Are you referring to Secure Chat for Facebook? If yes you need to contact Ultiapp, LLC for support. You did notice the 1 star ratings?

    Some experimenting lead me to believe that it is indeed possible to setup iChat 4 to sign and encrypt messages without a MobileMe account.
    1. Open Keychain Access
    2. From the Keychain Access menu, choose Certificate Assistant > Create a certificate…
    3. Select Self-Signet Root and check Let me override defaults
    4. Click Continue until you come to the section Extended Key Usage Extension
    5. Notice the iChat Signing and iChat Encryption options
    I am just curious, have anyone managed to actually setup secure chatting in a non-MobileMe chat account? Such as Jabber? Where do you get the certificates from? (I know self-signed certificates wouldn’t work.)

    Hi,
    AIM allows several form of Encryption and the Apple MobilMe and the previous .Mac system are allowed.
    There are Add-ons for AIM itself but I have not looked into whether they use sites that create certificates iChat can use.

    we are facing an issue with invoking a secured webservice.
    we tried 3 things
    1.) set the username/password in em under reference properties
    2.) Created a schema, set the username/password and included it in partner link header tab.
    3.) added a client token policy in em and then set http authentication field.
    all these not working.
    the error we are facing is :
    Non Recoverable System Fault :

    You need to attach the below policy in security section (Select your partnerlink in the references section of composite.xml and the click on "Configure WS policies")
    oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy
    if it is Secured Webservice, then attach this policy
    oracle/wss_username_token_over_ssl_client_policy
    After attaching policy, click edit and configure the key(out of box, u see one key csf-key) . This key should be setup with the required username and password that matches with the Webservice expected username and pwd.

  • How to set portal security context for a procedure

    Hi, I have procedure that needs to call some of the PDK APIs (WWSBR_API), but outside the scope of the web browser, i.e, automatically via a DBMS_JOB or queue. There is no HTML outputted, but rather a log entry made to a custom table.
    The schema that this custom pkg belongs has all the necessary grants made to it from provsyns so that it should run.
    How do I programatically set the context of the portal security so as to make the PDK APIs think it has been invoked by a Portal Adminstrator or a user with sufficient privs to perform the actions against the PDK and therefore not bomb out with security exceptions? I have seen this documented quite some time ago, but cannot find the details.

    The listener security has change from previous 9i versions to 10g
    In Oracle 10g, the listener now uses local OS authentication. As long as one runs lsnrctl
    as the same user as the running listener they will be able to fully administer
    it without providing the password.
    This security feature is enabled by default and can be identified at listener
    startup, or when issuing a LSNRCTL STATUS command, by the following output:
    Security ON: Local OS Authentication
    If you set a listener password, lsnrctl status command show
    Security ON: Password or Local OS Authentication

  • Where and how to set a security code for wi-fi connection

    I am running OS 10.8.5 on my MacBook Air and have an Apple Wi-Fi personal connection.  I havn't needed a security code for my network but we are trying to add a wi-fi connection to our Dish Network Whole Home system which consist of two receivers.  In the set-up procedure it asked for a "Security Key" and we don't have one.  I cannot find anything that will work in this step and it will not connect w/o one.  I do not how to do this nor can I find an area for this option.  Can anyone tell me how to do this ?  The Dish Network "connection kit" is set up for wireless.  I have tried the #'s on the modem itself and various others I found in the system preferences under wi-fi.  I am at a complete loss here !!!!!!
    Thank you in advance for your help b/c I KNOW there is someone out there that knows how to do this.  And....it likely is a very easy thing to do - just not me !!

    However, I encountered another problem. After created users in shared service, I could not see it in
    application even after refresh secutiry.
    Another problem is that I could not apply filters by Essbase administration console. The Edit User/Group access function is disabled.
    Therefore, even I selected a user I could not apply the filter. Does anyone know how to enable the function?

    Since iChat 5 came Out (OS 10.6.x) AIM have moved their registration page and Apple have put up that notice.
    AIM Registrations are here
    @Mac.com registrations are here  (Keep passwords to 16 characters or less (AIM Server Limit))
    @me.com name can be gained now from registering for iCloud but they will only work in iChat 6 and Messages beta  (this is due to a dual Login to AIM and to me.com that allows aim to "See" the password - which iChat 5 cannot do)
    Jabber names/IDs work.
    GoogleMail IDs are Jabber names (Enable Talk on your Account)
    Facebook also run a Jabber server (enable Chat on your settings)
    Other Jabber servers are about but tend to need s athirds Party app to register that way as few have Web Sites to register  (Jabber Australia is an exception).

    Hi…logon to router’s setup page, open I.E. on computer and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 it would ask you for username and password, put “admin” (default password for router) as password without any username, linksys setup page would pops up…click on wireless tab>> wireless security >> setup WEP or WPA select any of these security and save the settings.

    Hi there.
    I connected Officejet Pro L7750 to wireless broadband router and all is well. Only problem is that all computers on the network can install the drivers and connect to the printer. How do I limit the printing capabilities only to 2 computers so the rest of the network won't be able to print to this printer?

    Quite a few questions there, Sends, but I will do what I can to answer them. 
    I would first recommend buying a router, even if it is one that you won't connect to the internet and network this with your other PCs and the printer. This will give you the best functionality and results for what you are attempting to do. 
    Additionally, the Auto Off feature of the printer can be disabled, and is not affected by the connection type. You can usually go through the Setup Menu and select Tools to change the options there on the energy saving features. 
    Lastly, the auto off feature on your computer is a Windows question, but an easy one to answer. If you are on a laptop you can right-click on the battery in the service tray (bottom right hand corner) and change the energy conservation settings. 
    You might be better off installing the printer through the USB cord and alternating that based on when you are using it, but that would be optimal only if you are printing only a few documents on an irregular basis. A networked connection is the easiest to manage over several computers, honesty, but you do have some requirements for that connection and limitations as well.
