i am using college wifi system, it used by proxy setting and username and password for that,
in the time of microsft updation I cant access internet, how to setup proxy for that??????

You have two choices. You can choose that your applications not resume their previous state when you shutdown or restart the Mac by deselecting the checkbox that appears prior to shutdown:
Or you can navigate to the General pane in System Preferences and deselect the Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps option. However, if you do this, applications will never resume their previous state, even when quit and restarted during a single boot session.

My problem is i have a JFrame where in i have a JCheckBock and when i check it my frame should be top from all applications opened(like MS Word,notepad or any window) and when it is dechecked it should be back when any application is opened . I tried in solaris by using toFront() but no result is found any suggestions please...

You should use JLayeredPane as container of your objects. It has a method called "setLayer", or similar, through which you can assign Z-Order to the objects contained in it.

How to use proxy for all application in XFCE?

Is there any way I can setup a proxy and then all applications over XFCE can use it, just like the Internet Option in Windows?
I tried "export PROXY=..." in command line and setup proxy for Firefox, but those setting is not for overall system.
If unfortunately there is no way for global setting, at least please tell me how to setup proxy for svn command.

New Proxy Setting Not Applying

We are applying a 2 part proxy GPO the computer part is applying but not the user part. We have unlinked and deleted the old policy from the OU but for some reason the old policy is still applying in the user policy. The only difference between the two
policy is the proxy info and the cert.

Modal dialog limiting the mouse pointer and blocking all application

I wanted to create a modal dialog that blocks all application in my desktop. Only password field be present and exits only if correct password is typed. I also wanted to limit the mouse pointer within the window of the modal dialog. Will that be possible? i have read modality feature of Mustang(beta) and notes there that system modality is not included. Can anybody there give me an idea how to do tricks on blocking all applications of the desktop? I will be much grateful to anybody who could solve this problem. Thnx in advance...

all i wanted is to make an internet cafe client/server that blocks the client's pc interaction if log time is reached.blocking only the keyboard and mouse.
i have seen so many softwares sets the cursor position within the dialog bounding box only with user and password there. though my other application runs the mouse is still captured on the dialog even the dialog lost focus.
if that would not be possible I'll just send notification to the client, a dialog that does not block any application.
now, im going to try if the client can do som action whenever the server sends alert if the client java app is not the focus. i will post next time what hapens.but if you tried already, if u dont mind posting it so others could know it also..

How to set up FSCM 9.0 Application for Customers to use ?

Hello. I have just installed FSCM 9.0 ( all of its modules) and run the application in Browser successfully. The Database is a clean System Database without any Demo data (Production Database).
In order for Customers to type in their data into the application, we need to set up CharFiled, SpeedType, SetID, common data in Controls Tables in the Database. In Menu, there is "Setup Financial/Supply Chain", and under PeopleTools, there is "Setup Manager". But I don't understand where to start to set up the application FSCM 9.0 application.
Do any folks understand the procedure to set up FSCM 9.0 application for Customers to use step by step ?

I have installed FSCM 9.0 all of 50 modules. I just want to implement General Ledger module. Thus, I create a project named "General Ledger" in Setup Manager under PeopleTools as follows:
PeopleTools -> Setup Manager -> Manage Implementation Project -> Create New Project by Product -> select "General Ledger" ->View Summary -> Save -> Type in "General Ledger" in Project Name Box -> Click ok -> click "generate setup tasks" -> click "setup task generation status"
It has been for a long time, I still see "Run Status" is always "Queued". The button "View Setup Task" does not become clear. This means the process is not completed.
Do we need to configure Process Scheduler at first before run Setup Manager ? If yes, how to configure Process Scheduler for Setup Manager to generate a list of setup tasks of a project ?

How to set proxy while deploying a bpel proxy?

How can i set proxy while deploying a bpel process. I'm trying to deploy an async bpel process that requires proxy to be set coz to access one of the xsd file requires to go thru a proxy. I have actually set proxy in the following files, setenv.bat and bpel-install.properties under location soa_home\bpel\bin and soa_home\bpel\system\services\install\ant-tasks respectively. When i try to deploy the process through obant.bat, it compiles file but gives an error while deploying stating that it is not able to access the xsd file. While compiling, the proxy setting is taken from setenv.bat and hence compiles successfully, but while deploying it doesn't seem to take the proxy setting set in bpel-install.properties file. Can anyone help me out as to how i can set proxy while deploying???? I'm using soa suite 10.1.3.3.

Hi all
I want to connect a secured web service from BPEL 10g. There are no compilation errors. I am getting getting while deploying to BPEL Console.
I am attaching the full console log.
I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. I am not getting any error when i deploy from my home PC. I am getting problem in my office only. There may be some blocks for some external URL. I am not able to find out how to resolve the issue.
