The iPhone has a feature called "Activation Lock" described here:

Without that Apple ID, you will not be able to use that iPhone.

How can I use voicemail on my iphone 4s? Here it says "Cannot connect to voicemail". What should I do? I'm from philippines. Is there any code or something that I should do first?

I think I worked out a solution given my equipment.  I was looking around on other forums and I found the following post concerning the ability for iPhone 4S to be on 3G and wifi simultaneously.
"I know this thread is old and op may have discovered the answer already. However, I am posting this just in case someone else might be looking for a solution.
The solution does not require any additional software nor require a jailbreak.
All you need to accomplish this is already built into every iPhone and iPad with 3G.
Connect to your wifi and write down the IP address your router assigned you. Then, select static tab instead of DHCP and fill in the IP address your DHCP server assigned to your iPad. Next, fill in the subnet mask but leave the rest of the fields empty.
You now have access to your wifi as well as 3G.
I ran into this issue when I wanted to use live traffic using 3G for my iPad's GPS and still connect to my GoFlex Satellite using wifi. It works extremely well."
AFter configuring my phone to the router, as mentioned above, I connected my Apple TV to the same router.  Using the mirroring option I was able to airplay Netflix, You Tube and Flixster flawlessly from my phone to the big screen.  Direct TV and HBO GO did not work however.
I Then tried to access items directly from Apple TV thinking that it could use the data from my phone.  I was wrong.  So all in all I'm able to stream about half of my movie entertainment applications given my situation.  I'm pleased.

  • How can i download voicemail from my iphone to my computer

How can i download voicemails from my iphone 5 to computer

The sync is one way - computer to ipod.  The exception is itunes purchases:  File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Have you failed to do this?

Have you contacted your carrier? Voicemail is a carrier feature. If you're talking about Visual Voicemail, not all carriers support such.

  • Does any one know how to set up runbox email with iphone

Does any one know how to set up my runbox email so that I can access it through my i phone?

Per this link, it appears you can access a runbox email account as an IMAP or POP account.
    http://www.runbox.com/
Are you currently accessing your runbox email account with the Mail.app or with another email client on your Mac?
If so, you should be able to use the same account settings used when creating the account with the email client on your Mac. If you are accessing the account with an email client on your Mac and you want to keep all server stored mailboxes for the account synchronized with the server with the email client on your Mac and with the iPhone's mail client, you should access the account as an IMAP account with both email clients.
If you are accessing the email account with the Mail.app on your Mac, you can transfer the account settings from your Mac to the iPhone's mail client via the iTunes sync process - which is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
I'm unable to open their support link with a failed to open page error message - looks like they have a scheduled downtime due to server park relocation so I assume this is affecting access to their support link.

  • HT201436 How can I transfer voicemails from my iphone 4 to my new Iphone 5?

How can I transfer old voicemails from my iphone 4 to my new Iphone 5?  My mother just passed a few months ago and I only have a few voicemails from her that I don't want to lose and would like to keep on my new phone if possible.
    Thank you,

Voicemails are stored on by your wireless provider, and should be accessible regardless of what phone you use.
there are also third party apps that can download them for you to your computer.

  • How to set up push email to iphone

Can anyone tell me how to set up my snow leopard server and my iphone so that I get push email, calendar and addressbook? I can't find this anywhere in the manuals.
    Thanks,

Mac OS X Server 10.6 Snow Leopard Server does not support push notifications to iOS devices.
See Supported push mail accounts on iPhone and iPod touch (HT2625) and Mac OS X Server v10.6: Push Notification Server and supported applications (HT3947) for the official details.
From the second article, Currently, iOS Mail and Calendar apps do not support Push Notifications from Mac OS X Server v10.6.

  • How do you delete voicemail messages from iphone 5s

I'm trying to delete voicemail messages from iphone 5s.  Based on visiting previous discussions on this subject, I've tried "resetting network settings" and "turning airport mode ON, deleting messages, then turning airport mode OFF" -- to no avail. I'm receiving an alert that I've reached capacity...please assist. I run my business on my iPhone and right now I'm missing opportunities.
Thanks in advance for your expediency.

  • How do I transfer voicemail from the iPhone to the iMac?

    Hi,
When I upgraded from iPhone 3S to iPhone 4S, the voicemail on the old phone didn't transfer to the new phone.  The old voicemails are still resident on my old phone even though service to that phone has been turned off.  I can still listen to them.  I would like to save them permanently by porting them to my iMac.  A guy at an AT&T store (my iPhone carrier) said I could port them to my iMac using an aux cable, the headphone jack on my iPhone, the audio in jack on my iMac, and Garage Band.  I have not been able to get that to work but I've never used Garage Band so I may be doing something wrong.  Will that method work and if not, is there another way to get the messages ported?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
    Michael

    All,
Thanks for looking this over.  A friend pointed me to PhoneView (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/) and that did the trick so all set.
    Thanks,
    Michael
