How to set up port configurations under Tomcat

Hi Friends,
I want to run 3 different jsp/servlets applications on a single Tomcat instance installed on my system.I want all of them to listen to different ports say for eg. 3000,3005 and 3010.So can someone pls tell me what changes I need to make in the Tomcat's server.xml.
Thanks

I THINK you can to do this by defining multiple <connector> properties.
I THINK it is possible to have multiple <connector>'s as long as they are all on different ports.
Post back if you are able to do this, I would be interested to see if it can be done.

  • How to set up port forwarding on extreme with NAS

    I've purchased a NAS (Synology DS211j with 2 caviar HD) over a month ago. Setting up the NAS for wireless connection locally was easy. I've been trying for 3 weeks on how to set-up port forwarding on my airport extreme base. I''ve researched and read countless threads on port forwarding and still cannot grasp the concept and the step by step provided.  I need somebody that's patient enough to hand hold and guide me through this frustrating problem.
    Equipment:
    Comcast cable modem connected into Airport Extreme Base
    Synology DS211j connected to Airport Extreme Base
    Problem:
    Cannot connect to my DiskStation via internet from wherever
    confused whether to use FTP or Personal file sharing or whatever is the most suitable for my needs
    Just need to access files on my DiskStation view/upload/download from wherever I'm at, whether on PC or Macbook Pro
    Thanks in advance!

    Here are the basic steps to configure your NAS for port mapping:
    AEBSn - Port Mapping Setup
    To setup port mapping on an 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), either connect to the AEBSn's wireless network or temporarily connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to one of the LAN port of the AEBSn, and then use the AirPort Utility, in Manual Setup, to make these settings:
    1. Reserve a DHCP-provided IP address for the host device.
    AirPort Utility > Select the AEBSn > Manual Setup > Internet > DHCP tab
    On the DHCP tab, click the "+" (Add) button to enter DHCP Reservations.
    Description: <enter the desired description of the host device>
    Reserve address by: MAC Address
    Click Continue.
    MAC Address: <enter the MAC (what Apple calls Ethernet ID if you are using wired or AirPort ID if wireless) hardware address of the host computer>
    IPv4 Address: <enter the desired IP address>
    Click Done.
    2. Setup Port Mapping on the AEBSn.
    AirPort Utility > Select the AEBSn > Manual Setup >Advanced > Port Mapping tab
    Click the "+" (Add) button
    Service: <choose the appropriate service from the Service pop-up menu>
    Public UDP Port(s): <enter the appropriate UDP port values>
    Public TCP Port(s): <enter the appropriate TCP port values>
    Private IP Address: <enter the IP address of the host server>
    Private UDP Port(s): <enter the same as Public UDP Ports or your choice>
    Private TCP Port(s): <enter the same as Public TCP Ports or your choice>
    Click "Continue"

    A typical APEX login page includes a process called Clear Page(s) Cache, with a sequence of 30. If the process you have create has a higher sequence (>30) it will see a null page values as they have been cleared already.

  • How to set the ports on wrt150n for my xbox360

    help me!!!!!!!  I need evry step

    I just contacted Linksys/Cisco about this problem of the WRT150N not connecting properly with the Xbox 360 Live.
    The support person online said this model does suport it.
    I do not know if this person was right or not but here was the advice they gave online:
    1. Assign static IP, subnet mask, gateway and DNS on the Xbox 360.
    a) Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard.
    b) Select Network Settings.
    c) Select Edit Settings to adjust your:
    IP Settings (IP Address = 192.168.1.20, Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway = 192.168.1.1)
    DNS Settings (Primary = 4.2.2.1, Secondary = 4.2.2.2)
    2. Port forwarding
    88 (udp)
    3074 (tcp & udp)
    a) Access the router's web-based setup page and click on Applications and Gaming tab.
    b) Under Port Range Forwarding sub tab, we will enter two entries for us to forward the two ports.
    First Entry
    Name = Xbox360a
    Start = 88
    End = 88
    Protocol = UDP
    IP Address = 192.168.1.20
    Enabled = Checked
    Second Entry
    Name = Xbox360b
    Start = 3074
    End = 3074
    Protocol = Both
    IP Address = 192.168.1.20
    Enabled = Checked
    c) Save the settings.
    3. Still on the router's web-based setup page, click on Setup tab.
    a) Set MTU from Auto to Manual.
    b) Change the MTU size from 1500 (default) to 1365.
    c) Scroll down and save the settings.
    4. Power cycle. Unplug the power adapter of the router for 10 seconds and plug it back again.
    5. On your Xbox 360:
    a) Go back to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard.
    b) Select Network Settings.
    c) Select Test Xbox Live Connection.
    d) After the system has completed its tests, select More Info to learn more about your network, paying close attention to any test that failed.
    I checked more with Linksys and here is a Web page related to this, but note that this is for Xbox and not Xbox360. What is interesting to note is this from the PDF: " Before proceeding, please take note that Linksys does NOT support the configuration of Xbox™. The following instructions simply tell you how to configure the router for the Xbox™, not the game console itself. For technical support on the Xbox™, contact Microsoft."
    I think this may support my case that Linksys and Xbox are not good friends.

