How to Setup Allowed Websites using Customization Wizard 11

I am wondering if it is possible to add a website to the list of allowed websites for Adobe Reader using the Adobe Customization Wizard 11?
I am referring to the list of Web Sites specifically located under Edit => Preferences => Trust Manager => Internet Access from PDF Files outside the web browser => Change Settings => Web Sites.
When an allow entry gets created in this list, it is stored in the HKCU registry key at the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\TrustManager\cDefaultLaunchURLPerms
as a String Value named "tHostPerms" that contains the following info: "version:2|sitename:2"
I would like to setup some of our internal websites to be allowed in this list. I am using the Adobe Customization Wizard 11 to create a custom transform file so that when I push out Adobe Reader 11 to my clients these settings will already be setup.
Does anyone know if this can be setup using the Customization Wizard?

How to add offline help to Acrobat X deployment using Customization Wizard

We've run into the issue of users being unable to access Online Help described in http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/888/cpsid_88831.html. We use a proxy server for user web authenticationa and filtering so we can't avoid this.
I'd like to know if there's a way to add the offline help to our customized deployment Transform using the Customization Wizard. Has anyone installed the Adobe Community Help Client this way?

You can use the Wiz to deploy the PDF Help version. You'll have to run the JS locally to hook up the menu.

Invalid Serial Number when using Customization Wizard to install Acrobat 8

Hello. I'm trying to install Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional using the Customization Wizard to create a transform. The serial number is for the volume license product, and I put this number in the space provided in the Wizard. Whenever I remotely deploy the msi file and the user opens the program, I get the following error: "You have entered an invalid serial number. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and enter in a valid serial number when asked." The program then closes. This does not happen when I install from the CD.
Each of the workstations is a Gateway E-4500S running Windows XP SP2. Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional is uninstalled prior to installation of Acrobat 8, and Acrobat 8 exists alongside Adobe Reader 8.1.1. No other Adobe products are installed apart from Flash Player.

Correct. The CD installation goes without a hitch. I'm using Attachmate WinInstall to try to deploy the software remotely. It worked fine for Adobe Reader 8.1.1, but it's been a bear for Acrobat 8. I'd be okay with a straight CD installation if it didn't involve fifty machines.

How to Publish Multiple Websites Using Domain Masking

Let's say I have a mobileme acct called applesoranges, but then I decided not to use this name for my website. Using iweb, I have created a different website called blueberry.com, and was able to figure out how to set up my personal domain and then mask appleoranges so that only blueberry.co, appears.
I now want to add another website called strawberry.com. With one mobileme acct (applesoranges), is it possible to host 2 separate websites, each of which is masking the original mobileme acct? How does one set up 2 separate websites using iweb (each masking the original acct name)?

For every MobileMe account you can only use the personal domain name option and CNAME only once. You enter your first domain name into your MMe account and then go and set up CNAME forwarding at your domain registrar to forward to web.me.com. For any other sites that you create, you need to go to web forwarding. You set-up the other domain names by using masked web forwarding and point them to web.me.com/username/sitename and by masking these will just show your domain name address and not your MobileMe/iWeb url.
Make sure that you separate out your sites, as it will be easier. You can either duplicate the domain.sites files and have one site per a domain file or use a program called iWebSites to help you manage multiple sites.
You also have the option of not using MMe and you can publish to a folder instead and upload directly to each domain hosting space. This gets away from the problem of how to forward sites to iWeb/MMe.

How to make a form using a wizard when the table has no primary key ?

I want to make a form to update, delete a table. The table has no primary key. The problem is that the Wizard ask for a primary key.
How to avoid using a primary key ? i mean I don't want to create a primary key if is is possible.

I believe the key is choosing 'Interactive' as opposed to 'Classic' in the implementation and then you can choose 'Existing Trigger' for the primary key source and it should work to use an existing column as your proimary key.

How to publish my website using iWeb ? Other than FTP !

Hello Guys , I want to build my own website and I have iWeb software which I got preinstalled when I purchased my MBP. As Mobile me is out of service could anyone give an alternative way to publish my website. I have seen some Youtube videos for doing these but they didn't work. Some, of them are by using Dropbox account - saving file on my computer ...... . There is FTP but I don't have and know what it does. I just want to make,edit my website. So, please help me out ! Yes for triggers use need functions returning boolean value. These functions must reside in a package and you have to define package name as defaultPackage="package_name" in data template.

