And in VMWare you use a VSwitch that has no physical NIC allocated to it.
In Virtual box you use a private network configuration.

I am running tests on my machines and attempting to learn ethical hacking and penetration testing in hopes of it leading to employment. I was told that setting up virtual machines is the safest way to practice this type of testing. I have the VM's setup, and I was following a guide that would show me how to connect the 2 machines to each other and not an outside internet connection as to provide a safe sandbox to practice these techniques without the risk of accidentally doing something I shouldn't any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Are you using a software to see all devices that are supposed to be connected to your router? You can reset and start over with your router. Make sure you have a security enabled on it like WPA Personal. Dear Sir,
How to setup 9ias so that we can have different profile to cater for 2 DADs with the same name pointing to different database.
For example:
/pls/users --> pointing to database 1
/pls/users --> pointing to database 2
I would like to know, how possible is it.
Reason being we would like to deploy both our live and demo plsql application on same application server without the need to change all the dad path to:
/pls/users -- pointing to database 1
/pls/usersdb2 -- pointing to database 2
In other words, we would like to preserve the same DAD name in both live and demo application to minimise unnecessary changes to application.
Please advise.

You should find it's usage noted in the new PCG user guide on page 3-26 under the heading "Configuring Workflow/Event Rules". This way you can have a Flow Rule call a business event component or a workflow. This would be kicked off within a process flow as one of the steps.

I Believe you are trying to use personal hotspot so you can use your 3G/LTE on your pc.
If that's the question, you'll need to turn on "Personal Hotspot" in settings (it's right below bluetooth), then go to your Mac/PC and connect to your iphone as you would with a normal wi-fi connection. You can change the random default password in the same menu where you have turned on "Personal Hotspot"

The iLife apps get tied in with not only the Apple ID, but the Mac that they were accepted on.The Mac App Store will always remeber that the iLife apps have been accepted once before already on this Mac and will only offer to update them with the Apple ID into whose account they were accepted.

My Contact from ICloud imports only the name but not every thing else if I want to import it to Contact on my Mac. But that only happens with my own card.
Before, my V-Card in Contacts on my Mac was ok, but now it disappeared. When I try to import it from ICloud only my name appears.

The backup of your iPod Touch would include your camera roll photos. Restoring the backup to another iPod Touch or iPhone would recover them. Photos will not be restored by restoring the backup to an iPad.
Note: Apple deletes iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so be sure to do this before then.

Judging by all the posts on the forum, there seems to be an issue at Apple's end, although they have made no announcement on their status page. Unfortunately, we may have to wait until Apple is more forthcoming with information.

It sounds like a problem with the domain name server. Be sure you are using the correct DNS in System Preferences > Network, and if you are make sure it is functioning correctly.
