SQL*Plus, one could set the properties attribute of the shortcut icon to a default working directory. Is there a way to set a default for iSQL so that you don't have to reset this each time you log on?

The default path for the "Browse..." (Netscape) or
"Choose" (Opera 6) button for loading scripts????
This would be browser specific - even the button text
is chosen by the browser. I've never tried to rig the
initial path. Maybe it can be done with a shortcut
to the browser executable?

The environment ids you can choose yourself and you have to put them in there yourself too (here I put two environments for two different applications "1" and "2").
If you call a report from Forms, then you have to code something like
ADD_PARAMETER(p_list,'ENVID',TEXT_PARAMETER,'APP1');
Details depend on how you call your reports, my example is for using a parameter list and calling a report out of application1

I need to save a file in an existing folder, inside my current working directory. I've tried to set the folder where I want to save my file as the working directory.This is what I tried to do:

I have now another problem: I want to run some 16 bits programs. Since there are some problems with that, I've created some 32 bit programs in C that run those 16 bit programs,and then I ran those programs from my Java program. The problem is that this approach works fine only for some programs,not for all. I'll put below the code I wrote(hope it won't be too much):

Someone knows how to change the default directory "tmp_ejb...." in WebLogic Server
7.0?
This is the default directory where WebLogic Server 7.0 generates and compiles
the EJB's declared in config.xml.
I try to specify the attribute TmpPath="ANOTHER_TMP_LOCATION_DIRECTORY_FOR_EJB"
in the EJBContainer node but still doesn't work.
The same thing happens when I test this attribute on EJBComponent declaration.
Someone knows if there is an enviroment variable that specify this tmp_ejb location
path?
It's false that the tmp_ejb is located where the config.xml file is placed.
I have 3 weblogic servers and they haven't the same behaviour.

I'm pretty sure higher access superceedes, so you could set up a group with no actual access, just to get the preferences working, then their individual security will dictate what they can do. I haven't tested this fully, but I beleive this is how it will work. As far as setting the preferences, go into the admin console and right click on the group, then select Preferences. To apply the group preferences to a user, add the user to the group, then right click on the user, select preferences and from the upper left corner, use the drop down to select the active preference, in this case, it will be the group you created and added them to. How to set default path for file open in SQL Developer

I am new to Oracle SQL Developer. Everytime when I open a file, it will default to the install directory. It is hurtingmy hand because I have to click back to the folder where I put my sql statements.
Is there any way to set the Home or Work button to point to the location I like? or add anther button to point to my folder? I just don't want to click 5 to 10 times to open a file.

There are a few things. One is that you can set a working directory for any files you run in the SQL Worksheet i.e. @myfile.sql will pick up this directory.
You can also set a preference for exporting files.
Also if you use File -> Open, it should remember where you were the last time, so you hunt the first time, then it remembers for the next time. There is a bug for ctrl-O that always goes back to the original directory, but that has been fixed for the next patch release, so ctrl -O will also remember where you were last.
The differences here are because we are dependent on the IDE from JDeveloper, and so we don't have full control over the Save and Open dialogs. We are aware of this frustration and are planning to change this for a future release.

We tried all the way but could not able assign characteristics value before saving the document. it means we can only see the assigned value using transaction CV02N. but our requirement is to check if the user fills any value into characteristics it should check with default value which we would like to assign whenever we create a new part of the document which we are not able to achieve.we tried a lot but could not succeed.
Nay idea if we can achieve this....

No it won't help.
You can't set a value into an <input type="file"> control at all. The user has to put values in themselves.
The reason behind this is security. If the programmer could put any value they liked in there, you could upload any file at all from a users computer without their intervention. eg C:\windows\system32\passwords.txt
Bottom line: you can't put a default value into the input type="file" control.
And a good thing too ;-)

I'm trying to deploy some content types and columns into a site with a feature. All it's ok, except that I'm trying to set a default value for boolean columns with no success.
I've tried to set default value at column level:

Hi,
Assigning a default Reason for Rejection is not in standard SAP. I am sure there is some enhancement/user exit which updates the reason for rejection.
Please get the help of an ABAPer, create the sales order in debugging mode and he will find out the logic behind the automatic reason for rejection.
Before that you can find the exits in the include MV45AFZZ for any code related to this.

This information initial value is (maybe) stored in Windows Register (register.exe) at Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend Server\Filetransfer -> PathDownload, you can read it thru class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES method GET_UPLOAD_DOWNLOAD_PATH and update it thru method REGISTRY_SET_VALUE. (Else there may be some parameter ID to force data, but I'm no longer sure)

You have to set something on your computer (outside Java) to tell it that you are in the US. You didn't say, but I'm going to guess that you are using Windows; if that's so, then try Regional Options in Control Panel.

How to set default view for preview?

Every time I open a PDF using Preview I have to set the view to 'thumbnails', then 'two pages up', then adjust the zoom. Complete waste of time.

I customized my Toolbar to look like the following. Click the middle button that has the 1 circled. That tells Preview to remember to display pages at actual size (100%). Every file that I open now displays at 100%.

Select option is table <Structure> with fields, low, high, sign & option
you need to append the value into the select option, with appropriate value in low or
example:
S_HKONT-low = <value>
S_HKONT-SIGN = 'I'
S_hkont-OPTION = 'EQ'
append s_hkont.
Default value for select-option also can be added directly in select-option statement.
