How to setup a physical architecture for MS ACCESS in Solaris

There isn't any odbc in Solaris platform. How can I access to MS ACCESS files?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, here are two solutions from metalink.
a) Setting up a Sunopsis Agent on the Microsoft Windows system hosting the Access database which will use the ODBC / JDBC bridge for connecting to the Access database. The data may then, for example, be loaded by an Integration Interface into a Database on a Unix system for further processing.
b) Seting up a Sunopsis Package made up of the following steps (to be executed on an Agent set up on the appropriate Microsoft Windows host)
- 1. Run the SnpsSQLUnload Tool to extract the data to a Flat File on the Microsoft Windows host
- 2. Use the SnpsFTP tool to transfer the file to a Unix system
- 3. Run an Integration Interface from the Unix system file as Source.

    Bye, Roberto.

Sorry, I don't believe that you have had a good look at the Foundation framework. I'll now hold your hand while we go through the basics.
Here is the specific page http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/grid.html
    The default values are
    Em-base : 16px
    Row width: 62.5em (62.5em x 16px = 1000px)
    Columns per row: 12
These and other default values can be changed. The fact of the matter is that if you stipulate a section width of 2 or 3 or 12 columns, the widths will automatically be calculated for you.
In your case, if you want 7 columns, all you need to do is change the number of columns per row and the rest is done for you.

  • How to setup a release strategy for store generated purchase order

    Hi there,
Does anybody know how to setup a release strategy for store/plant generated purchase order? I have a request from our client, but I never cross this before. Please help and let me know the step with every single detail.
    Greatly thank for your help.
    Kind Regards,

Please go thru the below Release Procedure and check whether you have maintained all the settings properly.
    PO RELEASE STRATEGY
The release code is a two-character ID allowing a person to release (clear, or approve) a requisition or an external purchasing document. The release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).
Use SE12, structure CEKKO to check all the fields available for controlling the Purchase Order.
e.g. If the total value for the Purchase Order exceeds 10,000, release strategy 01 is assigned to the Purchase Order. There is only one characteristic created in this example. For controlling the Purchase Order type, create characteristic for CEKKO-BSTYP and the value NB.
    CT04 - Create Characteristic e.g. NETVALUE
Click Additional data Table name CEKKO Field name GNETW and press enter
(for currency dependent field, you are prompt to enter the currency which the system then converts the currency of the Purchasing document into this currency)
In the Basic data (X refers to tick),
    X Mutliple values
    X Interval values
In the Value data, in the Char. value column, type >10000 and press enter
    Save your data
    CL02 - Class
    Class - Create REL_PUR
    Class type - 032
    Click Create
Description - Release Procedure for Purchase Order
In the Same Classification section, click Check with error
In the Char. (characteristic) tab, type NETVALUE to assign your characteristics to the class
OMGS - Define Release Procedure for Purchase Order Type
    Release Group - New entries
    Rel.group Rel. Object Class Description
02 REL_PUR Rel. Strategy for PO
    Release codes - New entries
    Grp Code
    02 01
    Release indicators
    Release indicators Release Description
    0 Blocked
    1 X Release
    Release Strategy
    Release group 02
    Rel.strategy 01
    Release codes 01
    Release status 01
    Classification Choose your check values
    OMGSCK - Check Release Strategies
(make sure there are no error messages)
Once the Purchase Order is not release, buyers will not be able to print the Purchase Order.
Goods Receipts will be shown with Message no. ME 390 - Purchasing document XXXXXXX not yet released.
In 4.6c, Purchase Order with Release Strategy have a tabs at the end of the Header. This allowed the buyers to check the release status of the Purchase Order.
The person with the release authorization have to use ME28 to release the Purchase Order.

  • How to setup a default direction for new divs in fluid grid layout in dreamweaver?

    Hi,
how to setup a default direction for new divs in fluid grid layout in dreamweaver? I am an RTL interface user, I need my new divs to be inserted from right to left not Left to Right! could it be in dreamweaver?
    Thanks.

This may get me into strife, but my experience is that you are better off finding another platform for your RWD.
The framework that I tend to use is by Zub-Foundation http://foundation.zurb.com/.

  • How to setup the Airport Extreme for PSP?

Can anyone tell me how to setup the Airport Extreme for PSP? I have been searching the Discussions but none of the posting seems to explain detail enough. A step by step guide would be very appreciated. Thanks.
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

Sorry, I forgot to mention a few points:
    1) I don't have the Airport Extreme base station;
    2) My PowerBook is connect to the internet thru wired connection with the Built-in Ethernet;
    3) The Airport is turned on, but my PSP's scan cannot locate the PowerBook at all (while it find someone else's network)
So, I wonder if I can just connect my PSP to the built-in Airport in the PowerBook directly. So that I can have internet access on my PSP.

  • How to setup gmail push notification for my iphone 5?

I'm using gmail. Prompt respond for mails is very urgent for me.
How to setup gmail push notification for my iphone 5?

