How to set the backcolor of an element in jasper report dynamically
Hi,
I've just start using jasper report for my project. I have a problem that : my report will show some records get from database, I want some data field on report must have "red" backcolor according to its value, for example : if a text value is 3 its back color is red, and others value its backcolor is transparent. I don't know if there are some way to control jasper report script as I use java code in html file.
Please help me, thanks,
Dat.Hi,
I had the same problem. There are two ways (as far as I know) to solve it.
- if you only want to highlight some fields you can create a rectangle with your color and set the printWhenExpression
- if you want to set the color from your DataSource, you can use styled text. Just select styled text from the font panel and use the <style> element in the textFieldExpression like:
"<style backcolor=\"" + $F{COLOR} + "</style>" Hope this helps -

How to print the PDF file contains stamps without set the printer options
I have pdf document, and stamp them with my personal stamp.
With the printer option under "Comments and Forms", I set to "Document", my stamp DISAPPEARED.
Unless re-set (use options) to "Document and Markups" or "Document and Stamps" then it will be fined.
Can I embeding my stamps to my document so that everyone can print without using printer options to contain stamps?
(regarding to whoever don't know how to set the printer options, and keep asking that I did not stamp on the doc.)
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Workflow issue - Main workflow container elements are not updated.
Hi All
We have implemented N-step badi for approval process and for this we have activated one workflow which contains subworkflow .
During approval process , only the subworkflow container elements( approver list and last approver) getting updated with status and time.But main workflow container elements is not updating with these details.
Binding between main workflow and subworkflow is perfect. But reverse binding ( from subworkflow -> main workflow ) will take place once subworkflow is completely finished. But here we will require / need to pass some information from sub workkflow to main workflow when still subworlflow in process( before completed itself).
Please let me know is there any process / steps is required to pass values between subworkflow to main workflow ( binding is perfect).
Please let me the way how I can update the main workflow container from subworkflow container or from any step in sub workflow .
In subworkflow . we have loop of approvers and it will send workitems to approvers one by one.
Here i need to update Main workflow with the information like last approver and approver list with status and approved time.
So please suggest how Can I update main workflow container from subworkflow while subworkflow is still in process( subworkflow not yet completed).
Kindly reply me ASAP.
Thanks and Regards
Madhukar .Yes I am setting SWC_SET_ELEMENT for my container values,the ones for which i have defined as EXPORT.
And I have checked the task also...
Everything has been checked properly..The binding is fine.
Thanks & regards,

