How to set Screen type "Selection Screen" in Dialog program

Hi Experts,
I have copied a screen 400 from a program into my program. In that screen in source program, the screen type was defined as 'Selection Screen'. After i copied that screen into my program, the screen type Selection Screen option is disabled. How to set the screen type of a screen to Selection Screen.
I am currently getting the following error
"Error when generating the selection screen "0400" of "Ztest_screen ".
I tried running the generation program RSDBGENA. There the diagnosis was given as follows:
When generating the report Ztest_screen and its selection screen, an existing screen 1000 (not a selection screen) was overwritten.
The selection screen was defined as follows:
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 400 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK blck1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-001.
SELECT-OPTIONS: s_matnr FOR mara-matnr.
PARAMETERS: p_werks TYPE werks_d OBLIGATORY.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK blck1.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 400 .
I am calling the screen 400 with selection screen declarations in PBO of screen 0100.
CALL SUBSCREEN sub_scr INCLUDING 'Ztest_Screen' '400'.
Where am i going wrong? Your inputs are needed.

I had copied the generated screen 400 also from the source program into my program. This was the error. I deleted that and the report got activated now.
Both the source and destination programs are not module pool. They are executable programs.

What is your requirement?
If you just want to create the variant for the selection screeen, then after entering the values on selection screen just press SAVE button.

i had created customized Transaction ,
in that notification field is there , their when they place notification number ,after that when they double click on that, it have to go to iw23 .(so that they will get confirm that notification number is write )
i have tried to use AT LINE-SELECTION event it showing error ,
where i have to write and which event i have to use ?

Once triggered it comes to "At selection screen output"..where we must also mention the case when
radio button 2 is selected RB2 ..the p_vbeln must be input and when RB1 is selected the field
p_vbeln must be display only..Paste the code and see how it works
Then use the logic as desired...

We can get the Program whether this is running in background or not then we need to use SY-BATCH, if the SY-BATCH is set to X then the program is running in Background,
so in the INITIALIZATION event, you can use this SY-BATCH and check the User names, and give the error messsage which you want to restrict

I am trying to get the ME23 screen using selection-screen with following code.
select-options: purordno for ekko-ebeln NO intervals.
SUBMIT SAPMM06E VIA SELECTION-SCREEN .
But at the time of execution i got this error "INCORRECT PROGRAM TYPE WITH SUBMIT".
Can any one please provide me some sample code how to get the ME23 screen
using Abap program.

Hi Rajesh,
You can't submit a pool modul ( SAPMM06E ).
Only executable prog can be submit .
What you can try is use "CALL TRANSACTION" statement.

if it_final [] is initial.
message 'No data available' TYPE 'S' DISPLAY LIKE 'E'.

This will be displayed in the selection screen itself

press save button, it will ask you for the mane of the Variant
Give the name of the Variant and save it

Can you people please let me know how can I put the selection-screen modificaiton For ex:
i have created
parameters a as checbox.
select-options: p_btrtl for p0001-btrtl no-intervals.
now If the check box is selected then p_btrtl we can enter values or esle If check box is not selected then p_btrtl will be grayed out, ( I.e. SCREEN-INPUT = 0)
This is simple from ABAP without LDB. But with LDB can we achieve?????????????

you can use the following logic for the additional selection validation. I have done by using PNP LDB. Ex : I have done for one of the field in IT0377.
