How to setup a Mypostoffice account in Mail?

I have spent all morning trying to set up Mail, so that I can receive my personal e-mail using it. My e-mail provider is The Postoffice so my e-mail is ****@mypostoffice.co.uk
I have followed their online guide, however it is for older versions of mail and so does not match up. I have also called the technical support number for The Postoffice and the guy on the other end knew even less than me! You could hear the panic in his voice as soon as i mentioned it was a Mac...
The problem is, that although i enter all the pop and smtp addresses correctly and enter the right username and password, I keep getting a message saying the password was not accepted. I know it is correct however and is the right one, because I can log into online webmail using it without problem.
Therefore i think it is something to do with the authentication settings, but have no idea?!
Any help would be very appreciated!

Okay didn't see a place to ask a Mail question so I am placing this here.
I work for a helpdesk that requires me to monitor 4 different email accounts throughout the day. They are all Exchange accounts. The first one setups just fine but when I go to setup the others I get a message that states that the username and password are in use for the other account. Is there any way to setup multiple Exchange account when using the same LDAP creds for all the accounts?

I need to add a second Exchange account to my MBP using Mail. Both accounts are with Rackspace, but each email address is unique (i.e., two different domain names). When I use Preferences to attempt to add the second account, it recognizes the new credentials, finds the server and autopopulates the necessary address information. But, as soon as I click "Done" after setting which functions are active on the account (mail, cal, contacts, etc.), the screen shows only my original Exchange account. The new one is not added, yet there is no error message saying that it can't be added. Any idea what is going on? Shouldn't Mail be able to have multiple Exchange accounts, even if they are hosted via the same Rackspace server (in this case: connect.emailsrvr.com)?

My college uses a gmail based mail client using google apps. However, i want to setup IMAP access in Apple mail for convenience. and the password i enter then continue
after hitting continue the error message at the bottom reads:

Ii continue anyway and the inbox never receives messages and continously asks for a pass word

Solved my own problem:
When it asks for the username, you must include your domain, unlike other clients.
So i added my @selu.edu to the end and it worked fine. I'm sure this would work for all GoogleApps users

I have OSX 7.2 Lion but cannot figure out how to setup a signature on apple mail for my emails.

I just converted to OSx 7.2 Lion and starting using the applle mail instead of Entourage because I got a I phone 4S so I wanted to use the cloud. But I can not figure out how or if you can setup a signature to use when emailing. I had it with Entourage and its kinda nice for business so you can put your company name or title after you name without having to type it everytime. Anyone know if you can do it in Lion?

It's possible that the W2 you used was set up with the EchoSign service. It allows you to draw a signature with a mouse. This is available as well with more recent versions of Reader (10.1+) if the form isn't Reader-enabled or secured. You will see this in the Sign panel when the document is opened in Reader.
You can otherwise get an EchoSign account and upload your document and send it to your customers through the EchoSign service. You can establish a free account to see how it works.

Your post is a bit open ended....
First thing - You need to decide if you want to use virtual domains or not.
If
     [email protected]
     [email protected]
     [email protected]
all should be separate mailboxes, then you need virtual domains.
If those 3 addresses can all go to the same mailbox, then you don't.
If you don't need virtual domains, then don't use them... things are simpler without that feature.
If thats the case, in the domain name field in Mail service, enter your primary domain.
You'll then need to enter your other domains via command line.
First, check your mail domain setting with:
sudo serveradmin settings mail:postfix:mydomain
Here is how you enter more than one domain:
- Quit the Server app
- Issue this with your domains between the quotes
sudo serveradmin settings mail:postfix:mydomain = "domain1.com, domain2.com"
- Restart postfix to activate your change
sudo postfix reload
If you open the Server app, you will notice both domains are now listed.

On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.

I'm having the same problem. I bought my first mac and the Apple Mail successfully set up my gmail account and I was able to manually set up a separate IMAP account in Apple Mail. But when Apple Mail set up my hotmail account, it told me that the user/password aren't verified and won't work. Sure enough, the hotmail account always shows as offline, and when I try to take all accounts online, I am prompted for my hotmail password, which is then rejected. I am able to access my hotmail account via Safari using the same user/password, so I know the user name and password are correct. And I checked the POP server, port and ssl settings in the non-working hotmail account that Apple Mail set up, and they are the same ones recommended by hotmail. I tried your suggestion of setting up a new user on my mac and trying to set up the hotmail account in that new user's Mail account, and I had the exact same problem. Help!

A: Yes, I think you need XSLT or Java mapping. But do not confuse it with the Integration Scenario.
    If you do not create Integration Scenario in IR, your interface will be still working.
    The purpose to create Integration scenario is to graphically representing your interface design, your message
    flow, and also can be used in ID to import, or use wizard to create Configuration Scenario. If you do not
    create Integration Scenario, you can still be able to manually create configuration scenario in ID.
    If you still need to create Integration Scenario in IR, two swimming lanes are enough to representing your sending application component and receiving application component. There is no need to have third one except you have BPM involved in your process.