How can I allow user to customize the functionality of program at runtime? (not using runtime code compilation)

Using .NET Framework 4.0 what features are available that would allow to accomplish something very modular and user customizable, like depicted in this XML. Where I define specific base operations like Get() and Put() methods that operate on strings.
And allow the user to add and remove those or mix and match them in a way that they basically design their own run time functionality that suits them. So they just create their own 'Operation' and fill it with the operations they want to perform on some
incoming data type, in this case it is a string - with substring and insert methods.
EDIT - Assuming end user is non programmer and Dynamic Code compilation is not an option. I have an idea maybe using dynamic keyword, but not sure if it makes what i suggest possible.

How do I allow offline use AND check for updates if online?

I am actually not sure if this is a bug or not, as the behavior changed when I updated from 1.6u20 to u21. I have an application in a single JAR, and a JNLP file. I am testing with Windows 7 64-bit (with both the 32- and 64-bit version of the JVM installed, 1.6u20-b06 on both). The application cache is enabled. Here is my JNLP file:

- JWS does not download updates to the JAR file when the desktop link is clicked.
- The application can run when I disable the network connection.
- The "-offline" switch is passed to javaw in the desktop shortcut.

- JWS does download JAR updates when the desktop link is clicked.
- The application can not run when I disable the network connection (HostNotFoundException).
- The "-offline" switch is not passed to javaw in the desktop shortcut.
What I want to happen is for JWS to check for updates if it can, and if it times out, instead of barfing, just go ahead and run the cached version. What I can get right now is either no updates + offline allowed, or updates + offline disallowed. However, I can obtain the behavior I want if I specify allow-offline then hand-edit the desktop shortcut and remove "-offline":
When allow-offline is present but I remove "-offline" from the desktop shortcut:
- JWS does download updates to the JAR file.
- The application can run when I disable the network connection, after a short timeout.
Now, I was under the impression that this behavior is the intended behavior of allow-offline: attempt to download update, on error, silently start the cached version instead. This does not seem to be the case. I actually wonder if this is a bug, as with 1.6u20, it seemed to download JAR updates just fine when allow-offline was specified (I had issues when the cache was disabled with 1.6u20, and so I moved to u21).
How can I make this work the way I want without having to hand edit the desktop shortcut?
Is this a bug, or am I misconfiguring (OED says this is a real word!) the application?
Is there something else I have to do to indicate that the JAR is updated besides just uploading a new version to the server?
It should be noted that I am not doing any web page magic here, I'm testing by simply downloading the JNLP file off the server and opening it. This is actually my first JWS experience and I haven't gotten to properly embedding it in a web page yet. I do not know if this is significant or not.

Well, I solved that quick. I've been staring at it for over an hour but it popped out at me as soon as I looked at my JNLP file in my post here (guess it's the red text, heh).
All I need to do is set online="true" in the shortcut, and also specify allow-offline, and all works exactly as I want it to. :-)
Perhaps it was a bug in u20 that was causing it to check for updates anyways even with an offline shortcut... I'm not sure, and I don't have it in me to test it any more at the moment.

How to setup clients to use authentication to access OID

I'd like to perform two tasks with OID:
1) anonymous OID browse for net service entries access to everyone (simple all client configuration - add LDAP naming method and ldap.ora)
2) password protected OID browse for particular net service entries to subset of users (for special clients who has to access restricted Net services)
I check documentation and played a bit and finally can perform task 1) with anonymous binds
Main problem is how to perform task 2). I try to follow guidance from http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/network.112/e10836/config_concepts.htm#i484232
that I need to put those parameters to sqlnet.ora file:
names.ldap_authenticate_bind = TRUE
wallet_location = location_value
I start playing with Wallet Manager with no success yet.
Question:
1) Maybe somebody knows how to perform tasks above better than I suppose to do with little overhead for admin and end user?
2) Do I need to put all OID Net Service entries to wallets for all clients?
3) Do I need to simply create user in OID with enough privileges to access restricted net service names for browsing and put this user to wallet for all clients?
4) Other ideas?
Configuration:
I setup OID 11.1.1.3.0 on Windows XP 32-bit, import Net Service entries from tnsnames.ora, setup anonymous binding.

How to Restore iWeb website using Time Machine

I used Time Machine to back up everything on my hard drive.
I went to the Apple Store, with a question about iWeb.
The guy moved a bunch of stuff around, and "tried" a bunch of stuff.
When he exited out of iWeb, he automatically clicked SAVE.
I want what it looked like Before he touched it.
With every other application, you just need to open the app, then click Time Machine, and it will search for the Backed Up Versions.
Time Machine does not do this with iWeb!
When I search for an "iWeb" folder, I CAN NOT.
I can only search for FILES with the word iWeb. Why?
I know there is a folder called iWeb under Library/App Support/
but that is the Domain.
How do I get my old files back?

You were on the right track.
The domain-file in Library/Application Support/iWeb is the file you need to put back with Time Machine.
