Is "USB Storage App" the actual name of an app? If you go to the app's page on the App Store, there should be a link to the developer's support page.

Cover flow into album art and how to control iTunes from another app.

Hi all 2 areas of concen, one is coverflow/ album art and the other is itunes controller:
I have searched but cannot find the answer to this:
1) I have some songs with album info already, and I used iTunes to get the album art for coverflow etc. ... some songs from the same album did not have the album category filled in, I go back and fill it in: now how do I get iTunes to recognize the album art so it shows up for the newly corrected songs?
2) In coverflow, iTunes picked the wrong album cover, can I manually fix it/pick the right one?
3) will coverflow only show album art for those albums recognized by iTunes, or will it use album art that I get from other sources and add manually? And what will show up in my ipod?
and lastly
4), is there anyway to control iTunes without switching apps (if I am working in Word or safari and want to skip a song, etc)...is there an overlay controller?

So, I live in Germany but I set the language for my iPhone 5S english but for some reason App Store and iTunes Store still load german and I'd like to buy some films but I have a fear that it'll download them on german , so how can I change thw language for iTunes Store and App Store without changing the country in my Apple ID (Germany) cause I don't think it's allowed to enter fake information.

i'm new to apple products hence all the questions, i'm english speak english and live in spain, i have installed the uk english version of itunes, set my region in windows to uk, but when i want to buy something i get sent to spanish i tunes store, can i change this to english or is it looking at my isp.
maybe i should login to my apple id and change my address to the uk and see if this reflects in the store

I can't find in any bios setting to enable boot with USB storage... It recognize the USB storage drive but not booting it. I am using Imation 256mb memory stick. It boots in other system where there is option to select in bios, but not with Neo2. please help

I have all my itunes information such as apps. songs etc on a PC. We have just got a airbook and would like to use this as the main tool to keep all our apple product upto date etc.
I have to following products,
1 iPad
2 iPhone 4
1 Itouch
1 Note book air.
How can i transfer all the information from the PC to the Mac Air book with out losing any apps and other downloaded information.
I am aware that I can have 5 appliances to an account but not sure how to do this in an effective manner.

Have you checked that contact syncing is still enabled on your device, (settings > iCloud > contacts).

How to Sync Itunes version 11 apps with IPhone 4 (iOS6.1)

I upgraded my Iphone 4 to version 6.1 and also my Itunes on the PC to version 11.
When trying to sync apps (even just one) to the iphone (using cable or over Wifi) it starts the install on the Iphone, shows half a blue bar as if progressing then clears the bar to nil and hangs. How do I resolve and if I have to download again in Itunes what about purchases made previously) ? I can load new apps over 3g ok but not through syncing.
Any ideas ?

I have installed iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 and made it a clean install so that I won't have anymore all my apps and start over. But now every time y plug in the device and iTunes starts it sync's all my old apps with the iPhone and I don't want that, how can I stop it.

This does not work. I have the "Automatically install new apps" disabled, but iTunes is still trying to sync the apps. And fails, BTW, see the error below. That's the reason I do not want to sync up apps, they sync fine from iCloud. I have the latest iOS and the latest iTunes - just now downloaded and installed. What's the problem?

Is there a way to tranfer iTunes from Windows XP to Lion with keeping not only music but also meta-data, apps, device backups, etc?
Most threads here are reaging the music library. Note: The Migration Assistant doesn't tranfer iTunes.

Actually I don't mind to much about the music stuff.
What conserns me the most is the iDevices thing. I don't want to "start all over" on OSX.
So what actually happens, when I sync my iPhone with iTunes on OSX? Will it take all(!) my data from the device?

[SOLVED]Udev: How to easily automount usb/storage devices?...

Hello there everyone, first time posting here.
So as for my question, I recently finished up my preferred install for arch but I have just one problem. Can't seem to get Udev working right.
Before I was using debian with the same Udev automount rules posted in the wiki actually. Then I tried the same ones migrating to arch but they don't seem to work. After searching for my netbook, getting the runaround, then searching for an alternative method and getting the same it's getting kind of annoying. So here I am.
I'm running Arch with LXDE and all default DE components(PCmanFM, openbox, etc). I don't have HAL installed, only udisks and udev as PnP support. Any help?
(Also in specific, I was using the second rule in the Udev wiki page. The one with LUKS support)
(Ah, nevermind is was just a tiny bit of a syntax error. A little bit more googling helped me find the answer)

How can I download itunes for imac onto usb storage

Ive just bought an iMac but sadly BT (useless) havent yet installed our landline/internet and wont until end March. I have internet access from a friends PC, but cant seem to update itunes via saving to dongle and then transferring onto my iMac, Im trying to connect my phone to my iMac to use the internet tetherting but each time I do, itunes states its not the most recent edition and I need to update.
How can I download an Imac version of itunes onto my usb storage and then connect to install on my iMac?

My new iphone 5 can not connect to itunes, it comes up as a usb storage device when I plug it in, also in the phone under settings/usage it shows internal memory of 2gb and SD card of 64gb, I cannot get it to connect to itunes at all so cannot sync etc, is this a genuine Iphone or a copy. I have owned 4 iphones and never had a problem with connecting to iphones and restoreing to a backup.

It does not use SD cards.
Fake iphones are really Android phones using the skin of iOS6.
Click on the App Store icon. If it takes you to Apple's App Store, then it's a real iPhone.
But if you are directed to Google Play, then I'm afraid you've gotten a copy.

How to stop iTunes downloading apps to macbook

I have just bought my first iPad (mini) and have used iTunes for syncing music and books.
Have also bought some apps.
Today when I turned iTunes on in my Macbook it accesses the iTunes store as normal but now a screen comes up and it is downloading all the apps I have bought for the iPad onto the mac (presumably).
As I am on a very limited broadband allowance with a 3G network I would like to stop this happening..
I have disable automatic downloading in the store tab of the preference pane but still downloading everytime I open iTunes..
I can't see anything to make it stop happening on the iTunes download screen that pops up all I can do is pause the downloads , which start up again as soon as I open iTunes next time.
My iPad is just Wi-fi not cellular too.

the appletv is an itunes extender, and as such of course it needs to connect to itunes.
the storage location of your data is irrelvant really. you can have it on a time machine, however you still need itunes to manage the content.
if this is not suitable for you, then you most likely have bought the wrong device for your needs.

If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
