How To: Setting up two WLANs (Private and Guest) - two distinct IP schemes.

WLC 2504 running software version 7.4.100.0.
Goal:
Private WLAN to allow access to internal network
Guest WLAN to allow access to web (in the DMZ)
We currently have the wifi-network running and is servicing web access only.
Any ideas on how best to go about this? There will be need to assign two different IPs to wireless clients depending on which WLAN they access.

Hello Daniel,
So in order to segregate traffic based on the WLAN they are connecting to, you will first need to establish/create dynamic interfaces on your controller which will be 'mapped' to a specific SSID(ie. Private or Guest):

If you already have the dynamic interfaces in place, you simply just create the WLAN under WLANs > Create New > Go. Once you apply, you will be sent to the 'General' section where you can apply the 'Interface' to the dynamic interface you created in which to put the client on.

If the apps that are on your son's iPad were purchased under his Dad's Apple ID, then signing your Apple ID onto the iPad will not help you with updating those apps.
Also, if the iPad was sync'd with his Dad's iTunes library, then hooking it up to your computer/iTunes library, will require you to reset the iPad, and everything that was loaded under the other Library and Apple ID will be wiped out.
Can you provide a little more info about what was set up under which Apple ID and what iTunes library the iPad was sync'd with?

if the data is multiple i.e. line items choose table.
if the data is single i.e. fixed choose template.
Create table
> Draw u r no lines
> choose option select pattern
> select display framed patterns
Choose u r required one.
out lined, or full lined. u can choose option.

That's a good question - I've been trying since fios came out with fios tv central to view the tv guide online. It keeps saying "invalid user name/password". I've changed them numerous times, contacted online help, talked to phone help (who's also baffled), all to no avail. I actually saw the guide once when I first visited the site, so it exists. Please let me know if you figure out how to get on there because setting the favorites has to be a breeze compared to that.

Yes, either by a wireless connection or Ethernet connection to the base station.....assuming that both the base station and extender are using firmware 7.6.3 or higher and AirPort Utility 6.3 is used to configure both AirPorts, which must be dual band models.

I think you can set presets in camera RAW (I'm at work now so I can't tell you the exact method), but setting contrast and brightness to zero gives you an ugly image, and you will most likely move the contrast up and the brightness up, so I'm not sure you are really gaining anything by having a default of 0 contrast and 0 brightness.
The defaults chosen by Adobe are reasonable.

FCE should always live on your system drive. Use the external as your Scratch Disk. You will select this in System Settings in FCE. I create a folder on the external for my projects and point FCE to it.
Keep your project files on your system drive as well as your autsave vault if you use that. You can put your other files, such as wavefrom caches on the external, though I leave them on my system drive.
Do not partition the drive. Format as OS Extended

How to set mac shortcuts (for mac and windows OS)

i am having a bit of an issue.
i run windows 7 and mac os on the same computer on different hard drives in this computer. i also have a "mac" keyboard. i am not sure how this may be different from a "windows keyboard" but the point is i need to use this keyboard because it matches the one on my laptop which is a mac.
when i switch to windows on this machine i always end up deleting information because the CMD + X and CMD + V cut and paste shortcuts on Mac OS are not the same in windows. windows requires (currently) CTRL + X and CTRL + V. so when i got to cut and paste in windows CTRL + X (this is my habitual way of working) and then i run a CTRL + V i end up writing /over/ the text i selected with a "x" and i end up pasting /over/ the text i selected to paste over with a "v". this is because instead of running a cut and paste, this set of shortcuts in windows simply enters "x" and "y" respectively since the shortcut is not active.
does anyone know where i set these in windows OS and in mac OS?
also, does anyone know if it is possible to set how many UNDOS i can do in either of these OS's or to know how many i can in fact undo?

long story background:
1. while i may move to a windows keyboard on the computer i am using (because the mac keyboards these days end up losing keys and they end up very wobbly) i cannot do this for the laptop machine so this may not make a lot of sense if i end up also running windows on the laptop which is my intention at some point.
2. CTRL + X is a very long stretch on the mac keyboard so rather than switching mac shortcuts to accommodate windows shortcuts i am thinking to switch windows shortcuts to mac ATM.
3. this is no small issue! i just went to copy and paste this text so i could save it for myself in order to explain to someone else and i ended up overwriting with a "c". if i had not thought fast and remembered to UNDO by hitting CTRL - X and not CMD - X i might have lost all my work.

I also realise that you can use system preferences - Keyboard - modifier keys to make cmd = ctrl or vice versa
I'd surely ask/read elsewhere about altering windows, given the reach issue - but no qualms beyond confusion if switching/using other machines. You might soon find you switch layouts mentally, quite easily.

I would like some advice with the following:
On P1 there is a text field, say p1_text. The users enters a value into p1_text. This is validated.
If the p1_text value validates OK, and the next button is pressed, there is a branch to page 2, which has a sql query page item named p2_dest which should use :p1_text in a where clause.
If the p1_text value does not validate OK, the user is then presented with a Select List named p1_select (p1_text is now hidden). When the next button is pressed, there is a branch to page 2, and the sql query page item, p2_dest should now use :p1_select in a where clause (instead of :p1_text).
I have the validation and presentation of either p1_text or p1_select working OK, but would really appreciate suggestions on how to set the one item on page 2 with either of the page 1 items when the branching occurs.

I used pl/sql in a page process on P2 to implement this logic to set a P2 item. I removed the setting of items from the calling page branch process.
