How to set up RV042 as PPTP client?

Hello all,
I'm trying to set up an local RV042 soho router (behind a double-NAT) as a PPTP VPN client to a remote RV042 set up as a PPTP server on a public IP. Because of the double NAT and the fact that I can't control the local NAT router, I have to use PPTP rather than IPsec. I've verified that PPTP works fine from my laptop behinf\d the NAT to the remote RV042. Is there a way to set up my local RV042 to work this way? Thanks!

  • 1242AG How to set a password on wireless client

    Listen I wasn't able to get these woking as a Root-Bridge & Non-Root Bridge but was able to get them to work as Root-Bridge with Wireless. Ok I'm out here in the middle of nowhere in Iraq so i say fine just put a password on the wireless client but it seem no matter what I do I cant get to the place to just secure it with a password.
    Please any help much appreciated.
    Thanks

    From your query I understand that you are trying to configure some form of authentication for Wireless clients accessing the wireless bridge. Read the following document which explains how to configure the AP/Bridge as a local radius server to authentication clients.

  • Archivelink - how to set valid in only some clients, not in others?

    Hi,
    We’re building an ASP-solution, where storage of outgoing documents will be an optional service, where the customers that choose to use the functionality will have to pay for it. Each customer will run in a separate client in the same instance.
    Now, what we need to figure out is how to deactivate the functions for those customers that choose NOT to pay for the service. As the repositories are cross-client, and configuration/customizing will be as close to identical as possible in the different client, we have problems identifying how to do this. It is not a viable option to change configuration for some customers - we’re talking lots of clients here….
    Does anyone have a proposal for how we could handle this situation?
    Best regards,

    A first generation AirPort Express cannot "wirelessly extend" a wireless network, but you can connect it to any router with an Ethernet cable. It can then serve as a wireless access point and be used to connect any USB-only printer.

  • Setting timeout of web service client

    I created a web service client using the java proxy for
    a web service by running my web service in weblogic workshop test browser and by using
    the jar file created by clicking on "Java Proxy" button.
    i am calling my web service my adding code similar to this and it works
    HelloWorld_Impl proxy = new HelloWorld_Impl();
    HelloWorldSoap soapProxy = proxy.getHelloWorldSoap();
    But, i am not sure how to set the timeout of my client programatically.
    Is there a way to do this ?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Anyway,
    I figured it out myself, by looking at other posts and applying some reflection API
    HelloWorld_Impl proxy = new HelloWorld_Impl();
    HelloWorldSoap soapProxy = proxy.getHelloWorldSoap();
    // I learnt that this soapProxy is infact an object of HelloWorldSoap_Stub class
    HelloWorldSoap_Stub myStub = (HelloWorldSoap_Stub)proxy.getHelloWorldSoap();
    BindingInfo bInfo = (BindingInfo)myStub._getProperty("weblogic.webservice.bindinginfo");
    bInfo.setTimeout(5); //secs
    myStub._setProperty("weblogic.webservice.rpc.timeoutsecs", "5"); // secs
    // finally you can call the methods of the web service
    soapProxy.Hello();
    Please be aware that, upon time out, you would get an exception : <class = java.rmi.RemoteException
    cause = javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: javax.xml.rpc.JAXRPCException:java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out.>
    Also, my env : Weblogic 8.1 SP4

    I will connect to server and monitor the remote server JVM , There is a object of User, I want to change its value by the Java Debugger Interface by client.
    so how to set its value by the client, and I can not got the User bean at client.
    I know the basic type filed value changed as follows:
    Value newValue = vmMachine.mirrorOf("change var value");// this field is a string.
    stackFrame.thisObject().setValue(field, newValue);
    But a Object , how can I change its value.
    Thanks Advanced.

    ObjectReference.setValue() is the method for chaining the value of an Object's field. First you need to find the specific Object you want to change, though.

  • How to set JMS clients to use JVM Invocation layer

    Hi,
    I'm not sure if this JBoss specific (but I'm assuming it's not) so I'll be asking it here. How can I set my JMS clients and Message-Driven Beans to use JVM Invocation layer since the clients and queues will reside in the same JVM.
    Thanks in advance.

