hi experts
i need to setup the timing in poll intravel.
each and every day evening at 6:00 pm the communication channel want to pickup the data from the data base system.

Its not in the poll interval. Its the Availability Time planning option of Communication Channel Monitoring that will help.

I am executing this stored procedure successfully.

You may give this advise that is you can use RecordsetPerMessage option at sender side. But here I want to read all the records and send 1000 records only.

DCNM5.2 as NX1010 VSB: How to setup system time or NTP?

We installed DCNM 5.2.2c Virtual Service Blade on a Nexus 1010. But we are not able to find how to setup time or NTP neither from GUI nor from the NX1010 CLI. Do we need to touch the virtual appliance for time settings?

Use ethernet.. performance of wireless is never as good as ethernet.
What wifi channel need choose to?
There is no such thing as the best channel..
Leave everything auto.. and see if it gives you full download speed.
Use 5ghz.. and keep everything up close to the TC for the best wireless speed.
If you are far away it will drop back to 2.4ghz which is slower.
Once you reach the internet speed nothing is going to help it go faster so you are worrying about nothing.

What is the optimum time for inserting 1.5 million records to Oracle Staging Table? My scenario ECC to Oracle is taking 3 hours.
With your previous experience, what do you think about this. Is there a scope of improvement?
We have a simple insert through JDBC datatype. i.e Action = INSERT.

How to Setup Airport Time Capsule 802.11AC on Verizon fios

I just got an Airport Time Capsule 802.11AC and i would like to set it up on to my existing verizon fios router as you can't change their router as the cable box works with it does anyone know how to do such a thing?

Setup is amazingly quick and easy, assuming that you connect a permanently installed Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <--> ports on the Fios router to the WAN "O" port on the Time Capsule, and then use AirPort Utility on your Mac or iPhone/iPad for the setup.
We need to know what operating system you are using on your Mac to provide any specific setup details. Or, let us know if you are going to use an iPhone or iPad for the setup.
The Time Capsule will set up another wireless network, so if you do not need two networks, you can turn off the wireless on either the FIos or Time Capsule. If you decide to have two networks, be sure to separate the Fios router and Time Capsule by 5-6 feet or a few meters.....to minimize the chances of wireless interference occurring between the two devices.

I have Apple time capsule and the VZ Router MI424WR. I current set up:
1. VZ router - wireless off, the rest is standard
2. Time capsule: Wireless on in Bridge mode
Result: Internet works but the wireless network is very in-stable. Airtunes is nearly not usable.
I searched in the Internet and there was several comments that is is not a good combination. Therefore it is recommended to convert the VZ router in a modem mode and use only the Time capsule as the router. I tried this several times I do not get it to work. I followed this procedure (http://data.agaric.com/node/2160) but then I need the PPPoE Account number and password. But there do I get this? The Verizon support was not really helpful.
Please, is there a good and complete description to solve that issue?

Verizon router with wireless turned off
Apple Time Casule with wireless turned on
Method 1:
With the Time Capsule in "Bridge Mode", if I remember correctly, you should connect the WAN port to one of the open ports on the Verizon router (I believe bridge mode also turns off the DHCP server on the Time Capsule, if not, find that and turn if off as well).   Change the addressing mode for the Time Capsule to "static" and assign it an address on the LAN which is not in use (choose something you know is out of the way but on the LAN -- I suggest 192.168.1.180 to start -- you can change it once you get everything working).
If it doesn't work this way for you, move the cable from the WAN port on the Time Capsule to Port 1 and try again.
Method 2:
This results in a router behind a router setup, but unless you have devices connected directly to the Verizon router, it shouldn't be a problem.
With the Time Capsule disconnected from the Verizon router, turn on "Connection Sharing" (not bridge mode) and make sure DHCP is enabled on the Time Capsule. You need to change the address range being used by the Time Capsule (which I think defaults to 192.168.1.x to another network -- I suggest, 192.168.2.x with a netmask of 255.255.255.0 and give the router an address of 192.168.2.1 on the LAN side. Now, connection the WAN port to one of the Verizon router LAN ports. If you had anything connected to the Verizon LAN ports, move those over to the LAN ports on the Time Capsule and reboot them.
Method 3:
This is the least desirable of the scenarios because it relies on Verizon's crappy radio in their router (the Time Capsule has a much better radio and support 802.11n as well as b and g) whereas Verizon's only support b/g.    Go back to the configuration for Method 1, but also turn OFF wireless on the Time Capsule and turn on wireless on the Verizon router.   Try both bridge scenarios described -- using the WAN port first and if that didn't work, then moving the connection to port 1.
There is no scenario where you can place the Verizon router behind the Time Capsule -- since I believe Verizon is using all MoCA connections for the WAN side of their connection (you'd have to get Verizon to convert you to ethernet WAN and then they would not support you most likely for any STB issues with your FiOS if the Time Capsule was between the ONT and their router ... so don't even bother wasting time there ... more headaches than it would be worth.
If you're still not sure exactly what each configuration screen on the time capsule should say, post some screen snaps (or the configuration settings/choices which you are unsure about and someone will likely know the answer here).