Sending image sequence job to compressor in command line : how to set the framerate?
Hello,
In Compressor, when you import a image sequence, it's possible to set the framerate and add an audio file before choosing a preset and lauching the encoding task.
I want to dlo the same thing with command line. I know how to send a compressor job with command line, but no how to add theses settings.
In the compressor command line help, we've got this :
Job Info: Used when submitting individual source files. Following parameters are repeated to enter multiple job targets in a batch
-jobpath <url> -- url to source file.
-- In case of Image Sequence, URL should be a file URL pointing to directory with image sequence.
-- Additional parameters may be specified to set frameRate (e.g. frameRate=29.97) and audio file (e.g. audio=/usr/me/myaudiofile.mov).
So there are also framerate and audio parameters in command line but i've no idea how to write the command line with theses parameters
Here is an example of command line for Compressor (by Apple) :
./Compressor ‑clusterid tcp://127.0.0.1:51737 ‑batchname myBatch ‑jobpath /Volumes/Source/ShortClips/NTSC24p.mov ‑settingpath /Users/stomper10/Library/Application\ Support/Compressor/PhotoJPEG.setting ‑destinationpath /Users/machinename/Movies/myDestinationFilename.mov.
Thank you for your help!You can see in the command sh running-config command
show running-config : Displays the current access point operating configuration
Use the guest-mode SSID configuration mode command to configure the radio interface (for the specified SSID) to support guest mode. Use the no form of the command to disable the guest mode.
[no] guest-mode .
Here is the guideline for usage
The access point can have one guest-mode SSID or none at all. The guest-mode SSID is used in beacon frames and response frames to probe requests that specify the empty or wildcard SSID. If no guest-mode SSID exists, the beacon contains no SSID and probe requests with the wildcard SSID are ignored. Disabling the guest mode makes the networks slightly more secure. Enabling the guest mode helps clients that passively scan (do not transmit) associate with the access point. It also allows clients configured without a SSID to associate.
Examples
This example shows how to set the wireless LAN for the specified SSID into guest mode:
AP(config-if-ssid)# guest-mode
This example shows how to reset the guest-mode parameter to default values:
AP(config-if-ssid)# no guest-mode -
How to set the PATH in Terminal?
As a newbie to Bash and the Terminal, in connection with installing a new version of Ruby and various add-ons, I have been messing around with changing the PATH via various methods I've found on the internet, and trying to add a new directory to my PATH. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to set the PATH correctly. Here is what I understand so far:
1. Bash first looks to ".bash_profile" in the home directory for PATH settings.
2. If none, Bash then looks to ".bash_login" for PATH settings.
3. If none, Bash then looks to ".profile".
4. If none, Bash then looks to a system file in "/etc/profile" for default PATH settings.
5. For a new shell after login, Bash looks for a ".bashrc" file.
I cannot find any of the above files (I have Finder set to show hidden files already). Somehow, following some instructions from the internet without really knowing what I was doing over the past week I have set my PATH as follows:
/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/Users/*****/src:/usr/X11/bin
but I cannot find the file that is setting this PATH. I have tried creating a new ".bash_profile" shell file and putting it in various places such as "/bin" and "/usr/bin" but the file is not being read.
* As a temporary workaround I tried using the command "source .bash_profile" upon login to set the PATH using the .bash_profile file that I created, but it does not work.
* I am able to temporarily alter the path using the command "PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH" but this only lasts for an active shell; when I close out and reopen a new shell, it reverts to the default.
So my questions are:
Is it correct that there is a "/etc/profile" somewhere that is setting the default PATH? If so where is it? Should I alter it, or create a new ".bash_profile" somewhere to set the PATH? If not, where is my PATH being set? If I should create a new ".bash_profile", what exactly should go in it?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.... I created a new ".bash_profile" file directly under my home directory and it worked like a charm. Below is the content of the file:
"PATH=/usr/local/bin:/bin/:/sbin/:/usr/bin/:/usr/sbin/:/Users/******/Ruby:/Users/*******/src:/Users/******/Java Programs/"
What are the "..."'s? Is that just you, or is the contents of the file actually inside of double quotes?
is there an 'export PATH' also in the file? As in
PATH=/usr/local/bin:/bin/:/sbin/:/usr/bin/:/usr/sbin/:/Users/******/Ruby:/Users/*******/src:/Users/******/Java Programs/
export PATH
And did you either restart your Terminal session so your .bash_profile was read, or issue a 'source .bash_profile' command to execute the .bash_profile after your change?
The only remaining problem is that from the home directory, I'm unable to directly run programs in the above-designated subdirectories (without first navigating to the subdirectory containing the file. Is there something wrong with the syntax or order of the directories I put in the path?
For example: there is a file called "newprogram.rb" in the "Ruby" directory listed above. I should be able to execute it from the home directory using "ruby newprogram.rb" but it does not work. The same command works fine from within the "Ruby" directory.
Does the 'ruby' command search PATH to find its scripts?
Have you read the "man ruby" man page to see if it talks about PATH?
A common Unix feature is that programs and scripts with the executable bit set, and are located in a PATH directory, will be run if you just type their names.
For example, if the first line of newprogram.rb script starts with
#!/usr/bin/ruby
and if the script is executable
chmod +x newprogram.rb
And if it is in a directory in PATH, then just typing
newprogram.rb
should run your perl script using /usr/bin/ruby. If you want to use a different version of Ruby, then change the #! line so it point to your version of Ruby. Or if your version of Ruby is found earlier in PATH then the /usr/bin/ruby, you can use
#!/usr/bin/env ruby
as your script's first line which will search PATH for 'ruby' and use the first one it finds.

