If you use external authetnication for users when they logon to SAP, then you can control the times they can logon and which days of week (if required). For example, it is possible to use Active Directory authentication to authenticate users to SAP application via SNC or using a custom login module in WebAS Java, and in AD you can set times when logons are allowed. This might be what you are looking for ?
If you want to log somebody off SAP when they have been using it for a period of time, then this can be dangerous if they are in the middle of a complex transaction when they are logged off. Also, I don't think this functionality is included in SAP product. If you don't want somebody to use SAP at certain times of day, then it might be better to force a screen saver at workstation instead, if this is what you want.

I am using windows server 2008 for file sharing, it's simple folder sharing and there is no additional roles added and not promoted as file server.
Users have permissions to access folder and they can put data on shared folder but I want to restrict user that they can not copy any images and video on it.
Need urgent help to stop copying images and videos on shared folder.

If you need to restrict only certain types of files, then file screening is what you need. Windows Server 2012 R2 comes with a powershell module for FSRM, so you can script configuration of file screening.
The code will look like the following (this is only an example):

I have to ristrict the user to not to copy from email Id item.. make him/her to enter the value into confirm email id item field manually.

Just an opinion here, but that is about the dumbest requirement I have ever seen.
I am always annoyed by web sites that ask me to enter my email twice. I ALWAYS copy the email address from the original entry and paste it into the second one.
People enter their email addresses so often, it takes a real klutz to not get it right. And what makes you think that if they enter it twice, that they won't enter it wrong both times anyway???

Hello
When you set up a project there is an option called Transaction Control.
This option allow you to list the allowed or restricted elements of costs for the project.
You may enter the transaction control on a project template and that will be copied to any new project.
The cost elements may be expenditure types, expenditures categories, suppliers, employees, etc.
In your case, I suggest to set up specific project templates for each operating units. On each template enter the list of allowed expenditures types for that OU.
Doing so, the system restricts users from entering any expenditure item, supplier invoice, purchase cost etc, against an expenditure type, which is not allowed.

and I have one PL/SQL web application and another J2EE application both are hosted by 9ias 902.
Now we are looking forward to couple both with SSO.
I have deloyed samples of both and works fine.
Each application have different set of users, i mean there is no common user.
How can i restrict user not to view the web page which is not authorised to them.
as far as i understand from the Grocery demo is pick the role (which is a string only) from OID and programaticall apply security via if else endif construct.
can any one through light upto my concern.

as the our application is j2ee app... deployed in oc4j.. with sso and ldap....
still finding to do so....
what i have realized that LDAP is just to store user information in inverted tree... and one have to build separated access security mechnisum that will be applicable to j2ee system....

I know we can create user and group in the tools->security.And if this users is belong to Administrators Group, it can access to RPD and do some modify..
Can we create group or user who can access RPD in some situation(like mentioned in HELP, A can access to repository on Mondays and Wednesdays, B can access to repository on Saturdays and Sundays) and how to set the privilege..

The example specified in Help is about restricting query execution on weekdays/weekends for a particular webgroup. Inorder to configure such access ,
Double click on the web group name -> Query Limits tab ->Click on Restrict button provided against the physical connection pool ->Select Allow/Disallow by selecting a particular time period.

Will some one suggest how to set the severity for messages logged by server to server log file. The admin console consists of setting "Stdout Severity Threshold" which is applicable only to standard out. I need to restrict info messages to be logged in server log file.

Which release of WebLogic Server are you using? In WebLogic 9.0 there is an attribute on the LogMBean called LogFileSeverity which could be configured to "Warning" so it will not allow Debug and Info level messages to be written to the server log file. In the 8.1 release you would need to do this programatically using a startup class, by getting a reference to the server Logger by invoking weblogic/logging/LoggingHelper.getServerLogger() and setting the appropriate weblogic/logging/WLLevel on the weblogic/logging/FilestreamHandler that writes to the server log file.

How to set a fixed size window, so that moving 2D pictures wouldnt go off?

I dont if this question has been asked or no & also not sure if its right to be posted here as my problem is a java 2D graphics problem in swing environment.
I want to know is how can i set the window to a fixed size with boundaries such that my graphics 2D picture in the swing window will not go off the edges of window when i do some transformations with the 2D picture.
For e.g:
so far ive got a frame window of size 350 by 350 with my 2D picture inside it made up of shapes etc...
when i apply some transformation to it (moving it) for a distance it goes disappeared off window beyond 350 and will come back if i move it back.
So how do i restrict the window so that when picture reaches the edge, it will not be able to move any further?
Do i set some specific bounds to the JFrame?

In a 2D coordinate system the horizontal values are represented by some letter, usually x. In the same coordinate system the vertical values are classically represented by y.
Note: In your code, if you wish, you can replace x and y with anything you desire--p and q or perhaps jeff and alice or any variable name you wish, but for simplicity, and usually ease of understanding because almost everyone has had 100's of math problems drilled into their head with (x, y), x and y are used as convention.
In Java the screen coordinates run from 0 to the width-1 for x and 0 to height-1 for y of the component you are using to display.
So logically when you have a value of x or y that goes beyond the addressable bounds of your display, then you have to make some type of adjustment--when your value dips below 0, you reset it to 0, when your value goes above what ever width-1 or height-1 then you have to set that value to width-1 or height-1.
This all assumes that when you hit the wall, floor, or ceiling you stick there until you change directions--if you wish to wrap then you set your value to the opposite bound--so if you go below 0, you would then pop out back in on the right side--your appropriate x would be set to width-1 instead of 0 and in the case of y going below 0 your y would be set to height-1. This is also to say that when you descend below your minimum, then you would pop back out on the opposite side you went out on--so x greater then width-1 would get set to 0 and y greater than height-1 would get set to 0.
That is not even a start on if you want to include elastic collisions, angle of impact, any type of deceleration force, or anything else.
In any case... I would recommend that you add more math to your studies, I've never met an engineer or computer science grad that said: "Wow, I really regret taking all that math in college (or HS), I never use it."

How to set a minimum size of a JFrame

i have written a swing application which starts like this ,

blah blah blah ..
now can you please tell me how to set a minimum size for this application once it starts so that user cant minimize it more than that minimum size.....
when i tried
setDefaultLookAndFeelDecorated(true);
it did my job by setting it to a particular size which wasnt minimizable, but this default look and feel looked ugly.
so i used system look and feel
UIManager.setLookAndFeel(UIManager.getSystemLookAndFeelClassName());
but with this how do i set the minimum size..
please do help
and one thing more , like
in my main Method when i say
new workerclass().setSize(500,500); or say(100,100) or say(300,300)
new workerclass().setVisible(true);
the size (***,***) , doesnt reflect when my application starts, it always starts with some damn fixed size , what can be the issue .

The only thing I can think of is to turn off in-app purchases in the Settings>General>Restriction. However, you may hove to turn off that restriction to buy the books.

Go to T.Code oms4 and then select the material status BP (Blocked for purchasing)
Click on Details
In that under Purchasing select the option A= Warning or B=Error
Click on Save
Thus by doing this no further purchasing function for that material can be done. So the PO can not be issued
So as and when the value limit reaches see that purchasing option is blocked
So no further PO are generated in the future