I want to have wireless time capsule setup but i don't really wanna shell out for an apple time capsule when I have a perfectly working router and hard drive...
Can it be done? would I be better off buying an airport express/extreme?

1) The drive must be formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) to work with Time Machine.
2) The drive will need to be connected directly to your Mac via USB or FireWire connection.

The AirPort Express will not support a hard drive.
Time Machine backups to a drive at the USB port of the AirPort Extreme are not supported by Apple due to corruption issues.

How to setup AirPort Time Capsule with static IP?

Untill few days ago I have been using Airport Extreme as router for my network. It was cabled to the modem from my internet-provider.
I had 2 printers, 1 iMac, 1 MB-Pro, several SONOS-devices, iPhone, Loewe-TV and iPad setup for it.
AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT FOR MORE THAN 4 years
Then I bought my new Time Capsule:
It is connected in the same way as the Extreme but now via a static IPadress.
The Airport-Utility says that I am using these set-ups:
Internet - connection "DHCP"
Network - "DCHP+NAT"
The STATUS is:
"DOBB. NAT"-message at the Airport-utility.
Internet-connection is VERY-good and with high-speed.
I am NOT able to get connection to the TV - it shows 100% connection but will NOT allow me to connect to it (password IS correct:-)
It is only possible to get connected to the one SONOS Play:5 which is connected to the Internet - all the other devices can only be connected when I change the network-setting in AirportUtility from "DCHP+NAT" to "OFF (bridge)".
I have been told that when I am using a static IP-adress for my Airport then "DCHP+NAT" is the right setting in order to make the Airport set-up dynamic-adresses for the wireless connected devices.
I am not very-clever in this - but an old man who wants to get the right advice from a clever-person in order to find a solution.
ANYONE inhere who wants to help me?

I am unclear as to what has a static IP address. And why did you change the setup.. Would it not have worked in exactly the same way as the Extreme?
Is the static address in the WAN setup or the LAN side setup?
Lan side it should be fine.. WAN side is not fine. There are strict rules to apply to using static IP on WAN.
If you can fill that in, it will help me understand the rest.
Also have you updated the firmware in the TC yet? As soon as you have a WAN connection please do a firmware update as there are major issues with SONOS.. which requires Spanning Tree Protocol to work. Apple bungled that one in the first firmware of the TC.. so you must have 7.7.2 and I am not sure it is fully repaired even in that.
I hope you did not reset your AE yet.. sometimes it is better to stick with what works and use the TC in bridge to it.

The following is standard SAP document regarding this attribute, this attribute used to compose your SQL clause for string or non-string, for string, you need to put the "YES". in your case, you need to set set the value "NO"
so create an attribute, pass a constant value "NO" to it, that is it.
hasQuot= YES|NO During construction of the WHERE condition of the SQL statement, the table column type determines whether the default is to set the values in quotation marks (text column types) or not (numerical column types). In a few cases (for example, when using functions), it may be necessary to override this. This attribute enables you to do this. If YES, quotation marks are always set round the values for which this attribute is set in the SQL syntax. If NO, quotation marks are never set. Only use this attribute in individual cases.

Handling JDBC adapter errors in BPM

Hi,
I am using BPM to insert data in SQL server using a snychronous send.However i am not able to trap the adapter errors like server is down or could not insert because of key violation.
Hence i decided to use transport level ack. But i understand that error description is returned in fault messages. Can i use fault messages in BPM???
And also if that is not possible, I would like to know how can i configure alerts in JDBC adapter.

I dont think this is possible. Fault Messages should be sent by the Application System back to XI , the Database in our case. AFAIK< the database cannot send back such fault messages and the error message is trapped in the JDBC adapters log. Try using Adapter Engine Alerts and this will cause the Message to be passed to your ALert framework from the adapter.

Special Characters for Receiver JDBC Adapter

Our Scenario is Proxy -PI-JDBC (SQLServer ). We have special characters in the payload and we are abel to see the special characters in PI.According to JDBC Faq we used haquot attribute and concatenated with Prefix N'<Value>'. But still when the data is posted in the database we cannot see the special characters.
Please let me know your inputs.
