I want to set up a password to get onto the internet via my Netgear router.
How?
I don't get all this WEP, WPA or SSID business.
Please can someone give me beginners help?

but feel the need to have a password incase dodgy people want to log on and take over my life

I am trying to add an instruction in /etc/init.d to start a domain automatically every time the server reboots but I have not found a way to set the master password of this domain. I know there is a --passwordfile option but it only has the choice of setting the adminpassword AS_ADMIN_PASSWORD.
asadmin start-domain --passwordfile /var/SUNWapp/password.txt application
cat /var/SUNWapp/password.txt
AS_ADMIN_PASSWORD=xxx // It does not work to start the domain. I need to set the master password
Is there any way to start the domain automatically??? how can I set the password without prompt?

You can also have AS_ADMIN_MASTERPASSWORD in the password file.
"asadmin start-domain" will not prompt for the masterpassword.

ATG 10.1.2 . How to set BCC password through CIM?

I'm new to 10.1.2 version, trying to installing and configure it properly to learn it. With CIM I configured and set Publishing, Production and Staging instances.
I ran BCC after installation (http://localhost:8180/atg/bcc) and was prompted for password - admin/admin or merchandising/merchandising set by default in previous ATG versions didn't work in 10.1.
I learned from ATGInstallGuide that there is no default passwords preset in 10.1.2 and I have to set them though CIM. (Or ACC)
Here what is says:

*default profiles that your environment requires "*
I do remember I was once asked one for password for merchandising user only, and the password I set didn't allow me into BCC, so probably it was for something else.
Please, advise how to set BCC passwords for default account (admin, merchandising and etc) in CIM? I don't see this option in CIM - I everything in CIM and didn't find it
Just in case there is the list of options CIM provides me after running:

CIM will ask for new passwords when you select Create Schema and Import data. If you have forgotten the pwd given by you, you can reset it.

Set local password with secure startup script

Since CPassword has been deprecated by MSFT, I need a secure method to set the password of the local administrator on all workstations. The workaround script that MSFT provided in
the kb article won't work because I have no control over when a computer is on or off. Hence my desire to use a startup script. I logon script would be fine too, but I suspect that wouldn't work since the
end users don't have access to set these passwords.
I can set the password with these commands:
$objUser = [ADSI]"WinNT://./LocalAdmin"
$objUser.SetPassword("NewPassword")
but that exposes the password in the script in plain text, which is worse than the CPassword problem that MSFT "fixed."
So, how can I do this same thing and use a predetermined password without putting it into a logon/startup script in plain text?

Ha, that's also what I'm doing right now. The simplest way to eliminate most of the threats, in my opinion, is:
1) move the script to a separate file share (since Domain\NetLogon is definitely a main target for hackers), and
2) set the permissions to allow Domain Computers Read Only. This will eliminate most of the threats.
If you're still not comfortable having the password in plain text, use the native PS Encryption (Convertto-SecureString and
Convertfrom-SecureString) and use your own key.

Remember this is not a 100% hacker proof solution, but should be good enough to keep away the novices.

We are using workflow and when it fails it we are sending the notification mail to the user on his company mail id, i.e. [email protected]
This is working in the current production system. We are doing the new development which will replace the current production system. The existing Basis team does not know how it was setup in production system and how to set it up in the new system.
When we send any mail notification from workflow we can see the mail in SCOT transaction but it is not received at the specified mail address.
Can any one provide the configuration steps or any document for this.

And one more thing u have to do..
Go to SE11 n open Table sxnodes in change mode.
And change F_ESMTP field to false i.e. BLANK for the Field NODE = SMTP.

Assuming you mean the name and password of the Express itself, connected to the Express, open AirPort Utility on your computer, Select the Express from the list on the left side of the window, choose manual setup, the default password is public you can now rename the Express and change its password, and when finished Update.
Edit: let me correct what I said above, use the assist mode for this work, it is very easy that way.

Last question first, as we need to know what operating system that the Mac is using.
If you are not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click About This Mac, and post back with the OS X Version number that you see there.

((EMPLOY_STATUS = 0) OR (EMPLOY_SUBGROUP = 2)) * enter value IF_TRUE + enter value IF_FALSE
Then create the condition to HIDE the rows having those values to be filtered (if this is your purpose)..
