How to set up airprint with ipod touch 4g

So i have a brand new ipod touch 4g from september and i recently brought a new printer from the apple store which is called the
epson stylus NX420
I just want to know if it is compatible with an ipod touch?

AirPrint won't work with the Epson.
It will only work with about 11 o 12 HP printers.
Check out the list on the Apple site under AirPrint...

  • How to set up "Find My iPod Touch" 3G without MobileMe

Hi, I have an iPod touch 3G and want to set up "Find My iPod Touch" on it, as described here:
    http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/find-my-ipodtouch-setup/
I'm running OS 4.3.4 (8K2) and have iTunes 10.4.1.  I have an AppleID but not a MobileMe account.  I understand that since iCloud is replacing MobileMe, they are not accepting any more subscriptions (not that I'm anxious to pay $99/year for what will now be a free service).  I'm not sure I want to create a new account anyway, because all the apps I own are linked to my current Apple ID which is not an email address.
I have a program called "Hidden" for my Macbook which works via wi-fi.  If I lose the Macbook, I log into the Hidden website and it triggers the Macbook to  broadcast its location via wi-fi (assuming it's within range of a signal).  So I would assume that since an iPod touch has wi-fi capabilities, it could do something similar even though it's not directly linked to the internet like an iPhone.
Does anybody know how I can get this going?
My son has an iPad 2 that is wi-fi only and I would like to set up the same for him.
Thanks for any help you can give!

I updated to OS5, and changed my Apple ID to the email account associated with it on this page:
    http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/manage/
and now Find My iPod Touch is installed!  Resolved!

  • How to set up a new iPod Touch and transfer data from old IPod Touch

ok, it's Friday night, I finished the cheese and about 1/2 a bottle of wine (myself...  not ideal for a smurf my size) and I still can't find the answer to my question after searching [to the best of my most current ability] all over the forums (I even searched long before I started drinking wine). I appologize right now for my ignorance and inability to find the answer on my own.... but could someone PLEASE, just tell me the best way to kill my daughter's Ipod Touch 2nd Gen (advertised as Gen 3, ha, ha, on me), and set up her new-(to-us) Ipod Touch Gen 4? I've already backed up her old device to my computer?  (it's a PC - sorry, it's free from my husband's office)
Do I set up her new-ish Gen 4 as a "new device" or "restore from back up?" She's young enough (grade school - & why she gets old/cheaper HW) that we both still uses my iTunes acct for her device and mine so that I own & can monitor/manage the music that we both listen to... but this time I'll set up her own iCloud acct.  Although the new device (let's call it device B) has been wiped clean from the last user, how do I set it up? New device or restore from bk up? Now that she saved up the $ I paid for it, to pay me, she's driving me crazy about getting it going for her. Her orig/current device, iPod Gen 2ish (we can refer to that as device A) has been backed up to my computer and I'd like to port all of her data (calendar, contacts, pictures/movies, etc) to her new device.  Please help this old mom... my girl is driving me crazy... and I feel bad not delivering her goods.  Many thanks.

  • How to Set Universal time in iPod Touch?

the ipod touch's date and time has been changed by itself,
so i want to change the time in to universal time
Is there a way that i have to set by my self but doing other things?
like example, my window computer's clock is universal time
can i synchronize that in to my iPod?
    What Should I do????
    PLZ Help ME!!

You can set the time zone on your iPod Touch to UTC. Open Settings and proceed from there. See the screen shot...

AFAIK there is no way to natively sync your iPod Touch time with your computers clock. Note the iPod Touch built-in clock is pretty good, in my experience, and exhibits little drift.

  • HT1329 How do you do this with ipod touch?

I have just bought a new laptop as my old one broke and I was wondering if there was a similar method for ipod touch, or a way of redownloading purchased songs.  If you know please tell me! It would be very much apreciated

You can copy purchased tracks from your iPod Touch by connecting it to iTunes, right->clicking on it from under Devices and choosing Transfer Purchases.  You'll want to authorize the new computer first with the same account used to make your purchases.
Otherwise, you can always redownload all of your purchased content via iCloud as described in this Apple support document.

  • How to set up my new iPod Touch 4g

I had one previously but the screen is so cracked up that you can't see the left half of what's going on and I don;t have internet on it.  Anyways, I want to delete that iPod and add this new one in.

    There's nothing to delete.
Connect the new device and either set it up as new or restore from the backup of the old one.

  • How does the texting work with iPod touch?

Want to buy this for my daughter.  How do you text when out of your home wifi zone? Can you text anywhere? And how?

What do you mean by a new wifi address?  You use the same texting address whenevery yu are connected to a wifi network.
The Messages app that comes with iOS 5 will only text to other devices with iOS 5.  There are apps available in the App store like Text+ that alows testing to non-iDevices and iDevces without iOS 5.

HOw do I unlock my daughters iPod touch with no computer? Please help me!

If she set up Find My iPod on it before this happened, follow the instructions listed under "If you don't have access to a computer" here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.  Otherwise, you would have to use a computer to restore it by following one of the other two solutions listed at the bottom of the article.