    May be that explains why I couldn't successfully integrate ActiveMQ with JBoss. I was using the 3.0 version. I'll try again once I find the time.
    Anyway, do you know how to set JBoss JMS clients and MDBs to use JVM invocation or transport layer instead of UIL2?
    I'm not sure if what I've done is correct But here's what I've done.
    For jvm-il-service.xml, I changed the JNDI reference from "ConnectionFactory" to "JVMILConnectionFactory" since the default service uses "ConnectionFactory". Then I used that reference as my JNDI look up in my JMS client. I'm just not sure how to do this with MDBs. I think I should add an entry in the ejb descriptor file but I need someone to confirm.
    Thanks.

  • JAX-WS: How to set headers on generated client?

    Hello
    Im trying to build a client to consume the web service defined here: http://my.hot-sos.net/HTNGListener/HTNGListener.asmx?WSDL
    I've use the wsimport tool to generate the classes and one of the services (ping) works fine.
    The other servcies, however, are giving me this error:
    javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Server was unable to process request. ---> No HTNG Header found in Soap Header

    at $Proxy30.receiveMessageSync(Unknown Source)
    at com.pogo.test.HelloWorldClient.main(HelloWorldClient.java:29)I think the problem is that the service expects a header. The generated code has a HTNGHeader factory but I cant find a method where to add this header to the request.
    <wsdl:operation name="ReceiveMessageSync">
    <soap12:operation soapAction="http://htng.org/1.1/Listener.Wsdl#ReceiveMessageSync" style="document" soapActionRequired="true" />
    <wsdl:input>
    <soap12:body use="literal" />
    <soap12:header message="tns:ReceiveMessageSyncHTNGHeader" part="HTNGHeader" use="literal" />
    </wsdl:input>
    <wsdl:output>
    <soap12:body use="literal" />
    <soap12:header message="tns:ReceiveMessageSyncHTNGHeader" part="HTNGHeader" use="literal" />
    </wsdl:output>
    </wsdl:operation>This is how Im trying to invoke:
    HTNGListener listener = new HTNGListener();
    HTNGListenerSoap stub = listener.getHTNGListenerSoap();
    stub.ping();
    org.htng._1_1.header.ObjectFactory headerOF = new org.htng._1_1.header.ObjectFactory();
    HTNGHeader header = headerOF.createHTNGHeader();
    header.setTimeStamp(DatatypeFactory.newInstance().newXMLGregorianCalendar() );
    //I've created the header, but dont know how to set it.
    String request = "<GetMessages/>";
    System.out.println(stub.receiveMessageSync(request));Any advise is more than welcome.
    Thanks

    How are you even getting the WSDL to parse? I get:
    parsing WSDL...

    http://javafaq.nu/java-example-code-503.html
    This works with mobile operators without proxy, but does nothing when the operator uses a proxy. The question is, exactly how to set the proxy and port values for using that code.

    It's part of the cellular settings, and is usually set up by your 3G provider. You can't choose your own proxy server

  • As a webservice client, how to set character encoding for JAX-WS?

    I couldn't find the right API to set character encoding for a webservice client. What I did is
    1, wsimport which gives me MyService, MyPortType...
    2. Create new MyService
    3. Get MyPort from MyService
    4. Call myPort.myOperation with objects
    Where is the right place to set character encoding and how to set it? Thanks.
    Regards
    -Jiaqi Guo

    The .js file and the html need to have the same encoding. If
    your html uses iso-8859-7, then the .js must also use that. But if
    the original text editor created the .js file using utf-8, then
    that is what the html needs to use.

    The OS level timeout (tcp_ip_abort_cinterval on Solaris) is applicable to this situation. It is set to "180000" (3 minutes) by default e.g.
    bash-3.00# ndd -get /dev/tcp tcp_ip_abort_cinterval
    180000
    Is there any way to shorten the default time out ?( I mean to connect the second server faster if the first one failed.)Try changing the OS level parameter.
    If there is only a particular IP address causing the problem, you may want to make use the IP_ACCESS mapping table and the $I flag to skip over this IP address:
