How to set Workstation Name on Solaris 10?

Hi.
I have problems with setting workstation name.
I tryed to do it with Management Console, but system crashed, because there was missmatch between the name in few files. So I installed Solaris 10 again.
How to change workstation name?

There are two /etc/hostname files, they are empty: hostname and hostname6.
/etc/hosts has what I need to change.
I was unable to find /etc/nodename.
Will it work, if I'll change only /etc/hosts and make "hostname <new hostname>"?
In previous time when my system crashed, I changed: /etc/hosts, but it didn't work.

You can't do that. Only the sending number is transmitted by the carrier with an SMS message. If the recipient has you in their address book, with most smart phones and some others, the name will display, but that's a function of the phone on the receiving end.

Sending files from an FTP server to another FTP server without using the integraiton repositary,and the file name is not changed .Now, we want to also send the file to some with by mail adapter.The scenario now works by using two business services in receiver determination.But the name of the attachment is "untitled.xml".We know how to set the file name staticly,but how to set the name dynamicly according to the source file name ?

Under the Developer tab in Infopath you can manage Loading Events, unfortunetly i dont have Visual Studio on this PC so i cant laborate, but i believe it's rather simple to figure out.
Edit: Found a easier way, through Data > Default Values.

How to set the name for an 'unknown' file extension?

Specifics:
I have various file extensions that are recognized by my mac. I would like to know how to create a list of applications that can open it so I do not get a 'There is no Default Application to open this file' error. I would also like to be able to give these file extensions names recognized by the mac.
Just like .txt is a "Textedit Document" and .html is a "HTML Document," I'd like to be able to change the name and assosication of a file and give it its own .icns if possible.
As for the default applications, I know how to set a default application. However, if a mac does not recognize a file extension, adding a new default application to run the file wil actually erase the old one, which is a big pain, especially when your file can be opened with ANY text editor.
I understand that this may involve hacking into the operating system's databases, but if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

In the Process request of the controller, i am finding the checkbox bean and assigning the firepartialaction for it.
Later in the process form request for the fired event, i am trying to handle the rendered property of the messagetextinput. Is this a right approach?

I feel it is because during authentication we give the login name (which is taken as the display name).

How to set a proxy in solaris 11

After long research, I found the below syntax for setting up proxy in Solaris 11. And this works as well.
But what will be the syntax if my passwd contain @ symbol, generally most of the passwords contains @ symbol, but this is not working if the password has @ symbol, it's considering as the other domain. I reset my password plain (without any symbol) and working fine.

sure you can: Create a subclass of DefaultTableModel and overwrite the method public String getColumnName(int) which returns the column name of a specific column. Then use this subclass as the data model for the table.

Setting Workstation name automatically after/before imaging

I am planning on imaging 150 workstations from one base image. Currently, the workstation name (computername or wsname) is 'uitdelen'. All imaged workstation also receive this name.
In the past i used the tool WSNAME to change the name upon first boot using the /GH switch.
But doing this on 150 PCs is troublesome.
What i would like is that i have a txt file with the serial numbers of the machines, and the workstation name (computername) it should receive. This file would have to be read by the Zen 7 boot CD (i use 6.5, but use the 7 bootcd, because that recognises the nic, where the PXE doesnt)
Any hints?

How to set file name and destination folder without user interaction

how can I set the file name and destination folder to generate a pdf file like "c:\myfolder\document.pdf" in this folder automatically.
Is there a tag in .joboptions ?
Goal: User click print button. In the background a pdf will be generated in e.g. "C:\myfolder\document.pdf".
that`s it.
I know that the query dialog for save as can be turned off. But the file name depends on the application.

Using TCS 5, RH11, FM12, all patched up, if I set a marker, such as "Filename" in FrameMaker, can RoboHelp use the contents of that marker to set the file name of the HTML file it creates? How? Thoughts?

How to set User Name in session?

Can anyone tell me if there is an user name variable already stored in a session object to which I can assign the user's name? I usually do this by storing a variable in the session to hold that name. When I print the session object (I am using websphere) I get the following...You will notice that there is a user name field that has value anonymous....how can i change that to store the actual users name?

ok I did some more reading on the websphere literature and came to understand that the User Name indicated there was really set as part of an authenticated request from a secure page. And if the request was in an insecure page websphere automatically assigns "anonymous" to it.

Sessions created in unsecured pages are created under the identity of that "anonymous" user.
Sessions in secured pages are treated as accesses by the authenticated user.
Sessions created in secured pages are created under the identity of the authenticated user. They can only be accessed in other secured pages by the same user. To protect these sessions from use by unauthorized users, they cannot be accessed from an insecure page.
