I just got Numbers and I love it. This app is great.
Does anyone have an idea of how to set up a meal list for a family in Numbers? I used to use TextEdit to type the meals in, separated with hard returns. It was one long list. I'd like to use someething a little more robust.

Thanks, that's giving me some ideas. Sometimes I overcomplicate my thought process, only to streamline it once I've gotten the big picture. Your idea looks very close to what I can use.
In the meantime, I made two weeks worth of breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas. That helped me tremendously. I made a grocery list, based loosely off of the menu template, as Johnny mentioned above. It has an ingredient column (that lists all of the things that I would purchase), Have it column (with checkboxes. I'm sure that I'll be able to sort by that, later), Quantity (how many or much I'll need), How sold (pound, box, can, pieces...), Price, Estimate, and Store (you like the check boxes, I LOVE the selection menus! I set the cells in this column to have a list of the stores that I shop from. When I get to a particular item I choose the store from the selection menu. I love it!).

How to set dynamic color , based on xml element

We have a requirement, where based on certain conditions, a cell will be shown in a specific color. We would like the coloir to be based on an XML element. The xml element will have values like '#FF00FF' etc..
We tried using xsl attribute with the following syntax ,
<xsl:attribute xdofo:ctx="block"name="color"><?stdcolor?></xsl:attribute><?end if?>
where stdcolor is the xml element, but when we use this , this is giving a syntax error.
Let us know, if this is possible or is there any other alternate way to do this.

How to map a custom enum list to a custom form property in an extended incident class

Hi,
I'm struggeling to understand how to map a custom enum list to a custom form property in an extended incident class.
Here's what i want to have happen:
I am going to publish a request offering on my SMPortal for allowing users to submit basic IT incidents. I want the form to include "Whom does this problem affect" (answers(This is the custom enum list): Me, Multiple Users, Whole department or Whole
company), "What is the problem about", "Description" and "Attachments".
Here's what i've done:
In the authoring tool i created a MP for the custom enum list and put only the list in it. I sealed the MP and imported it.
I created another unsealed MP called TST.Incident.Library for storing incident library customizations and extended the incident class to add an extension class i called ClassExtension_Affected scope with a custom property i called AffectedScope. Then i am trying
to set the datatype of this property to "list". In the "select a list" dialog i cannot chose my previously sealed MP with the custom enum list in it. Why?
- Do i need to scratch the sealed MP and put the custom enum list in the latter TST.Incident.Library MP instead?
- If so, can i do that and keep this MP unsealed, or will i get an error on import saying "Unsealed management packs should not contain type definitions"
- Should i create one sealed MP for both the custom enum list and the extension class + custom property?

Hi,
Authoring Tool simply isn't informed about your list. Open the sealed management pack where you define the root of the list in the Authoring Tool and in the same time open TST.Incident.Library. You will have two opened MPs in the Authoring
Tool and be able to add a custom list for your custom field.

Then i go format cell to format/custom date to year & month

So output like this

But the problem is when i insert to combo box,use u201Cfilter Row u201D, i excpectation will display only 2009,2010
But Actual display the Year in combo box is duplicated :'(
so any solution ? and then only how to set current year & month as default value :'(

In this, year and month both are same data, make the diffent data like year 2009, 2010 And month Jan, Feb, March, ...Etc
and also one more check you formulas on month and year, select correct source data, destination data for compoonent..
OR
from above, to create a date column and convert date-->year, date--> month and Explore it.

I found out how to set up an email distribution list without buying an app but now I need to know how to do the same with sending texts, without buying an app and by associating a contact to it. I don't want to send a group text and only access that group by pulling up the text screen. Since a phone number field in Contacts does not have the ability to delineate between numbers, probably not. Theoretically, I suppose it could work if applied for recipients getting iMessages AND using email as the receive address, but hard to say. But for SMS texting, no.

I have a View object called BillInfoVO. This has
all the information about who created the request, the time , status etc.,
I need to display this VO in a jsp. But before I display, i need to fileter this
VO results with different where clauses according to the role of the user.
For example, if the role is admin, then
where clause should be 'status = 'Completed, and created by = 'Current user'
If the role is requestor, then
the where clause should be
sales manager id = 'Current user' and
Status != Complete etc.,
Could any one please let me know how I can
dynamically set the where clause to filter the appropirate
result row set in the jsp?

You'll create a service method in your AM that will use the setWhereClause method of a viewobject.
Then you'll expose it as a client method.
Then you'll drag it from your data-control onto a button in your JSF page that will call your page for the query.

How do you dynamically populate a list?

Hello! Can anybody tell me how to fill a drop down list or combo box dynamically? For example, I want to grab the unique values of a database (error_source), and populate a drop down list with those unique values. This way I won't have to constantly be updating the static entry list every time one changes.

have you tried the dynamic entry list? If not open the properties of your drop-down-list select the entry list tab. Then choose dynamic another popup appears. In this popup you have to select your system (your database or another data source), then you can select table. Now choose output under the output port. Then you can assign for the output port a value (this is the key) and a text (the text is displayed in the drop down).

One of them - generic, which can be used for all types of list
Another is specific which contain a SQL statement to retrieve the data for
