How to set document cannot save as in content Management in Portal

Is it possible to set document in content managment in Portal cannot "save as" in content Management in Portal, because our requirement need cannot save and save in document.

Content Administration -> Portal Content--> double-click the role you want to set priority to- click properties and find Sort Priority.

We store on content management as an attachment, and in relations with a marketing campaign, an image which represents the campaign. We developed a smartform which restores the data of the campaign and we want to insert the image about which I speak above. It seems that the documents stored on content management are not stored on a physical path but that they are it in cluster tables and thus I does not see how can I post this image in the smartform which we have to create. Thus I seek somebody who would have the solution of this problem.

I do not know or have time right now to look up NDP format.
To write to NTFS from Mac, you need a driver.
And to write to HFS from Windows also.
I strongly recommend Paragon drivers for both.

How can I resolve: cannot save any type of image in Illustrator CS6 on Windows XP SP3?

I have a user who is on Windows XP SP3 and he cannot save any images in Illustrator CS6. When he selects eitheer of the save buttons, the location window comes up but nothing happens after that. We have given him admin rights and permissions for the computer and Illustrator, the UAC is off, we have deleted the pref folder, and we have done a reinstall of the software . Other users can log onto the same machine and Illustrator works fine for them, but; this particular user, who is the primary user of the computer, cannot save his work using the program. How can we fix this

Flush out temp files and check disk permissions and quota. He may simply be running out of local storage space.

How to set a performance appraisal doc to approved status in portal

Hi,
I'm trying to create a new appraisal document where once the document is marked 'complete' it is then allowed to be marked approved. I have configured the status flow tab to allow the pushbutton "approve" with a target status of "approved" to be used from the status of "completed". I have even set the person authorized field to "all users" for my testing. From the BSP pages on the portal I can mark the document complete as the appraiser, but then when the "approve" pushbutton appears it is all greyed out. I currently have it set to 'save and display' to see that. If I use 'save and exit' it is even removing the document from the TODO page for the appraiser.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to allow the appraiser to use this status button in portal? If I log-in as the appraiser in the GUI they do however have the approve button on phap_admin_pa.

I don't think anyone is holding back knowledge, I think it's sometimes difficult to filter out "good" questions as opposed to "bad" questions...
In any case, I don't think it's possible to have different default templates, eg one for the portal and one for the "rest". I'm afraid you'll have to either change each one on the portal or use one for all.

How to set the HomePage and FolderSize of a managed folder?

Recently, I deside to get the FolderSize and HomePage of a managed folder throw GetFolder operation in EWS, but the FolderSize and the HomePage always not present.
Unfortunately, I could not set these two element directly in Exchange management shell like "StorageQuota".
I tried to create some items in the managed folder, but I also could not get the FolderSize.
How can I do next? Is there anybody know the ways to set the HomePage and FolderSize of a managed folder?

We can use the Set-OrganizationConfig -ManagedFolderHomepage command to specify the homepage. To limit the managed folder size, we can use the StorageQuota parameter with the New-ManagedFolder command.

How to set up an link to UserDetails iView from a portal Content

Hello,
We are working in SAP EP 7.0. For our portal application we have developed a HTML File and upload it to the content management.that HTML is editable with the help of HTMLText Editor. That HTML file contains some user's name, the requirement is clicking on the User's Name it will open the <b>User Details iView</b> which is basically the deatils of the USER what is stored in the backend. If Who's Who section is configured in Enterprise Portal and we search by giving an user's name then it listed down all the relevant names, and clicking on each name a new window opens up with that person's details, the same thing needs to be done from that HTML file .. so how to proceed for that?

I´m Learning XML Forms but I have red that it is too static and I was wondering how do we manage content within Portal and KM? is there another tool to create and deploy content within the Portal? or it has to be developed and called from an iView?

Hello Gerardo,
I agree with you that XML Forms are static, that means you create one form for each common structure document that is to be published.
But this functionality has its own advantage, check this link for more infos:

Once you have your XMLForms ready use these forms to publish documents and then show them in you IView.

How to set Document Library Item Limit at Site Collection level?

I have SharePoint which contains one Site collection with many Sites. Each sites has many document library.
Actually my requirement is, End Users wants to see only 10 items per page in document library. We can manually set by using "Item Limit" option but i could not set that for around 150 document libraries.
Is there any possible to set that in Site Collection level?

How to set default, rendered save directory please?

So every time I want to export (share) my movie to my PC, the default location is always "My Documents".
I have set all Scratch Disk locations for my preferred folder, not My Documents.
Is there a location where I can input a default "Share To" directory. It's a pain to navigate (Browse) through my PC every time to save to my preferred directory.

The only way I have found to make the share directory stick is in a Quick Share preset. You get a chance to save the current export settings to a Quick Share preset just after the export has completed. On the panel where you see the green checkmark and "Save Completed," there is a "Save as Quick Share" button further down that you click to create a Quick Share.
The next time you want to export using those same settings, instead of going through all the steps, just use the Quick Share preset that you saved and your path should be ready to go.

After Scanning a document, cannot save it in Acrobat X with Windows 7

Using Windows 7 a Kodak i40 scanner and Acrobat X Pro. Document scans normally and image appears in Acrobat, however when selecting save or save as, nothing happens. "Save as" does not open any windows. If you try to close the document, it asks if you want to save it, click on yes and it does nothing, then try to close and the "do you want to save" message appears again and document is not saved. Anyone else see this or have a suggestion for a solution?

As a work-around, I am able to select custom scan but you have to choose your scanner and after doing that click the options and change scan mode from native to memory. This will allow you to scan and save or "save as" but after you close Acrobat the settings will revert back to what they were before. I have even configured and saved presets with these same options but these settings are never saved when i close and re-open Acrobat

Set document title from windows clipboard contents

Hi Folks!
I have a process which I perform all the time, which leads me to believe that it's a good candidate for scripting. However, my scripting capabilities are only VB stuff and I think this may be beyond that.
Specifically, I print invoices from Quickbooks into PDF files, and the PDF then automatically opens in Acrobat.
Today, I populate the Windows Clipboard while in Quickbooks. Next, I "print" the invoice to PDF, and Acrobat opens with that document. I then choose File->Properties, and paste the contents of the clipboard into the "Title" of the Properties dialog. Finally, I save and close the PDF.
What I'd like: Upon pressing a button on toolbar (I hope this is possible!), I'd like to have the open document's "Title" set to whatever the contents of the Windows Clipboard is, then save and close the PDF document.
Can anyone help with a shell of a script here? I have little to no experience in Acrobat (or javascript) scripting. I find the Adobe docs on this quite confusing, as I don't know whether to be using an external editor (how do I connect the external script to an Acrobat button?) or the internal Javascript Console (again, connect to button)?
Any assistance here would be most appreciated.

This can't be done with JavaScript in Acrobat, since it has no access to the clipboard.
The only option is an external GUI automation script (like AutoIt).