    P.S. - It is my guess that Linksys/Cisco is wrong here; that they have not recognized the problem or are not willing at this time time to acknowledge it. What do you think?

    Hello all
    I have one of two problems
    1. I have a problem whereby I have recently purchased a K7N2G (MS-6570) with Athlon XP 2800 256kb cache 333mhz cpu.
    I have fitted it inside the motherboard and when I start the computer it says that I have a Athlon XP 1350? -Please, what settings would I need to change so that the motherboard identifys my CPU properly?
    2. I moved my old hard drive to my new computer and when I leave the computer to carryon booting through to the operating system it displays an error message  that the EMM 386 manager wasnt installed? and I have to intervene so it can continue. Is it because I am using DDR memory 256 or that the settings on the motherboard havent been set yet properly?
    Please aid me,
     many thanks.

  • How to set the rounding configuration ??

    I am trying to round up currency in sap b1 round up to 2 Digits.
    just like the roundup function in MS EXCEL.
    for example :
      1.223 ==== > 1.23
      1.225 ==== > 1.23
      1.229 ==== > 1.23
      1.220 ==== > 1.22
    how can I do it in sap b1 ?
    Best Regard
    Albert

    First , thank you for your answer. you are so kindly.
    yes,my case need a round-up function just like work as MS EXCEL.
    look here..
    in case , we input a value 1.231 , than we hope the software can change the value 1.231 to 1.24 and stored the value.
    we say this action as "<b>Round-Up</b>". this is a little difference to "ROUNDING"
    this is very important for multi-currency in some special situation.
    for explame , a very low cost item sales  :
    <b>step 1:</b>
    A item in mater data , we input the price in local currency as $NT 40.80 (taiwan dollar)
    <b>Step 2:</b>
    we setup the exchange rate to USD as $33.14
    <b>step 3:</b>
    when we create an A/R invoice and sale 1 pcs of this item in US dollar.
    <b>step 4 :</b>
    SAP B1 well change the price as USD $1.23 (<b>$40.80 / 33.14 = $1.231 )</b>.
    BUT !!!
    my customer expect SAP B1<b> round up $1.231 to $1.24</b> just work as <b>MS EXCEL</b> "roundup" function.
    because , if he use the SAP B1 my customer sales the item for 10000 pcs in USD, he will lost USD $100.
    my customer told me , this round-up fuction in excel is a very basic action.
    why sap b1 don't work for this fuction ?
    if you have any other questions, may maybe you can study the help file in excel.
    or you can see this web page:

    How to steup rounding function as round up in sap b1 ?

  • How do you set up port forwarding on an IPad 3 4g connection?

    Please let me know how to set up port forwarding on the iPad to point an outside port to one of the devices connected to my iPad hotspot. Thanks.

    I'm not sure if the 5.4.1 version that you have will do what you want. Did you mean to say that you had installed the 5.6.1 version?
    Sorry, I do not have a PC here handy to test, so you will need to wait for another PC user who can give you step by step instructions.
    This article should get you going on Port Forwarding basics:

  • How do I set the port number on my Ipad

    I need to find out how to set the port number on my IPad to use Telus Email which will receive but not send

    You will not be able to send any mail until you tell it the outgoing mail server.
    How did you learn about the port number?  If you google your isp and the words mail settings, you will likely find a page with all of the needed settings, including the outgoing server name, and a confimation of the port needed.
    Once you know those two answers, go to the setting screen, and touch the outgoing server field, and you will be able to enter the name.  Spell it right. Then touch the advance tab, then, the port number, and enter the proper port number.
    If you get those entries right, you should be all set.

    Power on the Time Capsule for a few minutes, then hold in the reset button firmly with a ball point pen or something similar for 10 seconds and release. Allow a full minute for the Time Capsule to restart to a slow, blinking amber light.
    Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <--> Ethernet ports on the back of the Uverse router to the WAN "O" port on the Time Capsule
    On your Mac, open up Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
    Click on the Other WiFi Devices tab
    Click on the Time Capsule
    The setup utility will open up automatically and take a minute to analyze the connections then suggest a setup on a screen that looks like this:
    Type in a simple name that you want to use for the Wireless Network Name
    Type in a name that you want to use for the Time Capsule device
    Type in a password
    Verify the password
    Click Next
    The utility will set everything up for you in a minute or two. When you see the message of Setup Complete on the screen, click Done
    You can now log onto the wireless network that you created by selecting the name and entering the password
    Post back on your progress and we will next get backups going again