I switched from a BB to an iPhone a few days ago and I knew I was going to miss the QWERTY keyboard but then I also discovered that my GMail doesn't 'push' to my iPhone. I was used to 'push' for all mail accounts on the BB. I also missed being able to personalize text, email, and phone tones for individuals.
I tried the Gmail app for iOS and it does deliver Gmail to the iPhone app quickly but the text is tiny and when it is a web page it's almost impossible to read.
So, I have worked out a kludge to get around these problems.
I added my exisiting Gmail account to the iPhone.
Hotmail does push to iOS 7 so I created a Outlook account (could be hotmail or Live) using the web browser.
I added the hotmail account to the iPhone. I basically use this to give fast notification of important emails on my iPhone.
On my macbook email client I created a rule that 'redirects' incoming mail to the hotmail account. The 'Redirect' is important since the email will show up in the hotmail account on the iPhone as coming from the original sender and you can then respond to the original sender from the iPhone, though the sender will see it as coming from the hotmail account.
The other downside is that you will get a second copy of the email in the gmail inbox on the iPhone, probably 15 minutes later.
If you don't want all of the mail being redirected you can create a 'redirect' group in the Address book and then adjust the rule in Apple mail to only redirect the mail to the hotmail account if the sender is in the redirect group. You can add and delete contacts from this group depending upon which ones you consider to be important. You will still get two copies of the email on the iPhone, one in the hotmail inbox and one in the gmail inbox.
You can prevent this from happening temporarily by turning off, but not deleting, the gmail account on the iPhone. You could then edit the emails on the Apple email client before turning the gmail back on in the iPhone.
And finally if you use the VIP feature in email on the iPhone you can create a list of VIP contacts and then assign a different notification sound for the VIP's. So in effect important contacts mail will be redirect to the iPhone for quick notification and very, very important contacts will have a different notification sound.
I'm basically using the Hotmail account as a notification  tool and basically delete all the emails in it since the original copy will be in the gmail account.
And best of all it's all free, except for the bandwidth.

  • How to setup osx Firewall to allow incoming access to nginx?

    Hello!
How to setup osx Firewall to allow incoming access to nginx (any port)?
Local access is all fine, but when I trying to open http://<myip>:<port> from outside (other device in same network) there are no answer.
If I turn off Firewall all works fine, but I want to keep my safety.
Adding "nginx" binary file to Firewall  list doesn't help.

              Victor,
              two ideas:
              1. Once you've seen where jspservlet compiles the jsp to, try adding
an explicit servlet registration (then an acl for that servlet)
I'm not sure if it would work, never tried.
              2. If it doesn't, well, you have a servlet class available from
the jspservlet/jspc process. Move it to servletclasses (or wherever
you keep other servlets) and register/acl it normally

  • Best (Thrifty) physical architecture for medium-size environment?

What is the absolute best physical architecture you would come up with for this medium size environment?

Thrifty? The SharePoint CALs alone will run you at least $1.5 million unless you already own these or have a good EA. You said "basic collaboration" so I'm assuming you don't also need Enterprise CALs though note some of the features you listed
could require enterprise licensing depending on how you're using them.
The information you haven't provided isn't enough to make an appropriate recommendation. While you have 10,000 users it's not clear how many concurrent users you expect, or what sort of workloads these users will have.
Are the users all in one location? Spread out geographically? What types of network connections? Why types of networking devices (such as a load balancer for your second option)
Is this virtual or physical? What are the hardware specs of the servers?
How many documents do you expect to have? How large will they be? What sort of storage is backing this farm? How many site collections, sites, lists, libraries, items do you expect? Workflows, third party solutions, customizations, etc. The list goes on.
Neither of these options provide high availability. Is this a concern for you? I ask because in my experience a SharePoint farm used by over 10,000 people needs to be highly available. If you need HA then you'll need more servers.
Honestly this forum isn't the best place to get the information you're looking for (i.e. an architectural design). Instead I recommend asking specific questions about specific problems you have with your design.
My question(s) then for you are: 1. Why are these the two designs you have? (in another way: What are the decisions and requirements you have that led you to these options) and 2. What is the challenge you're having in picking one of them?

  • How to setup a static IP for a wireless printer

This problem has been ongoing for several versions of OS X and the last five printers I've had and I'm finally over messing with it.  For some reson, when using a wireless printer with OS X this is a repetetive problem, and I think if I configured the printer to a static IP address instead of using DHCP, it might work better.  At least once a week, if not more often, I'll print something and get the ubiquitous Dock error of "Printer is not connected".  The printer is still in Preferences, but if I delete it, then it doesn't show up as it should for selection.
The only way to fix this is reboot, and then the printer shows up again in Preferences.  I select it and all is well again...until a few days pass and the same thing happens again.  Using an HP LaserJet P1102w, still a current model, but it doesn't matter which printer I use.  I also have an Epson Artisan 725 and the same thing happens with it about once a week.  Also, this happens from both my Mac and my wife's Mac, so it's not an issue with just my machine.
I've searched for documentation on how to setup a static IP address for a wireless printer with the Airport Extreme, but all I find are tutorials on how to do it with an ethernet hard-wired printer.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could set up your router to do manual assignment of IP address instead of using DHCP, but that is a PITA, because then you'd have to manually set up IP for all your devices.
If you have AirPOrt Extreme, you could do this:
In your Apple TV, go to the Settings >> About and write down the MAC address of your ATV
Start up the AiPort Admin Utility
    Go to Network tab
click + in the DHCP reservations
Choose an IP you want for your ATV & Enter the MAC address
From now on, this IP address will be reserved to the MAC address and only your ATV will be able to get it, no other device will.
It is not a static IP in a true sense, but behaves just like one.
    Works great for me...
If you don't have a AP Extreme, I'm sure other routers will allow you do reservations too.

  • How to setup the dad file for SSO.

    Hi
We need to setup the dad file for SSO. Can any one help us to setup the dad file.
    Thanks,
    Arvind Goel

    Hi
It seems that SSO is for AppEx Application Authentication only. You can't specify which Database User your application will connect to the database with if you are authenticating using SSO.
I came up against this in the following thread.
Re: How can an AppEX Application work with DB users referenced in DB Trigge