How to set the 'Configuration Bits' in the PIC16F84
I am using the PIC16F84 in a circuit and I'm programming the assembly for the PIC. However I can't figure out how to set the configuration bits. For example I want to select the LP Oscillator, turn the WDT off, turn the PUT on, and turn the CP off. Normally if I was using the IDE from Microchip I would add the line:
_CONFIG H'3FF0'
However Multsim does not recognize this as a valid code. In addition the P16F84.inc file contains the following definitions:
_CP_ON EQU H'000F'
_CP_OFF EQU H'3FFF'
_PWRTE_ON EQU H'3FF7'
_PWRTE_OFF EQU H'3FFF'
_WDT_ON EQU H'3FFF'
_WDT_OFF EQU H'3FFB'
_LP_OSC EQU H'3FFC'
_XT_OSC EQU H'3FFD'
_HS_OSC EQU H'3FFE'
_RC_OSC EQU H'3FFF'
What is the code though to select which options you want to use?Try this code:
_CONFIG _CP_OFF & _PWRITE_ON & _WDT_OFF & _LP_OSC
I tried this in the assembler and it didn't return any error messages when compiling. I found this in a PIC Book that I downloaded off the internet.
I hope it works for you. I am new to the MCU Module and learning about it so don't consider me an expert on it by a long shot.

How to set the isolation level on Entity EJBs
I am using 10.1.3.3 of the OC4J app server.
I am creating an application that uses EJB 2.1.
I am trying to set the isolation levels on the EJBs to either serializable or repeatable read.
When i deploy the EAR file from the OC4J admin console, i can set the isolation level property on the EJB's however when i inspect the orion-ejb-jar.xml file I do not see the isolation level being set. Furthermore, i tried to manually change the isolation setting by editing the orion-ejb-jar.xml and adding the isolation="serialiable" attribute on the entity bean descriptor. I then stopped and restarted the server. I noticed that my change was no longer in the file.
Can someone please let me know how to solve this problem and set the isolation level on Entity EJBs . ThanksI find it at ejb.pdf from BEA.
The transaction-isolation stanza can contain the elements shown here:
<transaction-isolation>
<isolation-level>Serializable</isolation-level>
<method>
<description>...</description>
<ejb-name>...</ejb-name>
<method-intf>...</method-intf>
<method-name>...</method-name>
<method-params>...</method-params>
</method>
</transaction-isolation>

How to set the price activation process for Purchasing Promotion
Dear All,
In solution we have 2 types of Promotion = Sales and Purchasing.
Is Sales part you are creating benefit conditions (discount, fixed price, free good etc. ) and it will not be active while you are not activating it.
Whenever pricing condition for Purchasing created in wak2 transaction, condition is active as of indicated date. No activation possibility.
I'm trying to figure our the opportunity how to set up the configuration, so when I'm creating condition, it will be in planing status, as long as i did not press the activation button.
Any ideas, suggestions, appreciated.
Best regards,
LizaHi;

How to set the header variables in weblogic
Hi,
We have a following set up in our environment.
We have weblogic and on the top of it we have apex listener deployed which redirects Oracle Apex.
My Issue:
How can we set up the header variables in weblogic once the user is authenticated against weblogic server.
We are struck here, not knowing how to set the header variables in weblogic server. Its fairly straight forward for Oracle Access Manager or others..
Thanks

Instead of placing message into browser status bar (and browser is not the only WD UI agent), use IWDMessageManager API to post messages of such kind:
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSucces("Record inserted");

Does anyone know if the macbook will be in stores today?
I was going to order one, but if they are in stores I will just go pick one up. It will mean having to get a stock configuration and modifying it, but to have it right now would be fun. Kalel
